I had bamboo flooring installed almost 2 years ago. I've had problems with it almost since day one…read moredue to poor installation, and Lowes refuses to send someone out other than the installer to look at the issue. So I guess it's my fault that the planks are separating and not because they weren't glued together properly. There were other areas that were easy to get to, that the installer re-glued, and those ares are fine, but they don't want to fix the worst area because it would be too much work to get to it. I highly recommend NOT using Lowes for flooring installs. Terrible work, and terrible customer service!!

I would however recommend an internal review of fair shipping costs to Hawaii within your company so that this won't happen again. Perhaps a tab that allows ground advantage via USPS as an option.
