Really wanted to love this place -- it's a small, local sushi spot with a loyal crowd and super friendly service. Our waitress even went out of her way to hand-make a chili for us when we asked for more spice (which was such a nice touch). That said, the food itself fell a little flat. The dishes I tried just lacked flavor and depth -- nothing particularly bad, just not very memorable. On the bright side, they do offer a ton of vegetarian and vegan options, which is great for plant-based diners. Overall, it's a decent choice if you're nearby, but not one I'd go out of my way for.

Not much customer service walking in. We were directed to a table and sat there for a while before they brought menus. Drinks orders were also slow. The food did are quickly. We ordered 7 rolls and they were good. The restaurant was bigger than I thought.

For some reason I never experienced very good service here so I take my food to go. The place is super casual and not as clean as some other sushi places in town, however sushi here is pretty good. I ordered a squid salad which had a lot of flavor, Oregon roll was fresh and tasty. Their eel unagi is amazing

We got 3 high chairs and all 3 were very sticky and dirty. We left them out for her to clean and the waitress literally told us to put them back. I told her they needed to be cleaned before putting them back. She started making a scene and telling all the other customers around we were rude and got all the high chairs out and didn't put them back. I asked her to stop being rude and watch her attitude. She responded if you don't like it, you can leave. So we left. So disappointed, as we were regulars there and ate at that place at least once or twice a week. Never returning to that place for as long as that waitress works there.

I have been wanting to stop by and try them out for a while now I'm glad my son decided to take us here for dinner. It's a very happening place. It was extremely busy, but the staffing was very nice and kind and prompt and letting us know that they'll be clearing a table for us promptly. A little bit of a wait but the food is well worth the wait times, when our food arrived all came out so fresh hot and delicious , full of flavor. Most items are priced for what you would expect at a sit down restaurant . Both of our waitresses were extremely friendly and provided fast service. Will definitely return for more

Super fresh, super tasty, awesome staff, best sushi in Tucson, hands down! They also make rolls with no rice for me!

Menu is all I got a photo cuz the service took so long!

Sushi's not all that great, it's good but not great either. We've given this place a couple of chances but the service every time we go gets worse, even on a slow day the service draaaags, it's like they forget they have customer. The place is clean and well maintained and for that, a two stars.

    Unagi don...my favorite here.

For authentic Japanese cuisine on the East side, Sachiko is my go-to spot. Conveniently located next to Trader Joe's on Wilmot and Speedway, it's the place my family turns to for takeout whenever we're craving Japanese food. My personal favorites are the salmon kama and unagi--both consistently prepared to perfection. The restaurant is often full, so plan ahead for a little wait, whether dining in or picking up takeout, but it's always worth it. I also love the mom-and-pop feel, with pictures of their dishes displayed all around the restaurant, which adds to the charm. With friendly service and food that has been reliably delicious over the years, Sachiko has truly become a neighborhood gem.

This a great local place, our new go to for sushi! The service is quick and the food is always good. We love the charm of the restaurant, with several of the signs being handwritten in Japanese. Only downside is not a large sashimi selection.

As an update...I come here often. Today service was slow and inconsistent. They did not serve us miso soup today! I like their soups and sushi's.

Everything was good and since I was not able to finish my meal(I didn't know that the large portion was probably meant for two people not one, lol) I had more than half of my leftover for another meal. We will definitely revisit this place. I do have one small "complaint" about the sauce used on the chicken & beef bowl... it was very very salty. Like extremely salty. Otherwise the food was good. The meat was tender and the rice was tasty. Maybe the sauce can be served on the side or use less (sodium) for people like me that have a very sensitive palate. Just a suggestion! The bill was about $45. Simple fast food restaurant ambience, nothing fancy. We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time of our visit but I did see two customers coming in for pickup orders. Not busy at all. Maybe it gets busy at the end of the week or weekends.

The amount of sushi you get compared to cost makes it very affordable. The plating is amazing as you can see in the photos. We opted for the combos which come with several pieces of sushi and some come with sashimi as well and rolls. The cuts of sushi were large and fresh. There was wasabi and ginger if you enjoy those. The rolls were creative and delicious. Our favorite was Ni Bistro roll followed by the Emerald. The sushi"wich" was very creative and looked like a sandwich. The Ni Bistro was full of flavor and had a lot of pieces. Overall, we highly recommend this new find on the Northwest side!

It was pretty busy when we arrived and they only had one waitress and the bartender. The bartender, Felicia, jumped in to help the other waitress. The Tuna Tataki was very tasty and quite a lot for one order. The chicken solo was very tasty also. We had to order the smoked salmon sashimi due to being out of the plain salmon, but it was still delish. The Japanese bagel roll aka Philly roll tasted much better than last time. This was not what we expected but the staff was friendly and 1/2 patrons at the food hall were eating sushi. The stalls have big energy today and lots of patrons are searching for a seat. Why not give them a chance? The menu is fairly varied for a small pop-up with traditional and deep fried sushi rolls. The female wait staff is handing out egg drop soup samples to everyone, ever those eating pizza and gyros. Looking around, these rolls are huge. We chose the Sonoran roll with shrimp tempora, spicy tuna, spicy crab topped with seared salmon and yuzu sauce. This roll was flavorful and spicy. Another roll was the Samurai with shrimp tempora, cream cheese, avacado wrapped in soy paper deep fried and covered with spicy crab / shrimp mix baked in a spicy aioli and eel sauce. This was our favorite roll with a pop in the tempora shrimp and an uncious taste coupled with a bite. Our third and final roll was the heart attack. Another spicy roll with shrimp tempora, avacado, cream cheese topped with jalepeno, spicy crab and chef sauce. Again, another good roll and a ton of food. This food mall is in an unassuming neighborhood with a smiling server who is hustling like crazy. The sushi was good, unique and tasty. It was a huge amount of food.
