I took it in Sunday morning. I found him very knowledable, well equipped, honest and more than fair. Because of this I took my neices SUV to him the next day for an estimate. The dealer wanted over $2500 in parts alone. His was much lower as he doesnt just throw expensive parts on it but actually suggests only what is required NOW. He fixes, not replaces. Something you rarely see today. I highly recommend his work.

Called around the usual places and Grande Prairie Auto Repair -NORTH location was able to fit us in that same day to diagnose it. The switch for tow/haul on the column shifter was broken/inoperative. The part was only available via dealer and you had to buy the column shifter. Of course! They were able to source it and have it the next morning. Repairs were done and the shop was very accomodating. We even got a ride to and from our travel trailer while it was being held overnight. The vehicle didn't run and had to be hauled into the shop, when we arrived the lady at the front desk was snarky not very helpful. When I mentioned the warranty she brushed me off, offered the policy number and she didn't want it. Once the day of the appointment came everything was rushed and no real diagnostics were done, I was told I needed to install a new bumper and shutter system. If the tech had actually looked at the bumper or ran the VIN they would have known that the vehicle already had one but it wasn't working properly. I was given a quote and told that my warranty didn't cover the work because the part wasn't damaged just "freezing up.' I asked for further diagnostics into the issues to confirm that this was the problem and was told the vehicle had already been taken out of the shop and they didn't have time to look at it again. I paid the 1,400$ bill only to have the same issue arise the next week. I ended up taking the vehicle to a different shop and received much better service, I believe that Accutech never submitted the quote to Lubrico, the receptionist they never did asked for a policy number or want it, once the other shop submitted the claim to Lubrico I received a call from them confirming the work needed which never happened with Accutech. Taking the vehicle to them was a waste of time and money, over 1,400$ to be exact.
