    Absolutely delicious sushi!
    Annika R.

I've been quite a few times to sushilicious by now and some days are better than others. Yesterday was a bit disappointing. The selections wasn't nearly as good as what they usually offer. Prices are kinda high except for the all you can eat lunch deal. Especially wen you're a student. Make sure to bring your student id and present is before ordering the buffet. It's a clean restaurant and the atmosphere is nice. The waiters are very attendees and clear the empty plates regularly. Besides the sushi they offer a regular warm buffet which is tasty as well as a salad and dessert bar. Also they have miso soup and another one for the buffet price which gives you a nice selection of you want to to go with ppl who are not so much into sushi. Overall I would come back!

    3.80€ FOR WATER!!!!!
    Raylynn M.

I am going to be completely honest (the point of a review ami right!) the food was delicious. It tastes amazing and fresh which is a major need when getting sushi. The price was even just right. The reason I only gave it 3 stars you ask well here it is... The service was extremely slow. Which normally I wouldn't care if the place was busy but it wasn't, there were very few people in there so there was no reason to sit us in the corner of the restaurant and forget about us. It took 20 minutes just to get water. (More on the water in just a minute) when we ordered a few more sushi rolls it took 23 minutes for us to get them which was a long time considering the first 2 rolls we ordered only took about 8. I will give them major credit for making a roll for us that was not on the menu. That was fantastic and very nice of them. Remember I said I would talk about water yeah well here is a tip.... BRING YOUR OWN!! We paid 3.80€ PER glass of water. That's right my friends a quarter of our bill was water!! My favorite part is they highlighted that tip was not included on our receipt! You crazy! You just got your damn tip by charging me an excessive amount for a glass of effin water!!! So while I give the food 4 stars I give the service 2 (I am feeling generous with that one) so in total they get 3 stars. Give better service and stop charging so much for water!!!

Sushi rice makes this the best Sushi Buffet in Wiesbaden. The only downside is this place is now very popular and packed.

For those that are curious about why I loved this place, please read on and I hope my words can encourage you to try out their amazing Asian food. I've been to Noir countless times, and it's always been easy to have a table there. Most times, I went in without a reservation, and there were still plenty of seats to choose from. The atmosphere felt calming and touched upon Asian motifs that helped beautify the restaurant, including cherry blossoms and Japanese characters on the walls. Japanese food is my favorite kind of cuisine, and I did live in Japan for a year back in 2020, so I was always up to try the food served at Noir. Many I already recognized and favored highly, such as the gyoza, miso soup, and yakitori chicken. But, I still tried new things like the crunchy sake sushi roll and osaka balls. I'd have to say my favorite dish was the crispy chicken/duck curry bowl. It was rich in flavor with a bed of white rice, vegetables, and coconut curry. It's hard to compete with such a dish. The curry bowl was large enough for me, but be mindful that most of the food on the menu are served in very small portions. You may get three pieces of shrimp tempura at most and a small bowl of soup. Sushi can vary, so I wouldn't be concerned about that, but this is the best place to go to when you want to share your food with friends- similar to tapas. My only gripe would be the drink sizes, as they seem way too small for one person to have. It could be a marketing strategy to get you to order more drinks, but I refused to do that and would have a bottle of water in my purse to get me through the rest of dinner. The service was good, with several English-speaking waiters. You wouldn't feel out of place if you came here with no German speaking abilities, if anything, you'd curse your stomach for not being large enough to consume more delicious food! Noir is a restaurant that I will miss dearly. Their items were well-made, service was nice, location is great if you want to leave afterwards for some dessert (there's many dessert places with cake & ice cream nearby), but most of all, it was an inviting space that allowed me to share beautiful moments with my friends. I taught them how to use chopsticks, some Japanese lingo like what they say before they eat (Itatakimasu!), and my personal favorite memory: I got a very picky eater who was strictly against eating Asian food to LOVE sushi. If you want to create special memories in Germany within a cool establishment with tons of yummy dishes to share, then Noir is the place for you.
