I've been going to CAC for about 3 years now and love the offerings at Tabor Center. They have really ramped up the classes, offering a great schedule that works for morning people, mid-day people and evening times. You can always find a class except late evening. The selection is good too with a nice variety from weights (BodyPump) to a few different types of yoga to HIIT (HRT) to cardio and dance. The locker rooms are decently equipped and the saunas are nice. The little cafe always smells divine with coffee and light bites for those who don't have time to eat breakfast before coming or who need lunch. My only complaints are that they now charge $40 for a guest pass when it used to be free once a quarter to bring someone. I also wish the floors and mats in the BodyPump and yoga rooms were cleaner. read more

I've been a member of CAC for over a year now. I joined primarily to work with a trainer as I've had many injuries and want to get stronger in a safe manner. They offer different levels of trainers so you can choose what you want. They have several locations and I've been enjoying the downtown Denver one. It's very clean and professional with a good variety of workout equipment. The original location on Monaco is clearly older with a less convenient layout, but has a great outdoor pool for summer as well as indoor and outdoor tennis courts. They have other locations as well. You do have to deal with a parking timeframe at the downtown location, so it's hard to train for an hour and say, swim at the indoor pool as well in the same session if you want to relax in between, as 2.5 hours of parking is subsidized by the Club but a minute over will cost you the full parking garage amount. Still as long as you keep an eye on the clock it's usually doable. read more

I've been going here for 10+ years. From the day I started going until today, I've had the same complaint: No online account management. To update payment, you have to write out your credit card information on a paper form, hand it to them, and trust that information is stored safely. Multiple times, the form gets "lost" or doesn't make it in the system in time for the billing to happen, which causes fees. And when that happens you have to call membership accounting to get it sorted. We put a man on the moon and this high-priced club can't possibly figure out how to do online self-service account management and secure, web-based billing? When you call membership accounting, some disgruntled, unpleasant woman answers (literally every time), argues with you, and makes the whole process even more difficult. This company is poorly managed, high priced, and treats members like garbage. Lifetime would be a better bet if you're looking to shell out a decent monthly sum for a clean workout environment. read more

I cancelled my membership in April (verbal and written). Now, in October (7 months later), I get a notice in the mail stating that I owe them $140 and I must pay or they will send to debt collector. I used to go to the Wewatta location... that location closed; now I guess they're stealing money from past members??? To make it worse, when I called into Wellbridge Athletic Club Corporate Office to get this straightened out, the person was rude and condescending; and wouldn't remove the charge. I have no choice but to pay because I don't want this to impact my credit score. I see very similar reviews written about this gym. Save yourself and find another gym. read more

PRO: Pricing is on point, especially with a company discount. CON: Still was about $60/month. PRO: Large, spacious work out space - equipped with many exercise machines (with tvs!), weights and a perfect area to get stretch and finish a work out. CON: Area fills up fast, mainly during lunch hours and after 4pm. PRO: Staff is friendly, accommodating and always there to help. CON: They are few and far between if you need them, at that moment. PRO: Locker rooms are decked out with curling irons, plenty of hair dryers, makeup stations, tv's, etc... CON: Go after 1pm or before 8am and you're golden! PRO: Free classes - cycle, zumba, barre and anything of your choice! CON: They fill up fast, as they are coveted! PRO: Location is prime, located right in the heart of downtown Denver, with a killer view. CON: Parking is extremely limited, as the Tabor Center is home to plenty of businesses and offices. You're better off walking! PRO: Smoothies, salads and healthy options offered at their "cafe". CON: Prices are a bit steep, but what do you expect at a place like this? PRO: Upscale, elite feeling, when being a member - as there are plenty of perks! Colorado Athletic Club, Union Station is a gift to the area. Though small, in comparison to some of its sister properties, it is perfect for a great workout with all of the amenities of a much larger club. A highlight of the gym, is walking out of the elevator and being greeted with a smile at the front desk. Jade, in particular, is always welcoming and warm. A greeting like this raises my energy and jumpstarts my workout. read more

These guys are a rip off!!! Don't sign up with them. A guy named Sam who worked there sold me a monthly package at a certain price and then charged me $50 more a month. When I told him about it he said he would fix it. He never did. Then I went back two more times to fix the overcharging and he pleaded with me not to tell his boss and he never fixed it. Now the people there won't cancel my memebership and keep overcharging me. It is a nightmare. The phone number they give me to dispute it is no good. Nobody answers the phone. I've been an off again, on again member of CAC and I believe it is the best gym in Colorado. It is always clean, the men's locker room is meticulous. It is a little pricier than most, but when you add in fresh towels and toiletries, it's worth it. Like any gym, you're going to run into crowds during mornings, lunch and after work. Fred, the front desk person knows everyone in the club and makes you always feel welcome. Fred makes time to not only say hi but have a full conversation with me everyday. Very friendly staff, convenient location in the middle of the city. With that said, the equipment is rather old in comparison to any gym I've been to. First off the front desk is wonderful as long as Fred or Jason are working it. The rest of the staff is stiff as cardboard. The equipment is usually working and pretty clean. Locker rooms are nice. This review is mainly off of the scam of services and blaming it on others instead of taking responsibility. If you go to there website then scroll down to massage it clearly states massage per hour $65 Now the brochures they have laying around are also stating the same thing. Guess what, it's out dated and they are going to charge you $75 an hour. Which is not a big deal for there massage staff is amazing!!! Yet the pre natal massage is $65 an hour.see pic. Front desk needs to be knowledgeable However when I went to pay the lady tried to say it's there IT depts fault. "Are you freaking kidding me?" No!! it's your fault, IT only changes the prices when you submit to them the price change it's your marketing/HR fault. Again do not blame something on someone else. Take responsibility. The gym is pretty small for what they are charging a monthly fee. It's as as if, they feel entitled. I only go here because it's close to home. It's as if someone had an exuberant amount of money and opened a gym as a social experiment to be run by a bunch of self entitled brats running the front desk, who have never had a job and couldn't handle the real world. read more

After being a member, let alone supporting this business throughout the pandemic, Let me tell you the price of this gym does not equate the level of customer service you get. I was month to month membership, on the first of July I called to cancel the membership, employees working told me membership team wasn't in. Called back another day, the 7th, was told to reach the membership team by email. I sent the email on the 8th. I am now being charged $100 for August, a month I'm not even there because some BS policy that I didn't submit written notice of cancellation on the 1st, despite my previous attempts to call and get this sorted. You'd think at these prices you'd get first rate customer service. Absolute disappointment read more

This is seriously one of the nicest, cleanest, accommodating gyms I've been too. My gf is a member, but she had a free pass. So I decided to join her in sweating out last night's debauchery. It was a no frills process. Sometimes, you just want to get a work out in with a friend in another gym although one might already have their gym membership like me. I just filled out a form with my info and was set lose with a locker card to work out. No one felt compelled to annoy me with the "required gym tour". NICE. What's great about this gym is how clean it is, the top of the line machinery and of course the lofty ceilings, the fancy water drop wall and juice/coffee/pastry counter. -so posh... The locker room is extremely clean too! Go figure, there is a lady who hangs out in there and keeps it that way. They have plenty of toiletries available too for those having to shower or clean up after a work out too. It looks like there is a sauna and a steam room too. -maybe a pool... I'm not sure. A fancy spot to work out like this costs though. It's located conveniently downtown and within walking distance to downtown residences. I'm sure I'll end up here next time I come out to visit my friend. read more
