After dropping off some household chemicals, motor oil, and antifreeze at the Hazohouse, I headed up to the garbage drop off. I was nervous at first because I thought it was going to be a huge process to drop off my stuff but you just drive in past the dog park and head up to the first weight station. Wait for your turn and then drive up to the booth and have your drivers license or ID ready. They will scan your ID and then give you a card with a barcode on it which you need to hold onto so you can show it at the booth at the exit. Then you wait for an open parking stall. Most people backed into the stalls because it's easier to push your refuse over the rails down into the dump container below. It's actually pretty organized. I thought it was going to be a huge landfill that you have to find a spot and where the least amount of trash is and toss your stuff. It wasn't like that at all. I had a Uhaul 10ft truck and I'm actually glad the rails that prevent you from failing into the container are there because they help you get the leverage you need to toss large objects without hurling yourself into the container as well. Still...be safe and don't toss with too much force and make sure your footing is good so you don't slip. Kids have to stay within your vehicle for safety reasons. They have a separate section for yard waste and large appliances, so look for the signage. I kind of hated to use the dump to toss my furniture but after calling Goodwill, Value Village, and Habitat for Humanity and all of them saying they weren't currently taking furniture or being too selective on what furniture they'd take, I decided to just get rid of it in one go. I'm glad I did because the process was easy. Once you're done tossing your junk, head to the exit, give the pay booth your barcode card and pay. The receipt they give you even shows your starting weight versus your ending weight so you know what you're paying for. $64 for two full U-Haul loads of furniture, trash, bedding, and household items. I felt that was reasonable and saved me a lot of time. I also found out that you can recycle styrofoam down by the Hazohouse along with all the other items I listed in my original review.

What we saw was a bit of a mess as a few rodents must have been down there in the past years as there was some fallen insulation and things looked messy. Decided it was time to get a professional to take a look. I had heard good things about this company through my office and decided to call and see what they could do for us. The person I spoke to was confident they could help me out but did state that if they observed any "active" rodents when inspecting we would need to get that taken care of first as it would do us no good to clean everything up and then have the rodents tear it apart again. Great advice and, lucky for us, all of the activity was from years ago and we did not have to go down that road! Melanie showed up promptly for the inspection at the time she stated. She took measurements, inspected under the house, and then let me know that she would have the quote to me that same day. As promised, the quote was to me within a few hours. The quote was also well within the range that I expected it to be and quite a bit less than the "big name" crawl space companies. The quote was very detailed. It showed the costs for complete removal of the vapor barrier, insulation, and any debris along with the full replacement with new vapor barrier and R30 insulation. The quote also included disposal and all clean up what was removed. We accepted the bid and we were promptly scheduled at their next opening which was about 10 days later. When the day came Melanie showed up to let us know what would be taking place and introduced us to Taylor and Gavin who would be doing the work. They got started quickly and continued to work with only short breaks as they wanted to get done in the time frame they had told us. Well, things were a bit more difficult due to the beam structure under our house and ended up taking and additional 1.5 days to get the whole job done. With that being said, they never complained, they kept working toward completion, and NEVER even mentioned that it may cost more due to to the additional time needed. They stuck to their bid, completed the job in a professional manner, and in the end the job is complete and we are very pleased with the company and their work. Thank you Taylor, Gavin, and Melanie! We will recommend you and Pinup Cleanup in the future when we have the opportunity!

From the hazo house, electronics drop off to the regular dump dump, all are so helpful and friendly. The people in the hazo house have tons of information on what is or isn't hazardous. But not condescending if you do happen to throw something "bad" into the regular dump. Having once been a summer relief garbage man in my college days, I have great respect for people who work here and the job they do. In short, they make it super easy to throw out all sorts of stuff when it's Spring cleaning time.

Each time I called I was told that they could do a "courtesy pick up" for me another week. They make it sound like they are so generous but I was never asking for any favors. I merely wanted them to do what I paid them for in the first place. I think it's a courtesy if I forgot to put my can out and they come back, or if I had bad trash to take out of the can before they could pick it up. But if I am following all the rules for pick up as well as paying for it, then emptying my entire can each week is providing the service I signed up for, it is not a "courtesy."

They entice you with misleading claims (e.g. Free pickups for businesses) only to let those promises go unfulfilled by indicating that home-based businesses don't qualify, and aren't worthy of their time and attention. Newsflash: A larger and larger portion of the American work force is shifting to the Gig Economy meaning a very large portion of these businesses will be home-based. I would recommend using Green PC, or one of the other local e-cyclers in the area.
