My group decided to check this place out after eating at Gitano, which was right across the street. Before even leaving Gitano, you can hear the music from Tora blaring all down the entire street. It was loud and super vibey. This is what you think of, when someone says "Tulum Party." The 6 of us got seated at a table. We only ordered drinks as we had just had dinner. We were then offered some sparklers from some of the staff there. We grabbed them and started dancing on the tables and having the best time of our life. It felt like we were in a music video. We had such a good time!!! While I can't remember the name of the drink I got, it was pretty good. The DJ plays great music, and has everyone moving left to right. This was like a club on steroids. The two downsides I have of this place are that it's extremely expensive. I think my drink cost about $25-$30 USD. That's ridiculous. But you have to expect that if you are on this street. All the places are extremely expensive and you are paying for the experience more than anything. The second downside is that if you go to the restroom while you are here, you will be offered drugs. I think that happened to us on more than one occasion, not only at Tora but everywhere else in Tulum. So just be cautious at all times. Apart from those two things, Tora is a pretty fun spot. I wouldn't go back though, simply because that whole environment is very stressful, it's way too expensive, and the traffic on the street is insane.
