The main emphasis of the class is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu but we work on a lot of other martial arts as well. I was nervous the first time I went but that feeling was gone after the first class. The environment is very positive. Everybody in class is friendly and very helpful when your having trouble learning a new technique. Mr. Darrow is very patient and friendly. He breaks down every technique to the point that anybody can understand the mechanics. All in all its a great gym with a very positive environment. Coming from a big city my gym is huge and no one really cares and its pack and tons of machines. This is the complete opposite which I totally love. Talking to people here it is like family, everyone know each other and everyone is there to work out not flirt like other locations I have been to. There are a number of people that are more then happy to help you out if you ask. This is a great location and I love it for sure. The owner is also a former Kick Boxer and at the look of him he works out a lot and when someone told me his age I was in complete shock.
