Curley talked with me on the phone, going over not only the number of individuals, but specifically about their appetites - he was focused on making sure I didn't run out of food, which I appreciate! Even though I ordered within less than a week of the event, Curley didn't bat an eye. Delivery? No problem. Food arrived nice and hot in heat-retaining travel cases, with serving instruments and sauces. Everyone went through at least two rounds of food, and we still had leftovers! Our friends were more than happy to take plates of food home and we are still eating ours two days later! My kids are really into the pulled pork. One friend remarked that BBQ'd chicken always seems dry, but that this chicken was anything but. The ribs are award-winning for a reason: delicious. You don't even need any sauce on them. "Just the right amount of fat without being greasy," declared one self-proclaimed BBQ expert friend. I was turned on to Curley's Q because my brother had ordered catering for his wedding reception two years ago, and I remembered it was tasty and the food was popular. We will definitely be inviting Chef Jesus back for future events! It was great to hear how his family started this business, perfected the recipe, and how proud he was to share it with us. We definitely will keep PaellaDeliciosa and Chef Jesus in mind for upcoming events! There's an option to pick up the paella or have it cooked on-site. We loved the on-site option for us (he brings all the necessary equipment) but we'd definitely look into picking it up as well. We all completely enjoyed the food and experience and what fun to have everything prepared right in front of us on our deck! Jesus cleaned everything up like he was never even there.
