Be forewarned.... if anything does not turn out as planned, you, the customer, will be paying for…read moreit. We replaced 2 countertops, with 2 identical sinks and faucets. The sinks were discontinued, so they sent one of the old model and one new one. We were assured the difference in the look of the sinks would be barely noticeable. WRONG! They are both undermount sinks, the sink walls should be flush with the countertop cutout. When installed, the new sink looked great....however the discontinued sink was installed with an overhang of 1/2 inch all around. That does not look good and they certainly do not look the same, even from across the room. But this was not the countertop installers fault nor the sink manufacturer's fault, nor SK Cabinetry's fault.... but became ours...the customer. WHAT?? If we wanted the sinks/counters to look alike we would have to pay for the new countertop and probably a new sink (for the second time). Even the guy that did our tile backsplash was appalled in the way it looked and that SK did not make it right. In the end we have a very disappointing outcome and will not be using them again.

Darren lied was verbally abusive when questioned about the very unprofessional and unacceptable job he did. He did not power wash the house prior to painting as promised. Someone was home all day the day he claimed to have been there power washing the house. He wasn't there. He rushed the job and painted wood siding the day after two days of heavy rain and a day before he told us he would be there so no one was home. The paint job was sloppy and incomplete with many spots simply not painted at all. The paint spray was all over things that should have been covered (the fence, tools in the garage, the concrete patio). Plants were ripped up and paint was sprayed all over the yard. He used personal property that was in the garage without permission and left these items outside or in the yard when he left without offering to replace items no longer usable. He started demanding payment before we were home and able to assess the job he had done. Darren made excuses, lied, was bullying and abusive when confronted about the problems with his work (swearing at and angrily threatening my daughter). He was asked to leave the property because of his behavior and was paid for a job he didn't complete. I would give Dedicated Painting and Darren a no star rating if that were possible. Update: Since writing this review initially, as predicted, the paint has already started to wash off places on the house. We had to repaint many places that were missed and clean paint off places that should've been protected. So sad.

The employee from KBD who came and finished the job for us and fix the mess left by Henry's Painting & Contracting was appalled by what he saw. They used PARTICLE BOARD to build our cupboards! Their crew left a pile of their trash on our deck for us to clean up. They also ruined my step stool when they left it covered in paint, because apparently they couldn't bring their own step stool??? They were supposed to replace my step stool and of course that didn't happen. They have removed my pictures before so I am posting them again so others can see for themselves and make a well informed decision about if they want to give their hard earned money to this unscrupulous company. Lastly, after all the delays, lies and poor work, they kept $7500 of our money that we paid in advance for the kitchen remodel which they refused to finish. The driver stopped, then said he could plow out my driveway quickly if I would move the car in it. We have a 3 stall garage and the driveway was pretty well drifted in. I backed the car out and he made quick work of it. What a blessing! As far as being heaven-sent, not more than a minute before Meeks arrived, I ran over a buried newspaper that completely jammed my snowblower chute! When I have a construction project in the future, I am calling Meeks in Tipton, Iowa. Thank you Meeks!!!
