I was in Fargo for the weekend and my sister took me here. We definitely came back multiple times over the weekend. I don't know much about Fargo, but I was pleasantly surprised at this place and was glad to have this as an option. I recommend the sushi burritos, I mixed it up a couple times and they were all good. Anything you get will hit the spot. There are a lot of options to choose from. I never thought sushi burritos existed... With that being said, it was so good!!! When my fiancé and I walked in, we mentioned it was our first time, and the staff was incredibly helpful. They explained the menu and all the customizations you can make with either changing the sauces or adding more sauces for example. The burritos were flavorful and filling. We also ordered the Takoyaki which is crispy fried dough with a piece of octopus in the middle, but it was okay. I wasn't expecting the texture to be soft and a little bit gooey inside but it tasted super good especially with the sauce on top! This place has amazing sauces. The cafe was cute too! Make sure to take a photo next to the giant Pikachu at one of the tables if you stop by :) If you're into taking aesthetic photos, this is the place for you. read more

This place is one of my all-time favorites! And the people running it are extremely sweet!

My boyfriend and I first tried this place a few months ago and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, and the ambience gave us a nostalgic feel, reminding us of being back in California. However, on our recent visit, it didn't quite live up to the high standards we experienced the first time. The flavors were still good--the fish tasted fresh--but the rice-to-fish ratio was off, and the rice itself was a bit hard (possibly day-old rice?). Despite that, I'd still give it 4 stars. Would I recommend it? Yes. Would I go back? Yes. read more

Sushi Burrito sounds a lot better than it is, and the Sushi Burrito Cafe itself LOOKS better than it is.. sorry, but it's a 2-1 overthrow here, and the odds aren't looking great. But, it's still not bad by any standards. I mean, I still gave them 4 stars as you can see and I wouldn't just do that for no reason. Only, I've had sushi burritos at other places before, and they are way better than the one I tried here. Fargo just struggles with its sushi, and what else could you expect from a land locked frozen tundra with few people? I just love the cafe itself- it's dreamy, it's sparkly, it's relaxing and it's aesthetic. Superb for sitting down to eat and enjoy the space. I got one of the spicy burritos, and MAN was it spicy. Hot dang! I can take a lot of spice and I love spice, but this was too much to be honest. And I felt that the seaweed wrap was too sticky and the texture just wasn't quite right. But you also have the option of getting a regular tortilla wrap if you don't want seaweed. Thought it's a nice option, it just seemed weird to me. We also got boba, because of course a sushi burrito joint would serve bubble tea too! I really enjoyed that- but the boba was a tad too soft, it was almost just melt in your mouth, and anyone who's had boba a lot knows it should be more chewy and a bit solid. It's a delicate balance. But overall I'd definitely come back and 100% enjoy it! Just maybe getting something slightly less spicy, lol. read more

Was in town for a week and decided to try out all the poke/sushi places within a three mile radius and found this place. Loved that they had asian snacks sold on the side! Got the takoyaki and the poke bowl, and both were really good! Takoyaki was crunchy on the outside and nice and pillowy on the inside, even after a few minutes of walking back to the hotel. The poke bowl here was SO good! Love that they had so many options for the toppings, and you can choose as many as you want! I told them I wanted a little bit of everything, and y'know, I never thought kimchi would go well in a poke bowl but it worked in this bowl. For 14$, you get a pretty decent sized bowl too. If I'm ever in town again, I'd definitely go back! read more

I can't explain how excited we were to have a sushi burrito spot in Fargo! When people think of a sushi burrito, they believe it to be an item with too much going on, it's actually the perfect meal. It's easy to hold, can eat anywhere on the go, and has the perfect amount of sushi filling and rice. I can't think of a more perfect food for lunch. They have vegan options also if you are not a raw fish fan, we opted for the no fishes option due to my stomach being sensitive that day, and my husband ordered the All fishes given roll, which was stuffed with ahi, salmon, edamame. They also share shop with a boba cafe if you want to hit up your milk tea craving. We also got to meet the owner who is t from Thailand and grew up in Minneapolis.
