In fact, on some days, she's my favorite person on the planet. Sally is a Reiki practitioner as well as a nutritionist, and I have to admit that I wasn't sure I even believed in Reiki but I was very willing to explore it. Though I originally went to her for a nutritional consultation, we actually ended up skipping that part (after an introductory discussion) and going right to the energy work (the equivalent of treating a disease instead of just the symptoms). The providers there are incredibly caring, warm and I never felt rushed at my appointments. I highly recommend Dr Casey and Heather Milovina - they are both incredible, so competent and skilled and kind. Out of the 6 providers, I felt totally comfortable with 5 out of 6 of them - which is pretty great! I gave birth a few weeks ago and had a very positive experience thanks to the wonderful people at Malama. Dr Casey was my doctor who delivered my baby, and I felt 100% confident and comfortable with him, knowing I was in great hands. Heather was there the next day, which was great, because I was seeing her the most during my prenatal visits (she is an incredible midwife), and she has a wonderful presence about her - she cares so much about her patients, and you feel completely comfortable in her care. I would highly recommend Malama if you are pregnant, I think they are the best on the island as far as prenatal care and caring about women's birth experiences.
