Absolutely delicious. Happy hour is the best. You can't find a better happy hour than 1/2 off sushi rolls! Their happy hour also goes from 11am-7pm Mon-Thurs and 11am-5pm fri&sat.. that's a fricken long happy hour! The quality of sushi here is amazing. Way better than sushi garden, sushi on oracle, i luv sushi, sushi hama, and sushi king. BEST sushi restaurant in Tucson hands down. My absolute favorite roll is spicy tuna. Usually I never get spicy tuna or california rolls at most sushi restaurants, but their spicy tuna is SO GOOD! There a little chunks of fresh tuna mixed in. It also isn't very spicy, but they always have a bottle of sriracha on the table so I can just add more. Though I go here a lot because my friends like it, I really don't. Their free salad is minuscule, the edemame is mushy and old, miso soup is eh and the service sucks sometimes. Without the above shortcomings, I would say Sushi Ten has a 3.5 star rating based on the decor and food quality. The cool boats are fun to eat your sushi off of, especially when you do the All You Can Eat with a large group. I REALLY don't see how people could give this place a 5 star rating. MEH read more

Not a bad price for sushi, but it is not my favorite. The atmosphere is alright and it took an hour to get our all you can eat sushi. The male server we had was really nice and kind, but the rest of the staff wasn't as accommodating. We did all you can eat, which is okay. But honestly, unless you plan on eating a LOT of sushi, go during their extensive happy hour. Everything is 1/2 off and since everything is included on the all you can eat menu, it doesn't really matter which you choose. The one tip I will really push, don't order the Vegas Tempura roll. You'll be dissapointed. It's not only so massive you need to eat it in two bites, but the tempura is soggy. Overall, I'd go back. However, it wouldn't be my first pick for a sushi place. read more

Quite, nice upbeat music, staff was great l, and social distancing is in effect. I have an avocado allergy and they worked great around it, making sure to sanitize well. The sushi was very tasty and other sauces were available. Waitress was attentive and knew the menu well, answered all my families questions. I didn't see a kids menu however, they made a small portion of chicken fried rice and that went over extremely well. read more

After Sushi King closed down and Sushi Hama was sold and become mediocre, it was not easy to see who would emerge as the top dog in sushi restaurants. A lot of people I used to see frequent the above places started going to Sushi Garden- they are fine but are basically the McDonald's of sushi (priced fine and convenient locations). Sushi Ten has begun to stand out. The sushi is great, but I must say service will be hit or miss. Grab a seat and hope for the best-at the very least your meal will taste fantastic. read more

Sushi Ten is one of the best sushi places in Tucson besides Sushi Garden and Azian. You can't go wrong with Fresh and affordable sushi. I've been a regular since 2013 and their customer service is fantastic! I'll be coming back until I get stationed somewhere else! read more

I am a big fan of sushi and had heard about Sushi Ten from a couple of friends so decided to go and try it out. The ambience was really quite plain and perhaps not as clean as I would like from a sushi restaurant but decided to stay nonetheless. I ordered some edamame and a boat of sushi to try a variety of rolls and nigiri. The edamame came out warm but they weren't all that hot either. My miso soup was included with the sushi and was really quite good, with the green onions adding good flavor and being served piping hot. The sushi eventually came out and was just alright, although I could tell the fish wasn't all that fresh and had more of a fishy smell than I'm used to from other restaurants. I will say that the rolls were good size but my overall experience with the quality of fish would make it difficult for me to want to come back. I have heard a lot of people say that it was considerably better several years ago and I'll have to take their word for it. read more

