Absolutely terrible experience - avoid this company at all costs…read more I hired this company to level my lawn, which had uneven patches. I was told they'd bring in new dirt and topsoil, and we agreed on a time-and-materials basis. The person seemed professional at first, but things quickly went downhill. After one load of 20 sq yards of dirt and 20 sq yards of topsoil, he told me we needed another load and that it would cost $1,200. That seemed suspiciously high, so I did some checking and found out he was charging me almost double the going rate. Multiple local suppliers quoted me between $500-$780 (including delivery) for the same amount. On top of that, I ordered organic topsoil myself, and the one he provided earlier was questionable in quality. Initially, he said he'd spread the second load as part of the original agreement. Then he suddenly claimed it would cost extra. When I reminded him of our agreement, he refused to continue unless I paid more. At that point, I had already paid for the topsoil, and to avoid it getting ruined in the rain, I gave in and paid him what he demanded. He also promised to return and spread grass seed--but surprise, he never came back. No follow-up, no apology, just vanished after taking more money than he should have. I bought 2 more bags of seeds and spread it myself again. Now it is 3 weeks, and no grass came at the places where this guy order the soil. I already see grass coming to the area where I order the topsoil. I think this guy did not even per topsoil but some free dirt from somewhere. This guy is dishonest, unprofessional, and took advantage of my trust. Do your homework and stay far away from this company.
