I'll start off with we had a wonderful experience at this spa, nice people, great treatments, however I'm in awe that once they realIzed THEY charged me the wrong price, they decided to charge my credit card a WEEK later with no contact at all. When I called about this the lady hurried to say "oh don't worry I'll take care of it, and said I can't talk about it right now" then hung up the phone. So I said okay?? And called back the next day asking to clarify what she meant, and then she proceed to tell me that they messed up on my charge and needed to make up for it so just charged my card on file. I would've understood if they would've been nice enough to just call me and let me know. Especially because I asked them to not charge this card I would pay with a different card upon checkout. So for lying to me and then not contacting me, I don't trust this company and I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

I got an hour and a half therapeutic massage with Thomas, the owner. I am a dental hygienist with chronic upper back/shoulder/neck issues. Not only did Thomas effectively relieve my pain, he also gave me several suggestions for exercises I can do at home and work to help. He was extremely professional and I felt very comfortable. Overall, I have no complaints about the condo we stayed in, the beach, pool, etc. Everything was nice. At night the condo was a little noisy w/ people at the pool & in the halls which can be expected. But the amount of things asked of the guest apon their departure is a little ridiculous.. We were asked to have ALL of the towels washed & start a load of bed sheets in the washer. I have never heard of anything like this. But we did it all without complaints. Also, the cleanliness of our condo was a bit lacking. The glsss on the balcony probably hasn't been cleaned in months nor the balcony been swept, the tile in the showers & on the floor needs a MAJOR deep cleaning & bleaching. The overall experience was fine & I don't have any complaints about our stay, staff, or the beach access & chairs we had at the beach. I just feel the amount we paid to stay in our condo it could've been a little cleaner. Also, the Spa in the condo is fabulous! I highly recommend Tara for a deep tissue massage. read more

Best massage ever! And I've had more than my share! My hubby booked a couples massage while on vacation and it just so happened that I had a serious knot in my back. I had Sandy and he had Crystal. Sandy was absolutely amazing and focused on my knot and made it vanish (literally). The therapeutic massage was a firm massage, which for some reason is hard to receive from masseuse's. Even when I tell them firm they tend to drift back to relaxing massages. Sandy has excellent pressure and really had an awesome technique. My husband said he could hear me exhaling loudly. LOL! I have been talking about the massage since we left Destin. I wish I had her in my city. I regained full mobility of my arm immediately after her massage whereas before, it hurt to pick something up because of that knot. I'm amazed and will use her every time I go. They were renovating so we were in a different room but it really didn't matter. Eyes closed, music on... you couldn't tell the different. Thank you Sandy! Oh, and my husband loved Crystal. This is my first review to ever write. I am not one to be critical unless I feel very strongly about something. I have had quite a few massages of varying price ranges, some I liked more than others, but I have NEVER had a massage that I literally was counting down the minutes hoping it was almost over. The pressure was uncomfortably light, even after asking several times. It felt as if she had never given a massage before. I was trying so hard to relax but it was so bad I was more anxious and tense leaving than when I arrived. Payed $90 to be miserable and disappointed. Not sure how they have such good ratings because I rate my experience 0 stars. read more

I am so thankful to find this place .. I was in a lot of pain .. I came in and Tom help me and squeeze me in their busy schedule .. I'm so thankful for that cause I couldn't turn my head since my neck was so stiff .. Any who .. Crystal the masseuse did a really good job .. She literally felt all the place that I was in pain without having to tell her and worked it all out for me .. And now I get to spend the rest of my vacation without being stiff and in pain .. Had the couples massage..with Leslie and Cheryl(I believe)...Massages were great! My only suggestion to the therapists would be to follow through with your movement...don't stop abruptly..it can feel a little jerky...again this could be my preference so I don't think the therapist(s) did anything wrong per-say....They checked in a few times throughout the appt to see how we were liking the pressure which was nice...as for the location...it's right off the beach..We stayed at the condos beside the Surfside resort so it was very convenient... We just walked right over!The room is pretty small but it was spacious enough..outside noise was minimal however there was a moderate amount of shuffling and bumping in to things inside the room...(maybe this is due to the small room idk) Also, it may be beneficial to have people come 20 minutes or so early so they can fill out paperwork and have adequate time for the consult....That said we didn't get started with the massage until 6 or 7 minutes past our appt start time and they did tack those minutes on at the end which was much appreciated! The room is dim. There are hooks and everything for your clothes which is nice! The music was soothing.The place is very clean and the staff is friendly.....My husband and I would definitely return in the future! read more

Very average. Not a very relaxing atmosphere. Small room in the seaside hotel. Didn't feel very professional nor elegant
