I wish I read the hundreds of negative reviews before going to North Dover for my first pregnancy…read more Please take our negative experiences and go somewhere else! I'm not even going to get into the rude, degrading and careless personalities of every doctor in the office, but I have many stories about that. Medically, towards the end of my second trimester into the third, i started getting extremely itchy. I brought it up to THREE different doctors at THREE different appointments, clearly stating that the itching is unbearable and it's so bad that i'm bleeding- and I was told it's just eczema, it's part of pregnancy and to use lotion. I started doing my own research and found I might have Cholestasis. A liver problem that has high chance of miscarriage or stillbirth after 38 weeks. I brought it up at my next appointment and I was told no that's rare just use lotion. I had to fight to get bloodwork to test for Cholestasis. Results come back at exactly 38 weeks and I'm told to come in that night for an induction. Imagine if i didn't advocate for myself? This is the dismissive treatment you'll get at north dover. Keep in mind, you'll get this type of neglect on top of TERRIBLE bedside manner- degrading comments, violation of privacy, nasty negative attitudes and more.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. First, when I called to make an appointment as a…read morenew patient the receptionist Angel tells me we don't take your secondary, but we take your primary so we can still see you and made me an appointment. Today two hours before my appointment now I mind you I moved other doctors appointments for this one. They tell me they can't see me because of my secondary insurance. I already knew they didn't take it so I was confused. I spoke to the biller Carly. According to her, they can't see me because if I change primary insurances, then I would have to owe them money and they can't take cash from me. Then she tells me well what happens if you have a deductible. It says it right on the back of my insurance card through my employer in network doctors which they are I have zero deductible so I wouldn't have to make any cash payments for them. Then she tells me that I should change my secondary insurance to which I respond. I can't because I have other doctors that use that secondary insurance then she tells me in nasty way, well then maybe you should find a new provider. The biller was not friendly at all, and she was not helpful at all. The receptionist angel has no idea what she's talking about. I would not recommend anybody going to this office!!!

I went to my OBGYN to have my IUD removed because I felt something wasn't right with my body…read more Before the procedure even started, the male doctor asked deeply personal and unnecessary questions about why I wanted it out, if my kids wanted a younger sibling, and whether I planned to replace the IUD--all while failing to acknowledge the emotional and physical discomfort I was about to face. When he couldn't locate the string, he asked the nurse to fetch tools for him in another room while i was left alone with him (exposed). During this time, he commented on my leg tattoos--an unbelievably inappropriate attempt at small talk. After struggling to locate the IUD and providing little to no clarity, he sent me out crying, saying I needed an ultrasound because the device had either "fallen out" or was unreachable. When I pressed for more details, he casually mentioned a possible D&C like it was no big deal. Today, I had an ultrasound and found out the IUD is still there and in the correct position. This means the entire ordeal likely boiled down to incompetence and a lack of care. The only silver lining was a woman who saw me crying outside the OB office yesterday. She knocked on my window, asked if I was okay, and told me she just wanted to make sure I was good. She said she just wanted to give me a hug. That small act of kindness reminded me why I do what I do, advocating for women and moms. You deserve to be heard, respected, and cared for with dignity.

The appointment scheduling was easy and convenient for me and reminders before each appointment were great. Every appointment I was greeted with a nice hello and the staff new my name. The wait time was unpredictable, but was never too crazy. The weigh ins were in a separate room as to ensure privacy. The ultrasound technician was phenomenal and kept reassuring us as she checked the baby. The phlebotomist was also pleasant and never had to stick me more than once. I enjoyed the different personalities of the doctors. When I had a lot of questions I would schedule an appointment with dr roman and when I wanted a quick appointment with just reassurance of my baby's health I would schedule it with dr tal. Dr tal delivered my baby and was very efficient and took control. I loved it. He told me exactly what to do and how to do it and my delivery was super quick and without sticking or tears. He also showed great skill when my baby had the cord around her neck 3 times. He delivered my beautiful daughter and made sure I was ok before leaving. Overall my experience was phenomenal and I would highly recommend this practice!

I asked if I should be worried, he said no. After the ultrasound, he gave me nothing to clean myself up just walked out of the room as fast as he could. Then, he had me do bloodwork 2 days apart. I did my bloodwork Monday afternoon and my hcg was 19k. Wednesday early morning my hcg was 28k. He then called me immediately as the results were in telling me my pregnancy will end in miscarriage. He just gave me a number for someone to give me misoprostol. He did not clarify what the medication was, made it sound like it was to help the pain of a miscarriage. He told me if I don't take it, it can take 4-5 months to pass. He really had nothing else to say to me besides go talk with that number, and calling it nonviable without doing a second ultrasound. I then called that number and they said they were confused because I was so early and had no follow up ultrasound, and my hcg levels were still increasing. Well I ended up going to the ER to get an ultrasound there. He completely missed the fact that I had a cyst on my right as well as a UTI. My baby now has a yolk sac, fetal pole, and a heart rate of 159 bpm. This man almost unalived my child. Super careless and dismissive to tell a pregnant woman that she is going to miscarry and then just send her off to take a pill to dispose of the pregnancy without any extra thought. He caused me stress, pain, and misery until I got my answer that my baby was ok. Please do yourself a favor and pick someone else. This man does not care. I wonder how many babies he has unalived by referring his patients to take that pill without giving any second thought. I also brought all of this to his attention and I was ignored. No apology or anything. This man deserves to have his license taken away.
