First off I will start with the positive. Dr.Thomas is very intelligent person. She is proficient in interpretation of lab results and formulation of plans of care. However, when it comes to education of her patient and operation of her office, she comes off very abrasive and condescending. Rather than attempting to have a conversation about the treatment she is prescribing, she gives you "generalized" papers that appears as though they were just copied from a book. The patient is pressed quickly for payment and feels rushed out of the office. Voicemails (questions) and online questions go unanswered. It makes the patient feel unvalued and unimportant. I have never seen any office staff or other patients in the office while I am there. Seems very odd. She has had conversations with her vendors/computer providers with me in her office. She was very pushy to the point of being extremely rude, not to mention a waste of my time. While I value her expertise in her field, I cannot continue to go to her. She doesn't know how to run a medical practice, which is sad, given her obvious knowledge of her subject matter. read more

One of the rudest people I have ever met. Immediately was demeaning when I entered. I'd read prior reviews like this but I haven't experienced first hand...until today. When I arrived I was looking for a long term program and HCG. She said 'what I tell you goes in one ear and out the other, I've told you what you need to do'. She was snide. But she was answering phones and helping a walk in. Typically I'm used to a doctor having a two way conversation, like 'tell me why you can't keep the weight off'? We went back to the office. I should have left at that point. She said we need to get diagnostics. I sat at the bp chair. She said you've been here, you know what you are supposed to do and pointed at the scale. Well, Bp is a diagnostic to me. Weight is a scale. I don't know? She couldn't simply say 'let me get your weight first'. When I told her the tone and how I was not happy with it and don't respond well to that, she literally yelled at me for a good 15 minutes allowing me to say very little. She informed me I have a victim mentality? I took ownership over my weight (nobody else puts stuff in my mouth) but simply informed her how she talked down to me immediately arriving was not appreciated and in the back office. She said nothing she said was of mal intent (I never told her it was) because she doesn't even remember me until she had just looked at my file online sitting in front of her (while still yelling). That's odd because at the front office she remembered everything she has said to me to tell me it goes in one ear and out the other? I'm pretty direct and can take a lot more than most. So she said she can't treat me and that was fine because I was done at that point. She followed me out still yelling at me. I mentioned 'now I see why she has bad reviews', she said she has five stars. Obviously the 'doctor' needs an eye appointment. Of course my final word referencing her as a female dog was not becoming but it was accurate. She is an office of one for a reason. This individual certainly has a 'God' complex and is very angry. I read a bad review from a person on here saying Dr. Thomas is rude. Not so. She is very direct and I think when you're being told something you don't want to hear, you may perceive it as rude. I went in for weight loss. We went over the options but as we went she was telling me more info about my symptoms that are signaling a bigger problem. I was short with her as I just wanted to get these stubborn 20lbs off. Truth hurts but when I tell you going to her was the best thing I could've done. I left without weight loss supplements but came out a functional medicine patient. My hormones are SEVERELY imbalanced. I got some hormones to take. Last night was the first night I got UNINTERRUPTED SLEEP in months. And more than 4 hours! Yes she does weight loss but keep in mind SHE IS A DOCTOR! She is going to tell you about your health. Those supplements are quick fixes but if you're willing to listen and let her, she help you get to the root causes of the weight gain in the first place. I have to say I'm pretty thankful. I'm on a different journey and I'm thankful I went to her. I trust her fully. She won't be getting any push back from me! I'm excited to see where this is headed! Awesome! The staff is always prompt & courteous when I come in and I've been in several times. Dr. Thomas has been very informative and honest with me throughout my weight loss journey. I want someone to care if I'm not meeting my weight loss goals, because that is the whole reason for me coming to this office! If I wanted a pill pusher who did not care about my personal goals and results, I would go elsewhere. The programs work, the doctor and staff are honest, and I have easily lost over 30 pounds with the help of Dr. Thomas and her well trained staff/consultants. I will continue to go in for checkups and make sure that I am losing weight and maintaining a better lifestyle for myself. Dr Thomas is VERY rude. While at my appointment, I asked Dr Thomas a few questions about different options she offered. She proceeded to stated I was wasting her time by asking so many questions and she could be seeing other patients. I was appalled by her rudeness and temperament. I decided not to continue with the appointment because of her rudeness. She stated she was going to charge me a 25 dollar fee for canceling the appointment, even though was sitting in the patient room with her. I am very disappointed. Dr. Thomas has been such an absolute BLESSING to me! I've been visiting this clinic for a couple of years after having several miscarriages and a still born son..I decided to just focus on losing weight and getting healthier and along the way Dr. Thomas educated me about the importance of different hormones in our body and suggested I take the female hormone panel. Once I took the test my results showed that my progesterone level was 0%..so she prescribed progesterone pills for me to take and within a month I was pregnant and my pregnancy was a success. I now have a beautiful healthy rainbow baby girl who just turned 8 months. I am forever grateful to her for all the knowledge she has given me and many other women!! First red flag is there was NO staff, when you call to make an appointment it is the doctor you are speaking to. What "doctor" has no support staff? Reading the older reviews it makes sense in this case. Second red flag I visited the office twice (once just to pick up b-12 shots) & not only were there no patients waiting, no patients came in while I was there either visit. Third red flag, this woman has a cvs style blood pressure machine crammed in a small patient room. The doctor seems to think being rude is the same thing as being direct & I told her that. As I was CLEARLY gathering my things to leave she said "we can end the appointment", I could only laugh. She FOLLOWED me through the empty back area into the empty waiting room saying she's helped "thousands" of people lose weight *eye roll*. This lady needs to address what seems to be a mental health issue before she sees patients. It would be funny but for the fact she could be dangerous. There are many, many clinics that offer similar services be very careful with this one. The support staff is phenomenal, and the product is hard to find, but that's all I can say that is positive. Dr. Thomas is very disrespectful to patients and her staff. She changes the rules of her scheduling and then blames the staff and down-talks them behind closed doors. I saw her get impatient with one technician and yank the folder out of her hand while saying, "Move On". She also talks down to patients who don't meet the monthly goal of weight loss-despite still losing. Dr. Thomas continues to push her vitamins/medication/products. I get the feeling she's in this for $, not to help people. I called to reschedule an appointment. While talking to the receptionist, I was simply advising her the services I wanted to receive. The lady told me to stop talking and I talk too much. She became irate and started talking down on me. At that point, I cancelled my appointment and went to another doctor. Trust but verify. This place is the most unorganized place ever! The staff argues in front of patients. They charge for services "included" in packages . They are rude and not professional. I gave them the benefit of the doubt even after scheduling an appointment and having arrived and being told I couldn't be seen for what I wanted. Mind you I drove 2 hours to this place only to reschedule my appointment. The second time wasn't any better but I was there so I went ahead with my appointment after being promised a discounted package... That didn't happen either! Dr. Thomas is a brilliant primary care physician. Weight loss, western and holistic medicine is definitely her field of expertise. I had problems with my thyroid, fibroids and insomnia. She explained that if my hormones were under control then everything else would be regulated. Please understand, that I my symptoms were so severe that I could easily go 24-72 hours without sleeping. When I went to bed, I usually just rested. I had to use Tylenol PMs to go to sleep. I have done this constantly for over 10 years. She treated my symptoms with her natural products. As a result, it eliminated my insomnia. I fall asleep within 30 minutes or less. Throughout the night, I stay asleep. I wake up feeling relaxed and refreshed. As a result, my thinking is clear, I feel less anxious and more motivated to reach my daily and weight loss goals. Moreover, she has a friendly and helpful staff. I think the staff here is great! They're all very friendly and nice. However the office is VERY poorly run. Even when it's not busy I can not be there without spending an hour and a half in the office. For what should take 20 minutes. Often times I ask the doctor questions in the middle of making a comment about something else and she just says "yeah" to everything I say. No answer, she's not listening she's just using her rehearsed response. She does push the products and vitamins and doesn't really waste time discussing products found elsewhere. I've had employees ask me what I'm there for after I've been seated in a waiting area behind counter. I've had two different nudes come and take my pulse and weight not realizing someone else just did. I've waited in a room for an hour just to find out that they didn't know why I was waiting and I could have gone home. Overall I think it's over priced, poorly run, and the doctor is in it for the money. The staff is really nice, and that is the only reason I made appointments to even go in and get my check ups during hcg. Otherwise I would not have even bothered and just monitored myself. I would not recommend this place to any person I know, I'd be embarrassed to actually because of poorly run it is. read more

