There's an open bar with tables when you walk in, and you can either hang out there or rent a private area for your group to sing their hearts out. I was honestly a little worried about it being crowded, dirty, and hard to get around when I checked Yelp before coming, but everything was perfect when we arrived. From the moment we called to book up to the checking out our bill, everything went smoothly. Our guests absolutely loved it! It's about 10 miles from the Strip, but the drive was totally worth it! I just wish they had more food options and extra microphones, but overall, we had a blast! I think we'll definitely add this to our Vegas itinerary whenever we visit! We were charged $700+ for the whole thing (you don't have to go that far--it's just me who ordered too much). I must have ordered way too much food and drinks for a group of 20.

The place looks amazing, and I think it is more of a place to book an appointment in advance for a big event. There were not menus available, and the tablets were in the room to pick songs. You also had to put a credit card for drinks and whatnot at the counter. Me and a friend ended up spending two hours, and I was assuming that they would tell you when your time is up. They did not, which seemed kind of odd because why would the customer need to keep track that. Spent 50$ dollars than I expected because I was confused. The owner was there, but please have some people who know the policies. The girl at the bar seemed accommodating, but the males at the counter did not seem to communicate as much to find information. Overall, would go to another venue to chill out.

I signed up for a player's card but no great freebies right away. Dillion was the one who signed me up for my card, he was nice. Alyssa was the bartender who took care of my friend's & I. I really liked her. She was friendly, engaged in conversation with us & was quick to wait on us & bring us our drinks. I played some video poker but didn't win anything. Bathrooms are single, male and female and they're strict on boys using the boys & girls using the girls per a sign they have hung up....lol There is one pool table & a few tall table tops you can hang out at. It does seem more of a dive bar with a younger crowd, like 20 year olds. My friend's & I were prob the oldest ones on the bar side.....lol I love the outdoor décor, so cute!!

We got lucky getting there early, because it was really starting to fill up inside and out once it started! Note that The Speakeasy is 21+ only. We sat with a guy who was sitting alone at one of the tables out on the patio on the first floor - it turns out his girlfriend works here. We were all given a round of tequila shots, where I selected the silver tequila, their lightest one that they had available. They did two more rounds of tequila shots later that night, but I only did one because I drove here. One of my friends had another Jack Daniel's, which was her third one of the night. Their full drinks come with a cool light-up marble that changes color. While my friends went to go dance along with the live band that was playing various music from the 80's and 90's, I stayed behind and ordered some food, which was well needed for me. I ordered the grill cheese sandwich (stylized as THE Grilled Cheese on their menu) with fries on the side. Various cheeses were inside this sandwich, such as brie, mozzarella, and boursin. A guy dressed up as a squirrel saw me eating this and we struck up a short conversation on how he makes grilled cheese sandwiches the easy way. Though I don't eat these very often, I took his advice. Later on, our waitress approached me and told me that the bartenders were getting ready to close out all open tabs at the bar, and that it would be a great time for me to grab a drink before they stopped all sales for the night. I told her that I would be happy to have one, but I had to drive home. This was a great bar to hold an afterparty! Would love to come back again here next time. The band played well too and I recognized all the songs that they performed.

Catching up with my friend on Fremont, I knew karaoke had to be part of the night -- and I've…read morealways heard great things about Ninja Karaoke from my friends at Zappos. So we decided to check it out! There's security at the entrance to check IDs, and the host was gracious and welcoming. The lounge area was hosting a private party, but luckily they were able to get us into a private room. Even though all the rooms were fully booked, we managed to snag one for an hour -- perfect for a quick karaoke fix. (Pro tip: book ahead if you can!) The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and surprisingly spacious. The sound system was solid, and the song selection was spot-on -- everything from classics to current hits. Service was friendly across the board -- even security was easy to chat with, which added to the relaxed, fun vibe. I'd definitely recommend Ninja Karaoke for anyone wanting a lively, private-room singing experience. And yes... I'd happily come back! Have fun & sing your heart out!

I honestly can't believe how my sister's birthday ended…read more The worst part wasn't even the service--it was finding out after I had already paid that they had added an automatic 18% gratuity to my bill without mentioning it beforehand. Here's how it happened: the employee told me my total, I paid it like any normal customer would, and only after handing me the receipt did he casually mention that they automatically charge 18% gratuity for "parties of seven." Seven people? It was four adults and three children. If you're checking IDs for the adults and allowing kids inside, how is a customer supposed to know that children count toward your automatic gratuity policy? That should have been explained before renting the room, not after the payment has already been processed. What made the experience even worse was the employee's attitude. He made several subtle, smart remarks that weren't outright rude, but definitely came across as disrespectful. It's the kind of customer service that leaves you wondering why you're even spending your money there. The crazy part is that I've been to Ninja Karaoke's Chinatown location before with eight adults, and they didn't automatically charge gratuity. We happily left a $30 tip because the staff there treated us incredibly well. Between the room, drinks, and two hours of karaoke, we spent around $350, and we had absolutely no problem tipping because they earned it. This location was completely different. I'd never been here before--my GPS simply brought me here instead of the Chinatown location. I figured all Ninja Karaoke locations would provide a similar experience. I was wrong. This visit completely changed my opinion. Not because of the money, but because of how everything was handled. If you're going to have an automatic gratuity policy, be transparent and tell customers before they agree to rent a room--not after they've already paid. As a bartender myself, I understand tipping better than most people. I have no problem rewarding great service. What I do have a problem with is hidden surprises and poor customer service. Because of this experience, I won't be returning to this location, and honestly, I don't see myself visiting another Ninja Karaoke again. I'd rather sing karaoke in my own living room with a few bottles from the liquor store and save hundreds of dollars. Or better yet, I'll gladly go back to Go Go Karaoke. They charge about $20 an hour, don't have an open bar (they offer wine and sake instead), and I've had a much better overall experience there. I'd rather support a business that's upfront with its customers than one that leaves me feeling blindsided at the end of the night. Go Go Karaoke--you've got a loyal customer back. I won't make the mistake of going elsewhere again. If you're looking for karaoke in Las Vegas, I'd personally choose: Go Go Karaoke 4550 S Maryland Pkwy, Unit 18-19 Las Vegas, NV 89119 Hopefully this review helps someone avoid the same disappointing experience my family had on my sister's birthday.
