I stopped by the other weekend to check out the bakery because I was looking for locally baked bagels. I didn't realize it was also a restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was really busy inside, which seemed like a good sign.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space has indoor seating along with a counter displaying their baked goods.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I found the bagels in a freezer section and also picked up a carrot cake cupcake and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was really good and after seeing how popular the restaurant was, I'd definitely be interested in coming back to dine there sometime.

I stopped in today to grab an early lunch to go and chose the quiche. I'm a big quiche fan and this one was delicious, filled with spinach, feta and tomatoes. It comes with greens on the side. The reason for 2 stars is the price, this was $17. I was in shock when I paid and picked up my bag to feel how light it was, and even more shocked at the size of the meal. This was a snack. I was still hungry.

This was my 2nd time here and the biscuits and gravy with two over medium eggs were just perfect, again. The coffee is fresh, and oh so bold-- just the way I like it. Go big or go home is what I say about coffee. The young lady who helped me was wonderful. Everyone is attentive! Well, done, yet again, Gourmet Girls. Oh, and I purchased a lemon pound cake to go. Can't wait to dig into that.

Visiting from out-of-state, my husband and I quickly found that healthy, gluten free options are not readily found in Tucson like they are in LA. I will start by saying that the staff are all wonderful here. Every single staff member we encountered was genuinely so welcoming and kind. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance of the restaurant is definitely nostalgic. It has a bit of that early 2000s Global Village Coffeehouse design aesthetic that you don't see anymore, and it makes you feel like you've stepped back in time in a good way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food we had was just okay. My husband had the breakfast quesadilla and I had the breakfast burrito without cheese, both with the crispy breakfast potatoes. The eggs inside were definitely not freshest. They had a sad beige hue to them and weren't very flavorful at all other than the big chunks of onion. It was hard for me to call my dish a breakfast burrito because it was just egg mixed with onion and one tiny piece of green chile in a "tortilla." The housemade "tortillas" were very interesting. The texture was quite spongy and had a weird sweetness to it. It tasted more like scrambled eggs inside a crepe. The crispy potatoes were indeed very crispy but they were also a bit too salty and oily. The burrito was also listed as having chimichurri and enchilada sauce. I was thinking it would be more like a smothered burrito but it was just drizzles of both. The sauces did not make any sense to me. The red sauce tasted nothing like enchilada sauce and the chimichurri conflicted with the other flavors. I still ate everything and it was fine. It was edible but just definitely was the furthest thing from a breakfast burrito. My husband had similar feelings towards his quesadilla that had the same tortilla and was just the beige eggs with some cheese. I appreciate what Gourmet Girls is doing in a town where there are few options, but it definitely was not the best gluten free food I've had. I might come back and try some of their baked goods or lunch items next time I'm in town, but I wouldn't recommend the dishes we ordered.

    Chicken and Waffle with Chicken

Everything I've had here is fantastic. We ordered a cake and they made sure it was like my favorite cake berry chantilly but gluten free. I had their chicken and waffles and the waffle was fluffy and the chicken perfectly crispy. I've had their bread at Renee's and omg it's heavenly when warmed. I've gotten a variety of cupcakes here and they're all such a treat. The staff is friendly and always prompt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It does get busy here and the parking lot is small.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Had breakfast at Gourmet Girls on a Saturday morning and was happy to see there was plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got seated right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is very cute and there are a few tables outside if you want to enjoy the weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was so good and I was overwhelmed by all the amazing gluten free options. I ordered the lemon poppyseed waffle and it was SO good, you wouldn't even know it's gluten free. It came with a side of bacon or sausage. The bacon was on the crispier side/almost overdone. My partner had the country breakfast so I got to try that too. I enjoyed the gravy and biscuit. We both agreed it could use a tad more flavor (maybe salt or a bit of heat) but for gf biscuit, it was really good. The breakfast potatoes were excellent, crispy and not greasy. The service was fantastic, frequent refills and even provided a to go coffee cup. I can't wait to try other menu items.

