Really nice big library with lots of seating on all levels. The lobby level has a Pete's coffee in…read moreit with lots of seating if you prefer to do some reading and studying in an area where you can eat/drink. The first few floors of the library aren't too quiet, which I prefer, but the 4th level and higher are quiet study areas. There are also plenty of electrical outlets, but they are scattered throughout along the walls and floor (not built into the tables like what more modern libraries have.) I'm not a SFSU student, but was able to come here with no issues to get some work and studying done. There is very limited paid parking around the area and the free street parking is impossible to find, but if your mobile and capable enough you can park unlimited for free at the mall up the street and walk over (it was about a 15 minute walk.) There are also several muni and bus stops in the area, so public transportation is probably more ideal. I like getting my steps in, so I parked at the mall and walked over. There is free guest wifi in the library for non-students. You just need to sign up for it with your name and email address, and the system emails you a one time password to use. The wifi is surprisingly slow, considering that this is on a college campus and I'm sure there are many students that rely on needing good internet speeds for their courses and studies.

After the renovations, this place feels more like a miniature IT campus similar to that of Apple or google. And the library gets super busy especially during midterms and finals. Surprisingly there's a Help Desk where you can get a loaner laptop, you have basic computer questions. Basically this is a good place to start for your studying needs.

There are computers with internet connection and Microsoft Office programs for homework and research! A little bit of disclosure, I know the staff that works here as I worked at the Circulation Department myself while going to school at City College! Friendly staff members and good service! -- Circulation, Periodicals and Reference are on the 4th floor -- Books from A-N: 5th floor -- Books from P-Z: 3rd floor Textbooks and study guides for each course are available via the reserve bookshelves if you need it to do your homework, study for an upcoming midterm or final exam. Some books from the reserve shelves are to be used in the library only. There are reserve textbooks that can be checked out for 1 day or 7 days. The professors determine whether the textbooks should be used in the library or take home so check in with the Circulation Desk staff. There is a room where the change provider and copy machines are, the adjacent room is where library workshops are held. A reserve book room is adjacent to the circulation desk, there is a copy machine in there as well with 2-5 desks in there for studying. The other 3 copy machines are on the other side right near the computers are. -- Group Study Rooms are available and can be reserved at the circulation desk. The Media Center is across the hall from here, audio visual rooms are on the 3rd floor, LAC and language lab are on the 2nd floor. This campus may look crappy, Rosenberg Library is one thing to like about going to school at City College of San Francisco - Ocean (Main) Campus!

There is a quiet room for studying if you want some privacy. Shared space with others. 3 tables in there. Power outlets available in wall. There is an outdoor space in the back, pretty clean with a few tables to read a book or do a group project. These are small Tables of 3, so not for a big group Makerspace room is also back there, cool tools and machines like laser cutter, 3D printer, art supplies like scissors, beads, all kinds of stuff. Especially the spacious & sunny outdoor space. It is very comfortable to take a book and just hang out here in the afternoon for an hour or too. There is also a community room / marker space in the back of the library. The room has a 3D printer & a sewing machine. It's also a very energy efficient and environmental friendly building. It captures rainwater and uses low water plants. I definitely recommend this small and cute neighborhood library. It's one of the treasures in Brisbane for sure!!!

What makes Daly City Libraries special is that they're apart of the Peninsula Library System which offers a wide array of items with a bevy of titles! Admittedly I still use DVDs due to pinching pennies, challenging immoral corporations & supporting local libraries. Sorry Netflix & Disney +, but I love libraries like this too much to let them become history! Also books, magazines & staff make the branches extra special! I just wish they they had more days open with evenings & will always cherish when it was the Plandemic's lockdown, that they would send golds in parcels to our homes!

I am a frequent patron of this library. It is located on Market Street in San Francisco, just…read moreacross from Civic Center. Exit at the Civic Center BART station. This library is a great resource for law students and legal practitioners. They have Rutter guides and a whole bunch of other legal treatises. They have a law librarian to help with legal research. They also have computers with access to lexis and/or westlaw, although their use time is limited to an hour or two. My complaint is regarding customer service and the rude staff. Recently, when they closed, i started putting my stuff away. They came by and literally harassed me, saying that "the library was closed" and i "needed to leave now." Take a chill pill, people. I have never seen such up tight and unreasonable staff anywhere. When i left, it was maybe 5-minutes after the hour. For that, i have named these librarians, the soup naz- librarians.
