This has honestly been the single worst experience I've had with a barber shop or salon, I used to go to a salon but the owners retired so I had to find a new place and after seeing the great reviews I chose Supremes. I can't speak to the skills of the other barbers that work here but unfortunately for me I got Ron. I have long hair and what I asked for was a simple maintenance cut, even out the length and take about 2 or 3 inches off, what I got was a butcher job a 5 year old could have performed...he took more like 5 or 6 inches off the right side and 3 inches off the left leaving it very noticably uneven the back is the same it gets gradually uneven from right to left. The thing that bothers me most is he had me turned away from the mirror the whole time otherwise maybe I could have stopped him before he butchered my hair. I have a hard time believing a barber could be this incompetent to the point I almost question if Ron did this intentionally, needless to say I'll never be stepping foot back in this place again and I suggest anyone considering having their hair done here to think twice. read more

A while ago, I came in for a simple cut, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I had to wait, (which wasn't a bad thing), the problem was- is that the barbers were hollering about what was on tv and raving about sports; just staring at the television for minutes while cutting people's hair and with people in the lobby. JD at Supreme checks all the boxes. Actually I watched the other barbers and they all did excellent work. The conversation was great as well. Sports and cars. JD made a great point. A great haircut changes a man's perspective of himself. A woman can change her hair style/color. They can wear a new dress, new shoes, get cosmetic surgery, get their nails done, etc. A fresh hair cut is really a gamechager for us guys. Arrived at 5:00pm while in the area and went on yelp to find this location , It had 5 stars so i just thought for sure they would be good, But oh did i miss on this one . Went in to ask if i can get a haircut only to be told that they close at 5pm and at the time it was 5:12pm that they would cut it for $100.00 in for you to see clearly what he said was One Hundred Dollars U.S Currency , Unbelievable i couldnt understand or think for a minute they would ask for a ridiculous amount of money , when a average haircut is $20.00 no more than $25.00 unless your getting special hair dye or designs which require time but i only wanted a lineup with a taper , but they tottally lost me when they said the price and not even welcoming while walking into the establishment. I initially searched for a kid friendly barbershop with the kid toy planes and car chairs but yet with a barber that can still handle my sons mixed texture Afro. I stumbled upon Supreme and even tho they don't advertise all the bells and whistles I was looking for for my son I'm so glad I found them. What's most important is a quality haircut by a professional that could handle my son who hates getting his hair touched much less combed or cut. Mr.Brown was amazing with my 2 year old. My son was so comfortable with him (our iPad distraction helped!) and he did an amazing job. The guys are hilarious but gave great advice on maintaining his hair. Went in yesterday to get my 13 year olds hair cut when he came out his hair line was crooked I couldn't even tell he got a hair cut so I sent him back in second time he came out it looked a little better but far from a good cut asked my son for the change I gave him $40 for a $25 cut the guy never gave him his change and I went back in they said the guy left and gave me his number the guy ERIC has yet to return my call! I took my son London to this barber shop because it had good reviews. It was a little hard to find using Google Maps but I made it. Everyone was very welcoming to my wife, son, and I. He was getting his first haircut. His barber's name was Bill. He made sure to accommodate London by letting my wife hold him while he got a hair cut. He was very patient as well and knew what he was doing. My little baby came in with curls etc. all over his head. He left out looking like a big boy. He cried a little but we got through it. He received a certificate and we got to keep his hair. I loved his the barber also gave us advice on how to maintain my sons hair because he has different textures all over. My son (12 y.o.) and I were in town for the Thanksgiving holiday from Chicago. Didn't have time to get one before we left; but really needed it. Always concern about just going to someone new to cut my hair; especially when one is from out of town. The shop met the standard our standards. My son is extremely picky about his haircut (especially since his basketball coach made him cut his afro) and he walked away extremely happy with the service and cut from the shop. The cut he received was a 2 with the grain and tapered in the back and on the side. The barbers were attentive and asked many questions to ensure the perfect cut. For me, I received a great cut suitable for the corporate setting. They gave me the "Obama" cut. Very professional, clean and exactly as requested. Rude! I walked into the shop. I asked one of the barbers about how long it would be before he would be able to take me. I wanted to know so I could make a decision on whether or not I was going to be able to wait. Another barber jumped in the conversation and started in on how I just needed to sit down and wait. It escalated into more than it should have been as far as a discussion. He continued to raise his voice at me while my barber said nothing. I decided to leave instead of spending my money here. Arrived about qtr to 5 (they close at 6) with my three boys in tow. The barber in the first chair on right proceeded to ask who usually cuts my kids hair. I explain who which one of them happens to be one barber who was already mentally out the door this rainy Saturday evening. He states he never cut my kids hair. Ok thanx! They have new guy who offered to do my kids hair but I had to wait for two people who were ahead of me. I said no problem it's usually a 2hr affair anyway. After waiting for approximately 45 min he then tells me he can only cut two of my kids hair. I said ok. Then approximately 10 min later he tells me it's not happening today. Wtf? Why not say that instead of having me sit here. I calmly gathered my little ones and left without making a scene!
