Splash pad park

Found this cute little splash pad not far from the house a dollar to get in!!! My girls are 3 and 1 and loved it! Lots of water squirting up and down. Water tables too! We will be back through the summer! I love that they are having fun and getting tired and I can chill in a lawn chair and watch!

Super simple set up. You can't beat the price. I do wish there was more areas to Play (1-2' pool would be cool) but we were still pleased. Great for toddlers and kids under 5.

This was a blast with my toddler. This hidden gem is only $1 to get in. There are shaded picnic areas to sit. The place is clean and the staff is super nice. This was hours of fun for my almost 2 year old. The place is all concrete, so I probably wouldn't recommend it for a kiddo who is a new or almost walker.

Nice, well kept splash pad with life guard in duty. We went from @9am to 11am on a Sunday and was not too crowded, although many people were arriving as we left. CON - Annoying people bring water shooters and do not monitor their children playing with them. Small kids an innocent bystanders get caught in the crossfire. Also - just like the dog park...don't bring a toy to the public space if your kid won't let anyone else touch it (buckets, balls, etc.)

Fun day at the splash pad!

What a wonderful place! I went here today with my 2 girls(4yrs and 7yrs) one of their friends(6yrs) and a 6 month old. It only cost us $4 for an entire day of fun! We brought a picnic lunch. Lots of friendly mommas to talk to! Plenty of shaded covered picnic areas, and some grassy areas where other moms had set up those kid tents. Love that they have a lifeguard on duty and that its gated. Very clean and the young staff was wonderful!!!!! To the girl at the front who microwaved some water in a cup for me to warm a bottle, you are a sweetheart! Thank you!

What a hidden gem! Such a nice little splash pad tucked away. You pay for a day pass and you can come and go as you please.

Held our baby's 2-year-old birthday party here. Super kid friendly, and wonderfully refreshing. At $1/person, you can't beat admission!

The playground was really nice and my daughter had fun playing there. They have a good picnic structure lots of grassy area for picnic or sports all around Goode Park lots of parking.

I think their slogan should be "O'Kane Park: Not Nearly As Sketchy As You'd Think."…read more Or is it just me that thinks that rhyming your park with the name of an illegal controlled substance was a bad idea? At any rate, I've seen some sketchy, skeevy parks in the Denver Metro area, and I'm happy to report that-- despite it's poor choice in monikers-- O'Kane park is NOT one of them. The play structure? IS AWESOME. It's remarkably graffiti-free (no small feat on the West Si-yeeeed) and big enough so that even when it's crawling with ankle-biters on a sunny Saturday afternoon, the kids have room to roam. There are slides for every age and bravery-level, plus lots of tunnels, rings, bridges, and poles. If you happen to fall off any of these things, you'll land in some soft, clean wood chips. Nice! Aside from the playground, there are covered picnic/BBQ areas (available to reserve, if need be), plus ACRES of green field space, walking trails, tennis and basketball courts, and a little pond. Dogs do need to be on leash here, and most people respect that. Of note: the place can be crawling with Bitchy Belmar Mommies. Last time I was there, my 19-month-old had the AUDACITY to touch another kid's sippy cup (the horror!). BBM came swooping in, antibacterial wipe in hand, nose all out of joint and practically busting a vein in her forehead. "Sorry," I said, casually (because it was REALLY no big deal), "he's in that 'grab everything' stage." I didn't mention that when you bring a brightly-colored wagon full of toys and sippy cups to a public playground and park it right next to the slides, you really can't expect other kids NOT to take an interest in it. "Well!" BBM huffed at me," MY kids are preemies, and they just recently got over being sick, so..." In that "..." were implied the words: "keep your filthy kid's germy hands off my stuff." Um, hello? A) You're at a public playground, and that big ol' jungle gym your darlings are climbing upon has WAY more germs on it than my kid's hands ever will. And B) your kids are like, FOUR FREAKIN' YEARS OLD. If you're still playing the preemie card, you have some serious issues, lady. Anyhow, Bitchy Belmar Mommies notwithstanding, O'Kane Park is a pretty cool place. Check it out!