I have to say my overall experience at Sure Success has been great! I have lost a lot of weight and I have recommended the program to a number of friends. I'm sorry the reviews posted prior to mine are rated so low. I do feel if you're experiencing issues with anyone you're conducting business with, you should address your concern directly to he/she in order to receive a resolution. I understand the excessive waiting time during your visit at the office can be frustrating and it has been for me too. However, the fact Dr. Thomas pushes and promotes her product is not a bad thing. As she is in the medical field as a weight loss physician, it only makes since that she promotes, advertise and market her product for business growth. And if your thoughts are that she's in the medical filed for the money, I would have to say you are right cause what Doctor do you currently know that has their license and do not practice for a means of income/money? I'll just say, before trashing someone's business you should consider all factors in the matter and be mindful of the harm you could cause. I worked at this placed for a month and very surprised I made it that far. I was recently let go 2 days ago because Dr. Thomas is very rude, disrespectful, and absolutely has no remorse nor thankful for anything we would do. I tried talking to Dr Thomas regarding this matter and she began to yell infront of patients and other staff. I have never in life worked with anyone so disrespectful, unorganized, and unprofessional as Dr. Thomas. She is definitely in it for the money and does not care about anything else. I would hear her speak to another staff very very disrespectful, even telling one she is not going to pay him for the time he went into the office which his only transportation is taking the bus to work on the weekend to have things prepared for Monday morning and due to a few sheets being incorrect in the files he prepared for new patients she made him fix the files and sent him home. Dr. Thomas does not make herself approachable for clients nor staff. I would never recommend anyone to her office for weightloss, medical, or employment. read more

I will repeat what other negative reviews have said about this place. Dr. Thomas is a joke and I'm amazed that she even still has a medical license. The office is disorganized and frequently messes up appointments. She yells at her staff and belittles them in front of patients. The last time I visited, that was all I could handle. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat their employees. The poor girl at the front desk was helping a patient on the phone and the patient clearly kept asking more and more questions. She handled it very professionally. The second she got off the phone, Dr. Thomas came in the office and yelled at her about why she hadn't handled the patients in the lobby (all who arrived while she was on the phone). She then came out into the lobby and made a bigger show of it. If I had been her staff, I would have walked out! Dr. Thomas will push crappy supplements on you. At my last visit I respectfully declined her supplements (which I had a terrible reaction to prior) and she slammed my chart shut and in front of everyone said "well since you know everything, I guess we're done here!" And then she continued talking to her staff about my care at the desk right in front of two other patients. She is unprofessional, down right terrible to her staff, and my Autistic 7 y/o has better communication skills. She clearly only dispenses her prescriptions in house so she can fly under the radar. read more