Went there for the bakery and it did not disappoint! Their cupcakes were fun and delicious! Large selection of baked item to include breads and cinnamon rolls. Apart from gluten free items they also had some vegan items. The cafe items also looked delicious - especially the quiche... but will have to do that another time as today was about my sweet tooth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was friendly and the space inviting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Was also able to use my Tucson Foodie voucher here- extra bonus,

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The service and ambience are just as fabulous as the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They are wonderful and have an extensive gluten-free menu as well as several vegan items. I'm so glad I found this place. I'm sure I'm going to become a regular! I can't wait to go there to have coffee and pastries or breakfast. I picked up some cookies and they are so so good.

My husband and I have been here numerous times and it is consistent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The welcoming atmosphere, the selections and the taste is always excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The fact that this is a gluten free establishment is icing on the cake. I am so happy to have found a place nearby where I never have to wonder what the experience will be like. It's always good.

    Hot chocolate cupcake

The absolute best gluten free dairy free offerings I've found and believe me I've tried many. Today I tried the hot chocolate cupcake and the Nutcracker. After one taste of the Nutcracker... gone are the days of wallowing in self pity because of my dietary restrictions ... The nutcracker is an explosion of orange zest and tart cranberry flavor with a whipped topping that is light and fluffy. I wish I lived in Tucson. Here's the kicker on the box it states Best served warm or at room temperature. Baby, I ate these cupcakes fresh out the fridge and they were still great. I can only imagine how great they would be if I had followed the recommendation. Our attendant was so friendly and wonderful to interact with. She explained every option I could have and directed me to resources to further explain the cupcakes and breads that I was considering. They do offer a dine in option for your desserts or from their breakfast and lunch menu Vegan offerings are available but today it was very limited. It is an option though. Besides sweets they also offer ciabatta rolls, French bread, Italian rolls etc. Check it out y'all. You won't be disappointed.

Gourmet Girls is an absolute treasure for anyone looking for gluten-free dining in Tucson! I stopped by for brunch and was blown away by how delicious everything was--gluten-free or not. I had the Biscuits and Gravy, and they were incredible: fluffy biscuits with rich, savory sausage gravy that totally hit the spot. My friend ordered the Gourmet Benedict with smoked salmon, and it looked (and tasted) amazing. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions, which made the whole experience even better. I couldn't leave without trying something from the bakery, so I grabbed a lemon bar and a brownie to-go--both were fantastic. It's so rare to find a place where you don't feel like you're missing out because of dietary needs, and Gourmet Girls nails it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The cozy, welcoming vibe makes it a perfect spot for brunch with friends or a casual lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll definitely be back to try more of their baked goods and sandwiches! Read the full write up on Casa Saguaro's website!

Came here for brunch on a Saturday and I was pleasantly surprised. They are a bakery, but they also serve breakfast and lunch too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had breakfast. I did the skillet (no mushrooms) With a side of bacon and it was good!. (Skillet comes with toast, I chose the cinnamon raisin, but it had a odd/chemically taste so I did not eat that after two bites). I also did the Banana Rama, which was absolutely delicious! The perfect amount of sweetness. I had a mango Cran mimosa to start. I definitely recommend their breakfast. And our waitress, Jennifer was very pleasant and helpful with the menu. I was very full and I didn't get anything from the bakery. But everything is gluten-free there And I saw that they also have vegan options.

You really wouldn't see this place driving down Wilmot because it's tucked behind two businesses, with 4 fifteen minutes parking spots designated for the shop. It's a small little pie shop and all pies are six inch mini pies for $7.99. Many are topped with pipped whipped cream unless you order a double crust fruit pie or quiche. I think I've sampled every pie. The size is perfect to split with someone. No drinks or other things are available here, but one can purchase drinks down the way at Beyond Bread. The staff are always getting customers rung up and out quick. Because the space is so small you go in the entrance, order your pies and then go out an exit door. There's no room for meandering or window shopping. You just wait your turn to look and order right away and I rung up the whole space is quite small nonetheless it's fun to go there and get a little treat now and again. And today was one of those days. My mom and I parked while my sister was checking out Bookmans. We picked out a pie to share, went to the patio to eat it, and it was good.
