It was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with Nicolette. She makes the whole experience so easy from start to finish from our first message to discuss the details through our fabulous glam session in her amazing studio. I am naturally a shy person but she has such a knack for putting people at ease. Her warmth, positivity, and effervescence is infectious. She makes you so comfortable. I really felt like I was spending time with an old friend.
I was nervous prior to getting my makeup done professionally for the first time for my son's birthday party. I always did my own makeup, even for my wedding. I had so many reasons to say no. As a Mom you often put yourself on the back burner. I would feel guilty leaving my kids and taking time for myself. This event, I finally promised myself I would treat myself to pampering. Nicolette knew that while I was ready to take a little risk and do something out of character. I still wanted to feel like myself. Looking over her portfolio photos, I was able to find the perfectly feminine, pastel, ethereal, fairy tale princess type look I believed would suit my son's Mickey themed party.
While my infant son was the star of the show. With the glamorous look Nicolette gave me, I was definitely a very, very close second. I felt so fantastic throughout the whole event. My makeup was impeccable and stayed flawless all day long. It may sound dramatic, but I think women understand that to us it's much more than makeup. Nicolette is a truly brilliant and gifted artist. What she is giving us women is confidence and the ability to be seen outside of our role as wife and mother. My husband has known me for over twenty years and he was gobsmacked by my transformation. He couldn't get over how big, bright, and shining my eyes looked. He kept gushing over me and praising Nicolette's talents. She created a stunning look which is the perfect realization of the way I envisioned myself feeling at my son's first birthday. She made my dreams come true. I felt like Cinderella, the Belle of the Ball. And that feeling is priceless and one I will surely not forget. I will have the amazing pictures and the extraordinary memories to cherish for a lifetime.
So many of my female guests went out of their way to remark and comment on my appearance. Everyone wanted to know: Did I do it myself, did I have it done, and most importantly who did it. She certainly impressed everyone, including my MIL, hehe. The MIL Seal of Approval, what more can you ask for?