I really enjoy the lunch specials here - great prices for good sushi. Lunch time can get a little busy but the staff always hustles to get people seated and served. I come here often for lunch and am always pleased with both the service and food quality. The servers are friendly and quick to bring miso soup and edamame or salad, which many places in town don't offer for free with your meal. I'm not a raw fish gal, so I stick mainly to rolls. They're consistently good, well rolled (don't fall apart when eating), and well priced. They have a happy hour daily from 11 - 7 weekdays and 11 - Friday and Saturday with half price sushi, a great deal. Never again. I had THE WORST craving for sushi. Like, I've been wanting it for days kind of craving. Sushi-Ten is less than five minutes from home and the reviews seemed good so I put my order in. Kind you, I'm pregnant so everything I ordered was fried just to be safe, but it was all stuff I've had in other places and loved. ANYWAY, I ordered a Vegas roll (tempura), fried California roll, fried salmon roll, and the Mexican roll. I forced down a couple pieces of each simply because I hate to waste food but couldn't bring myself to eat more than that. The tune, the salmon, all of it tasted like it was straight out of a can! The tempura wasn't fried enough and had no flavor. The most palatable roll was the Mexican and I think that's only because the jalapeño did a good job of covering up the flavor of the "salmon". I'd be disappointed on a regular day, but being completely disappointed while pregnant is a whole other sadness I wouldn't wish on anyone. Oh well... I tried. read more

This is one of my go-to 'comfort food' spots in Tucson. Fast service, frieking *awesome* happy hour, cozy little place.

My most recent visits in the last month have sadly been declining in quality from when I first reviewed this place. My main issue is that their rice has been consistently poor the last two visits. Bad rice makes bad sushi. They are still better than the other AYCE/ happy hour places I've tried in Tucson, but they are no longer worth 4 stars. They also no longer serve salad or edamame for happy hour customers, though you still get miso soup. I hope they can fix their rice by the time I come back. read more

I love this place it's always my go-to sushi spot. The happy hour is unbeatable and the atmosphere is wonderful. I go there so often they know me and my whole family. Wonderful place to go for sushi. My fav is the Philadelphia roll and Alaska roll. Great thing is you don't have to pay extra for the edamame and miso soup they give you. I'm an avid sushi eater and this has to be the worst sushi I've ever had. The calamari rings are small and OVERfried. (it's not fried tempura style like how I'm used to. It's fried like how a country fried steak is fried) I ordered the Vegas roll and it's completely tasteless. Went in tonight ,haven't been here in years . I dont know how this passes as good sushi ,this was horrible at best . Ive eaten sushi all over the world . The ginger was warm and old and they gave me enough to choke a horse . Th unagi was cold,it's always served warm, with some sort of clear sauce that was very plain . The rainbow roll was like we used to make in the dorm.The green mussels were 2 pathetic things on some lettuce ,wish I took a pic , the mayo sauce was gross . Waited over ten minutes for wait staff to take my drink order. Ordered basic sushi Hamachi (yellow tail) and Saba (mackerel) for appetizer. The hamachi was warm ( sushi should always be cold to control bacteria growth) and the hamachi was actually gaping ( when the segments of the protein break away and leave spaces in the protein which is an indicator that the fish is not fresh). The Saba was also warm and had a strong off flavor. For the main course I ordered chicken curry and was surprised how little flavor it had. On a positive note I enjoyed my Sapporo beer (it's bottled so it's hard for them to screw it up. I did bring up the issue with the sushi to the management and they comped me for it. We have been dinning at Sushi Ten for over 10 years. The food & service is always wonderful! My mother has a few sever food allergies but when ever we visit, they are careful in their preparation of her food; they even remember her order every time. This was my first visit, but it won't be my last! I was greeted warmly by the hostess and promptly seated. The waitress was over very shortly thereafter, and was very helpful to a first-time visitor. I asked her to explain about the menu and about the all-you-can-eat sushi, which she did, in detail. I told her I would look at the menu, having decided on the all-you-can-eat, and would order in a few minutes. She offered me a beverage, and when I asked to see the list, she told me about the different choices available. I opted for my favorite, a white zinfandel, but they were out. She recommended the plum wine, which I took. It was wonderful! I ordered the California Roll with Masago, the Dragon Roll and a roll with the tempura crumbles on the top, the name of which I now forget. The presentation was beautiful, with the three rolls coming on a fairly large sushi boat. Everything was fresh and the flavor was fantastic! I wanted to try the Rainbow Roll, but there is cream cheese in it, and I am severely lactose intolerant. When I asked the waitress about it, she said it could be made to order. I found that to be delightful, also. During my visit, there were other wait staff that stopped by my table to see if there was anything I needed. Over all, the cost was very reasonable for what I had. Pros: Excellent food, good service, clean and comfortable atmosphere. Cons: Not many, except they could give more ginger and wasabi with each order. I would recommend this restaurant. read more

