I go to Surfs Up Laundry now. The staff are always friendly and go out of their way to be quick if wash and fold for me. The machines have all been replaced and they have offered to show me how all the machines work. I have always been impressed. Recommend. read more

We're in the middle of buidling a new house and there was a delay in the Hydro connection which made me have 10 garbage bags of laundry to do. I chose Surfs up because it was close to Richardson Stadium where my son plays soccer. I went on a Friday evening and was worried it.may be too busy to get everything done but to my surprise I got there at a perfect time. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the prices seemed fair and the machines were fast, clean and efficient. Im hoping i never have to go back to a laundromat but if I do Surfs Up is definitely where i'll go. read more

I would rather wash my clothes in my kitchen sink than ever use this laundromat again. I was trying somewhere closer to our new house. I will travel a little further next time. The attendant (elderly lady) didn't even look up from her phone when we came in. I needed to get change and she had ZERO customer service. I had a large load of towels so I used one of the double washers (did not stuff it) when the load was done the towels were still soaked. I brought this to her attention and her solution was to put it into 2 dryers and dry it that way. It would have taken hours and cost a fortune. When I told her this her response was to look past me and shrug. It also cost me 75 cents more per load than my regular place. read more

Usually a great place to get laundry done quickly and at a reasonable price. We have been using this laundromat for the last 2 years and have noticed the amount of 'out of service' machines are growing and seem to go months without repair. As this number increases, wait times for machines go up also. Many of the seams on the washers are full of hair and dirt, which could be easily maintained. This laundromat is a convenient location for us so we will likely continue going, but improvements could always be made! read more

Nice that it has snacks, drinks and ice cream (although I've never gotten anything). Washing machines are available in a bunch of sizes, which keeps it pretty cheap if you don't need to separate your laundry. They have normal washers for $2.25, plus three sizes of larger washers -- "30 lbs." washer for $5.00 (which I consider a double load), "40 lbs." washer for $6.00, and "50 lbs." washer for $7.00. Again, the 30 lbs. is like a double load, so you might as well just use two separate smaller machines for a total of $4.50. In these front-facing washers, it's recommended to fill the clothes around halfway, while pressing the clothes down and still having them spring back a bit. In my experience, you can go three-quarters from the top and be alright. The dryers are also pretty big. Try to fill them about halfway to two-thirds from the top. Less than that, and the clothes don't tumble properly, and thus won't dry properly. More than that, and they won't separate enough. Try to fit it in the smaller dryers first ($0.25 for 7 minutes, vs. $0.25 for 4 minutes in the larger ones). They have a service of doing your laundry and folding for you, at $1.00/lb. Weigh out your clothes before you come here and do that. After about a week or two, my girlfriend and I have around 40 lbs. of laundry, and often re-wear clothes a few times before washing them. Not worth it. Had some holes in my clothes after doing laundry here on a couple different occasions. The holes are symmetrical on the shirt, meaning they were made while the clothes were squished up, not worn. Some of the staff are very pleasant, some of them are living life getting up on the wrong side of the bed. I think the wifi changed here, because the last few times I've either had terrible connectivity or haven't been able to connect at all. Overall, the laundry isn't too expensive and there are snacks if you want them... it is just a laundromat, after all. I like to use the waiting time between washing/drying and folding productively, so if the wifi keeps acting up I may find another place. read more

As a university student, I would go out of my way to do my laundry here, even though I lived next to another laundromat. During my recent home renovation, I drove across the city each week to do my laundry. Cleanliness makes all the difference. There is always a staff member present, who keeps the machines and floor clean, especially an issue in winter. You never have to wait for a machine, a variety of sizes are always available. There is a seating area with tables so you can get work done while you wait. read more

Terrible experience with their dry cleaning. I dropped off some shirts to be pressed and asked what the cost was. I was told $3.75 each which sounded reasonable. When I picked them up I was charged $9.50 a shirt! The lady was totally unapologetic and simply told me "I was told the wrong price and there was nothing she can do". Lied about the prices and could care less about it. read more
