They eventually had to cut a hole in my wall just to fix the issue. I also had a black mold issue in my shower that I reported through work orders for over 10 months, yet it was never properly addressed or resolved until I had already moved out. Then, after moving out, I was charged around $900 to repaint the entire apartment simply because I had used thumbtacks to hang pictures and frames. Those are small, normal marks that I believe fall under ordinary wear and tear, not damage that should justify repainting every wall. After everything I dealt with during my time there, being charged hundreds of dollars for what I consider normal wear and tear is extremely frustrating.