Great sushi prices during happy hour. Although, if you get all you can eat and order the nigiri, they will give you more rice than if you were to order from the regular menu. I guess it is their way to prevent you from eating too much. And you cannot leave any uneaten rive with AYCE. read more

This has been the best sushi restaurant in Tucson! I have been a sushi lover since a really young age and have tried sushi in almost every state I have been. The service is amazing here and the fish is always fresh. They also offer treats and drinks from Japan!!! The main reasons I find this restaurant so appealing is the family friendly atmosphere, perfectly proportioned and cut fish within the rolls and the best tasting miso soup available. IF YOU'RE KOREAN AVOID THIS PLACE. I don't use yelp to give negative comments, but I feel the need to vent about a speechless experience I had at this place. We had ayce and we had three pieces of roll leftover at our table which we didnt even order. they brought us three kinds of roll that we didnt order and never brought us the rolls we ordered. owner had charged us the full price of the roll we didnt finish as a penalty and we didnt even bother to argue because it was just speechless.. WHEN WE WERE LEAVING THE OWNER TALKED TO US (IN KOREAN) IM ALWAYS EMBARRASSED TO SERVE TO KOREAN CUSTOMERS IN FRONT OF MY WHITE CUSTOMERS BECAUSE KOREANS ALWAYS DON'T FINISH THEIR FOOD. LOVE! My favorite new place for happy hour and all-you-can-eat sushi in Tucson. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi in the world, but probably trumps Sushi Garden any day. When we came here on a Saturday afternoon, it was hardly crowded (comparably, Sushi Garden's wait would probably be 10-15 min). Well that can't be a good sign, sushi here must suckk... I am glad that I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't even do their AYCE--priced at $20--because the happy hour is completely ridiculous (half off all rolls from 11-5pm or 7pm depending on day). Unlike Sushi Garden, their AYCE is not limited to certain rolls, so I definitely look forward to coming back. I got a Spicy Cali roll for $2.50, a dragon roll (reverse caterpillar), and a soft shell crab and the total--including tip and tax-- was less than $15. I was a happy camper :D Staff was also very patient with our slower-than-usual party, something that would not be tolerated at other places. This was a great place to celebrate; my old roommate had just gotten engaged and we were gossiping and admiring her new bling! read more

My stepson and I went here Friday night after his basketball game. I was kinda expecting this joint to be packed, but hardly anyone was sitting at the sushi bar. I was surprised, although it has been more than a decade since I've been here. 5 or 6 tables were taken, but for sure this place was slow for a Friday night. Memory does couch things, I believe. It's easier on your head. But I remember this place was the bomb. Packed, happy, beautiful people, laughter, sake, and huge ass pieces of delicious fish. Now Sushi Ten seems like a run down sad dirty soft shell crab of its former self. Smaller sushi, unhappy sushi chefs, scant decent looking fish in the case. It was sushi, but Fry's Grocery has sushi. I wanted the experience. The beautiful Japanese waitresses that giggled like dolphins. Sushi chefs that would do shots of sake with you and shout out "Kampai!" Man, I guess it's not 2003 anymore. Happy hour is great. The first time I got the bill I though it was a mistake ($13 for four rolls, no way). I actually told the waitress that she made some kind of mistake. The rolls are good, mostly just the standard ones. The owners/staff are all very friendly. The vibe is good, younger collegey crowd with good music.
