Stopped by on a Saturday morning for some blood work. It was perfect timing as the large parking lot was empty. When I entered the lab, I noticed there were two employees behind the counter but the interactions with them are minimal. You just add your name to a clipboard and take a seat. The waiting room of the lab area was neat and orderly. Gia called out my name after a few minutes. She helped calm my nerves with her patient demeanor and her skills are outstanding! I only felt a tiny pinch. I get very anxious when needles are coming my way, but she is efficient, fast and calming. Gia also communicates clearly. I was out the door in 10 minutes, total time since I walked through the door. I am ready to enjoy the rest of my Saturday. Thank you, Gia! This Sutter building is quite nice and I noticed that a receptionist is sitting there as you enter the sliding glass doors. There are a number of wheel chairs right by the front door in case there is a need. I am happy to see the lab is open on Saturday mornings. It was a calm and relaxing atmosphere as compared to a weekday. The best thing was that results were posted online within 24 hours and my doctor had already reached out to me by the time I checked my email on Monday morning. Such efficiency! read more

*This review is for the imaging center* I needed an x-ray with a short turnaround time. Initially I tried to go to another office near spring lake, but wow, I'm so glad I went here instead! When I arrived, there was convenient parking right outside. The entry area looked like it was recently updated, and the effect was beautiful. As a new Sutter patient, I was really happy to see that their signage for directions was really easy to follow, and I found the x-ray department with no issues. At the check in desk for imaging, the people behind the counter were friendly and efficient, and got me checked in promptly. I was really impressed how they handled a disgruntled customer needing assistance paying their statement- they were kind and helpful and got everything sorted out. I was impressed again how fast they got me back to the x-rays. The two techs back there were super friendly, funny, and really set me at ease. I was in and out in a flash. THEN like I don't know...20 minutes later or less, I got an email the x-rays were already read and sent to my doctor. Amazing! Downsides to this place are some of the areas haven't been updated yet, like the bathrooms near the x-ray area. That particular bathroom is stuck in the 70s and it is in dire need of some love. Also, they are doing construction in a major part of the parking lot, so that can be an issue right now. Otherwise, definitely worth the drive for friendly, fast, and convenient x-rays! So the wait is usually a while, during which time your anxiety can spiral a bit out of control, but once they get you in, they're super caring and professional. I went for an ultrasound of a suspicious hardened lymph, and since I suffer from gender dysphoria, the whole experience was pretty awkward for me. But I let the intake nurse know, and she was as respectful as could be. Was given a warm blanket while in the interior waiting room. They dont make you wait for results which I greatly appreciate! A doctor came in only around 5 minutes after my ultrasound, and let me know that it was benign and that I am in fact not dying. So thanks, Sutter, for making what was a frightening time a bit less so, and for promptly putting me out of my misery. :) read more

What a beautiful place to go to get medical care! I went to drop off a copy of my medical records, but was taken in by the large framed photos on the walls. The place is like an art gallery with very compelling photos. I did not want to leave. I wanted to study each photo on the wall. One was of those rocks at "the race track" in Death Valley that float across the mud. I could see that the photographer had to stay there all night because the photo was taken in the very early morning. Other attractions at Sutter Health is Chloe's French Restaurant. Since starting with Sutter Insurance in April I have been trying to get a primary physician. Finally got an appointment in July, but the doctor left on maternity leave two days before my appointment. Next available doctor can see me at the end of August. Five months to see a primary care doctor...WTF? Want to call and get help? don't bother because they dont answer their phones either. The insurance commission needs to shut this racket down. They charge high premiums and dont deliver service, instead designing a system to make access nearly impossible. You can't make this stuff up... I wanted a cyst on my forehead removed. Dr Wolf assisted by a resident named Maya Zwerlding did the procedure. A WEEK LATER IT WAS STILL THERE !!! Reality is they never removed it. Truth is the resident Maya Zwelderling never did this before !!! I messaged Dr. Wolf and he stated that it could be fluid, inflation or scar tissue. ( Scar tissue two weeks later ???). I went in to have it examined and he told me that it was probably scar tissue and that we could use some steroids if the lump did not go away. After numerous messages the only thing I was offered was another opportunity to spend more of my $$$ to have them do it again... THE CYST NEVER WENT AWAY!!! Sutter Health never offered and resolution so I took them to small claims court. OMG!!! Sutter had more legal briefs, exhibits and declarations then the OJ case.... Briefs and exhibits provided from Hassard Bonnington LLP... Oh boy, I wish I had a San Francisco attorney on retainer. They even had a declaration from an MD named Dr Steven Fugaro. Dr. Fugaro was not part of the procedure nor had he ever seen me or my cyst. He does not even work in the hospital... What could he possibly declare??? It would be interesting to know how much the good doctor was paid to provide his declaration. I wonder if He does this often??? This information was presented in court by a Sutter risk manager's Arlene Medina and her associate Kim... It felt very personal. I cannot comprehend why an organization would take a seemingly unethical approach to a case where the cyst obviously never went away. It was not a year or two later. I contacted the doctor within two weeks... Aside from the ethical issue does it make any sense for a business to allocate funds for attorneys, doctors and risk managers to battle a $423 claim... I would love to see the billable hours associated with this case. Never mind the poor customer service aspect. Even if Sutter wins they lose financially. Makes no sense to me but I guess this is why our medical costs are so reasonable. It is worth noting that I had consultations with two dermatologists and a plastic surgeon. All stated that there was no scar and that it was probably just drained. The plastic surgeon even wrote in her notes that it was "incompletely excised"... Thank God for yelp. I am contemplating making a sign and picketing in front of the hospital. I might even have my day on TV... I am retired, on a fixed income and have "no life". Everyone tells me to volunteer my time. Might be a perfect opportunity to fill my day... Hard to believe that an organization would not accept that someone could possibly make a mistake. After all, it was the first time the resident ever performed this type of procedure. I even contacted Dr Wolf after two weeks making him aware it never went away. Hard to believe big brother Sutter Health would spend so much time, money and energy fighting a old guy on a fixed income for $423. I saw NP Abby Sorensen for a mandatory physical for my job. It just so happened that the night before my appointment I had fallen ill with food poisoning which triggered a migraine. Abby is among one of the most compassionate practitioners I have ever been treated by. She treated my migraine immediately, while showing genuine concern and care. She spent a lot of time with me and was very knowledgeable. I, too, am in the medical field (RN) and Abby listened to me and allowed me to be collaborative in my plan of care. My only regret is that I have relocated to SoCal so I can no longer see her, but I can't recommend her enough. read more

