Specifically, I tried the Maple Glazed Cronut and it was amazing!!!! They somehow managed to take everything I love about a croissant, perfectly crispy yet soft and flaky layers, and turn it into this incredible doughnut situation. The maple glaze on top was the perfect finishing touch and made the whole thing feel extra indulgent. I also tried the Brioche Berry Lemon Doughnut, which was very tasty. It had plenty of filling with a great balance of berry and lemon, and the outside was pillowy soft with a sugar coating that made every bite even better. Both were delicious in completely different ways, and I already know I will be back to try more. Cal's is definitely a spot worth checking out if you love creative pastries and really well made doughnuts. I suggest getting there earlier if possible to get the best selection as the cashier told me they usually sell out very quickly. I stopped in midday, and there were only a few of the days selections left. There in the old Rocco's building so seating is limited. I didn't grab many pictures of the interior but they have a fun art vibe that's pretty cool - it's nice to see that space bright and refreshed. Will be back in the future!

Didn't realize til getting home, so someone had to go without. Tried to ask questions but seemed like I was just 'bothering' staff. Curt responses and no further explanation about anything for me. Also charged $1 extra separately for 'filling' ??? that was inside two of the cronuts or something? Still not sure. They were already filled. Is that common nowadays? Tried to be friendly and make small talk but felt again like I was bothering people (in an empty shop). Kinda broke my heart as I live walking distance.

So the first time I had went we were going out of town and I dropped off a pocket cake for my sister in law that lives in Buckeye. She said she absolutely loved it. I never got to try it. So i went a second time to order it again and was told they don't have any. Okay...great. So i did a comparison with other places that have similar size tres leches cakes available such as: food city, frosted bakehouse, hunnie butter, crumbl, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and a tres leches cake i made. I'd rather support small businesses to be honest. So was really hoping to snag a cake from here. But not a full size because this was merely for experimenting purposes. Why get a full size when you aren't sure if you are going to like it?? So i posted about our outcomes on my foodie instagram page. The business told me to try the pocket cake but I already am fully aware but was told by the man working that day they don't have them. Which wasn't the same as the ladies working on my first visit. So now i almost want to try calling around to other locations regardless of how convenient this location is being across from my son's school. Just hoping for a pocket cake and better service because service was non existent my second time. Like would have been nice to have any kind of information like oh sorry we don't have them today but try next week or we won't ever have them again try another store???

I cake on a Saturday and unfortunately the only individual item they had was a tres leches cake like cup. For $4.50, I would buy it again. The cake was nicely soaked, and I love how their whipped cream is a little denser and has hints of cream cheese. Please bring more individual items for purchase!

It's located between Petco and Ace Hardware, and there is plenty of parking. You can order at a kiosk, but since we came later in the evening, the cashier was happy to take our order and was very friendly. My husband ordered the Thai Tea with boba. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with panacotta and boba, and we shared a mango tiramisu. We were both happy with our drinks. The panacotta is a great topping and the boba was fresh, even later in the evening. The mango tiramisu was a perfect treat. It had a jello‑like topping with fresh mango pieces, and the creamy moist bites were delicious. I really enjoyed the consistency and flavor. We played checkers while we hung out. I would love to come back to try more teas and desserts. I definitely want to try the waffle because it smelled amazing. There are plenty of places to sit and everything was very clean. We will be back!
