We ate here on a snowy morning and it was very warm inside. The food was absolutely delicious and coming from Florida, they had the freshest orange juice we had ever had in our lives! We had eggs and bacon and an order of cheese and hashbrowns. The hashbrowns are a very large portion and can absolutely be shared (if you're looking to save a buck). All of the food was excellent and tasted so fresh. The service was great. They have menus in English if you ask the server. Prices are reasonable from a Switzerland perspective! Def a must if you're visiting Lucerne!

Hashbrowns with cheese and a 3 egg omelette with all the add-ons!

Delicious breakfast and friendly staff! My husband and I got a 3 egg omelet and hash browns with cheese to share. The portions were huge, and we couldn't finish everything, so we downgraded to a 2 egg omelette on our second visit. Highly recommend!

The place was pretty inviting. We had breakfast and everything was delicious including the cappuccinos. The waitress was extremely friendly with us. She even gave us extra samples of delicious pastries. Truly recommend this place for breakfast or simply to enjoy a nice cappuccino with a pastry and read, get on your computer, or simply relax.

Check the various breakfast variations. Maybe the best british breakfast in town.

Super friendly but cappuccino was just okay. There is a panini place next to it, reasonable prices.

Yelp Review 2026 #110:…read more This is a bigger and less chaotic location compared to the one close to the Bahnhof. This one has more tourists because it's in a more touristy area. I picked up a few small boxes of chocolates including the cute little piggies. I'm glad an employee warned me some of the chocolates have alcohol because I most definitely was not paying attention. I had a phase when I liked chocolates with liqueur filling and I'm over that phase. They have an area to order ice cream from, an area with a selection of chocolates, a counter where you can order food to-go, and a cafe if you want to sit down and enjoy a drink and food. I noticed in Switzerland, they only have 1-3 employees at chocolate shops. 1 employee if it's a small chocolate shop that also serves hot chocolate/ coffee. 2 employees if it's a bigger shop that also serves hot chocolate/ coffee. 3 employees if they also have a small cafe section. This Heini location only had 2: one was running the cafe section, and one was running around the ice cream section, chocolate and to-go counter. I did wait a while for my two small boxes of chocolates but it's alright. I'm on vacation...I'm in no rush. I'm in Switzerland, not the DMV!

Very nice and filling! Check out my pictures below! Definitely would be back! My whole meal was Yummy! Perfect for a cold and drizzling day!

Yelp Review 2026 #91:…read more Heini Conditorei is Luzern's very own. I've loved all the conditoreis I've been to in Switzerland. But Heini did not deliver. I had breakfast here which was my first meal in Luzern and it was not a great start but it wasn't terrible either. There wasn't very many places open before 7am in the area. So, Heini it is! Many locals come here reading the newspaper while drinking coffee before going to work - like people still read actual newspaper! I love that for them! The ladies behind the counter were pretty friendly. After looking at the options behind the glass case, we made our selections. Shepherd's Pie: The crust was thick, dense and dry. It was more like a savory tart. I ate the middle part and left the pie crust part. 2/5 Chicken Champignon Pie: This was also mostly crust but it wasn't as hard and thick as the shepherd's pie. 3/5 Luzerner Festtagstorte/ Luzern Festive Cake: From their website: "A delicious chocolate biscuit, filled with a truffle cream, delicately sweet raspberry jam, and nougat flakes". It wasn't too sweet. The flavors were very mild. I didn't get much of a chocolate taste that I assumed this cake would have. 3/5 I should have just stayed with the quiche. I went to another Heini location to get chocolates. They have them here too but I didn't want to start my day lugging chocolates all the way to the end of the day.

Not too sweet (even though it had caramel), good quantity and great coffee! The pesto flat bread and croissant was good too, but I expected more from the fresh bakery looking place. His - Found this local cafe shop Heini where the lady barely spoke English but we were still able to easily order croissant and a pizza kinda thing. Coffee Capuccino was great!!