Five weeks ago my sister had an MRI here which showed a cancerous tumor in her leg, most likely metasticised from somewhere else - a sure sign of stage 4 cancer. She immediately began trying to get appointments with necessary specialists. I can not tell you how many phone calls went unreturned. It took two weeks to see an oncologist. The PET scan he ordered was put on hold so the center could verify payment from medicare. Finally a scan showed a tumor in her lung. A biopsy took ten days to schedule. The results showed that it was incorrectly performed and failed to take tumor tissue. Here we are - five weeks after being told my sister had stage 4 cancer: we do not have a diagnosis; we do not have a treament plan and, of course, no treatment. There is no one person at the center who will communicate regularly with my sister. Today, we decided to start all over, seeking care elsewhere. I wonder what these five weeks have cost? read more

Very clean building great staff there is never to long of a wait. Dr Wang has been a great OB for my first pregnancy I recommend seeing her.

My visit with Dr? Mendius was definitely the worst doctor appointment ever. He showed up a half hour late for the appointment, screamed obscenities at me and my other half, totally violating the oath he took as a doctor. Recommend finding another doctor for sure. I have filed a grievance with sutter allready. He acted like a third grader. Unbelieveable ! read more

Sutter Pacific has decided that they do not want to cover ANY Anthem Blue Cross members with policies written after the affordable Care act passed.. They are essentially high jacking the law and access to Healthcare in this region, since they are such a heavy presence in our community. Luckily we DO have choices. One can choose St Joseph which includes Memorial, Petaluma Valley, and Healdsburg Hospitals. These hospital systems have chosen to,work with, not around, the laws that allow our community to have access to health care.. Choose NOT to have your tests performed at Sutter. They strive to make you think you have no chose....but you do. It might seem a bit easier to walk down the hall for tests, but this is short sighted.. Do not support the cherry picking snobs behind Sutter. My one star is for failing to support our community. I would like us to not support them in return. read more

I switched to this medical group for a new obgyn. I have had the best experiences there so far. I look forward to having children and having this be the office I go to regularly. My doctor emailed me information describing my text results within a week. They fill prescriptions quickly and seem to really care about my well being! Couldn't be happier!!! read more

Some of the staff at my primary just do not have it together. When I've called for appointments, they are rude and cut you off mid sentence. They don't answer phones after 3pm, or hardly ever, and the last NP I worked with did not seem very confident in getting my last diagnosis across to me when I had questions. Very unprofessional. I have a great OB there though in a different building and the staff is very friendly. I've contemplated leaving but do like my primary doctor, but pretty sure after the last phone call I just got, that was the nail in the coffin. read more

For the $300 office visit charge, the North Bay facility is a poor return on your investment considering every thing the health care team does is ala carte in addition to the $300 cover charge to get in. My insurance carrier was billed $800+ to remove a skin tag. $400+ each visit. The procedure required two visits because the physician didn't get it the first time. read more

To start, the building is amazing, but that is only the start! The doctors, midwives, nurses and lab workers who have assisted me are phenomenal! I would strongly recommend Doctor Dehnad for your OB/GYN needs, Dr. Wang for delivery (Dr. Dehnad was unable to be at my delivery) and I would recommend Dr. Leland Davis and Dr. Miraglia for Pediatrics. read more

They threatened to cancel my prescription if I did not make see my specialist. Let me make sure you understand this. This was a call form their business department. They called and left a voice mail that demanded that I make another appointment to see my specialist and then just sort of flippantly dropped the "oh...and we won't fill your prescription if you don't. This was not a courtesy call from the doctor's office informing me that I needed a followup. They did not give me a time frame to find another physician or time to look. They called a few days before my prescription was due to expire and demanded I make an appointment or they would not fill the prescription. This was a call from their business department. The person who called even got my doctor's sex wrong. They had no clue who my doctor was. I called, got voice mail and left a nasty voice msg. I also sent an email asking them to respond as to why they threatened me with cancellation without giving me an opportunity to find another doctor. They sent me a letter via registered mail telling me how upset they were for the tone and language in my voice message but did not address the threat to cancel my prescription at all. read more
