We are still working with this company to get solar batteries installed for our home in Palm Springs. What seemed like a good start in late Dec 2025, things were complicated by changes in regulations around the tax credits for homeowners. There was little to no communication from them, unless we checked in on status. After a few months, the initial estimate had to be revised and we proceeded toward install. Initial plans on the location of the batteries became another issue. During a planning walk-through with the text, we were under an understanding the batteries would be placed in our garage. Months passed as we waited for their next steps. Once we got the revised estimate we were then told the earlier location was going to be costly. No one had bothered to look at these earlier documents during that time. There were a couple delays in installation day appointments, and then we learned the approved plans needed to be revised and approved again. So, pending approval and then an inspection, we cannot export anything to the grid. Overall, my advice to any future customer is to know exactly what you're getting into with Supreme Solar. Nice people and they promise the moon. However, their timelines and promises have not been our reality. read more

We had wanted to add solar to our home in Palm Springs for quite some time, but the cost always seemed out of reach. That changed when our neighbour installed solar and suggested we speak with Supreme Solar. I gave them a call, and shortly after, Dave Dickinson returned my message. From the very first conversation, Dave was incredibly patient and took the time to walk us through his ideas for our home. His proposal included not only the solar system but also an upgraded electrical panel, an EV charging station, and a new roof. Because we rent our home out, making sure everything was done properly and efficiently was very important to us. Dave brought Mohamed Kastiro into the discussions, and Mohamed provided detailed drawings showing the proposed panel layout. We made a few tweaks along the way, and at no point did we ever feel like we were bothering them. In fact, the entire team made us feel welcome and supported throughout the process. The installation itself was fantastic. Every step of the project was clearly communicated, timelines were respected, and when the crew said they would arrive at a certain time, they did. That level of reliability is rare these days. We also have to mention Samantha Lee in the office. Hello to who may be reading this and is seeing if suprime solar and electric (SSE) is a good fit for you. This is a good sized testimonial/ review since for me this is a long term investment that I wanted to make sure was right for me. So going back to Nov 2025, I knew I needed to get solar for the house since PGE rates are always going up and summer bills soaring over 400 dollars. With Trump's passing of the Big beautiful bill in July 2025 it would cut the federal solar incentives which are 30 percent. So if you bought a 100k system you get 30k federal tax credit. I go down a rabbit hole calling big companies, sunrun, solar city,...etc. they come over measure everything and give you quotes. Most come up with a bill over 70k for 22 panels and one tesla powerwall which is ridiculous. Most of them want you to do a PPA Which is a purchase power agreement and you are in a long-term contract with that company. So I go to Consolidated electric (( CED) a solar and electrical store in Fresno) to see what more or less a system would run me. For a 8 kW system and 10kwh battery comes around 18k but I still need to have a person install and do the blue prints. CED is like a mom and pop store for electricians. I ask them "hey who's a good contractor here in this area that's fair and don't take advantage of their customers and does quality work?" They immediately without a hesitation tell me about SSE, and tell me it's two brothers that own it which are Michael and Matt. I looked at review online and everything seems to check out. I call them; Brittney (which is awesome) answers and we start the process. They send over a quote which looked good but it was using one of their partners Thrive. Thrive "own" your system for 5-6 years and then you have to "buy it" from them later since they need to get the federal tax credits and incentives. I read the contract and I wasn't comfortable going in contact with Thrive. So I decided to buy it outright. SSE sends over the new agreement and told them it's a go. They sent site surveyor to the house to get a visual on everything and sent blueprints a few days later. They start permitting and all that. Durning this time it's late November/early December lots of rain and holidays, SSE insured me I'd get my tax credit and it would be completed before 2026. The crew of 4 came out Dec 19th and installed 22 panels and 2 tesla batteries under 5 hours. I watched over them and they are as good as they get. Fast, efficient, and clean work is to say the least. They take time to make sure it's done right and no trash was left behind. SSE took care of all the paperwork with PGE and city permitting emailing me and keeping me posted the whole way. Any time I had a question Brittney was there to answer it or she would create a meeting with Michael and I so he can go over it with me. A few days later, city approved the system and got PTO from PGE and the system creating power. To sum up, this was a huge rabbit I went down, do your research on the company you may use since it's a good sized investment one is making and read the fine print. I am very pleased with suprime solar and electric. They made it very easy for the whole process of this system. For any future work I will be contacting these guys. Thank you guys!
