They had a bunch of table games to keep you entertained in case you wanted to hang out I would like to try their guava and other pastries, their Caribbean sandwiches (tripleta, and bistec). Pastries and desserts were looking pretty good. I'd come me back to try, but probably would take it to go. I will try this place out again.

The tamarind still has a spice to it which it shouldn't, tamarind is tart and sour. I guess that's where the misconception of Mexican and Puerto Rican terms collide. I was in the neighborhood the other day so I stopped by. The owner is very nice and helpful. She always has been. I ordered some cookies and pastries to take to my grandparents and to the house. I had this chocolate sugar cookie with sprinkles. It was really good! I didn't know how sweet it would be. It was perfect for me because it wasn't too sweet. It was just right. It was also really crunchy. My favorite Mexican-type pastry is the elote. I don't know if it's really called that but my grandma and mom always called it that. It's long and sugary on the outside. It has lots of red jelly inside of it. It's so good! I also ordered a couple of mini pies in raspberry and pineapple. Not too bad for $5 and change. I'll definitely stop by again.
