Sutter is just a nasty and greedy organization. They refused to sign any Medicare health insurance for 2025. This left countless numbers of patients with no doctors or out of network coverage. I can't believe what happened to my mother when she tries to call Sutter Health to get help! This is her story: Sutter Health , there's something wrong with the way you take care of patients. First, there's no access to your primary care physician. I have called 707-427-4900, but all I reach is your call center and all they can do is send message to my provider. I asked the representative what if I have an emergency that I needed to have her look at my labwork because they're not looking very good. He said to call 911. That's crazy. Our lifeblood depends on this primary care physician. We can't always run to urgent care to get some medication when the primary care physician already knows your condition. It's only the first quarter of 2024 and I am not happy with your organization, the one in the Fairfield-Solano area. read more

i've only had one experience at this urgent care and I will never go back. I went in because my arm was developing a bruise over a number of days and at that point it was surrounding my entire upper arm. I hadn't injured it so I figured it was bleeding inside for some reason. I had called my doctor's office and was told I needed to have it looked at. So I went into the Fairfield Urgent Care. I was treated very rudely. I had to wait 15 or 20 minutes and then a woman came out and asked me what I was there for. I explained and she said she didn't think the doctors there will treat that. I requested that she ask them She went back and came out a minute later and said I needed to go to the emergency room. Then she just walked away. What really bothered me was her abrupt manner and rudeness. She could just as easily have said they don't have the necessary equipment available there, that is necessary for your treatment or any number of other things that would've been more polite than 'just go to the emergency room we won't treat you'. The next day I went to North Bay ER and got quick and courteous treatment. My comment to Sutter is this - These reviews go back a couple of years and you keep saying you're concerned about how people are treated, but nothing changes. I'm 76 and disabled and I get some of my care at Sutter Low Court. About 25-30% of the time I receive some form of abuse from your staff. The last time was in radiology there. It was so bad that I've been unable to go back and get further treatment that my doctor has ordered because I'm afraid that the same person will be there. It's also kept me from going to get the work done in Vacaville , because I know sometimes the same people work at both locations. And it's useless to call your so called "CARE" number, because they don't care. I did that once and the woman who answered was extremely rude and told me I should have taken care of it myself and hung up on me. That was after I had a serious fall in your laboratory bathroom when the handicap bar flew off the wall, hit me in the face twice and blackened my eye. I also twisted my knee and it was severely swollen and difficult to walk on. I tried four different times to get someone to talk to me about it both on the phone and in person and I was just rudely dismissed. This doesn't sound like a facility that really wants to take care of its patients or really gives a damn about them. I had an MRI and x-ray of my knee and it showed that the ACL and other ligaments were torn, as well as the meniscus. I had to use my own insurance to get this treated more than a year later because Sutter wouldn't even talk to me about it. I recently had emergency surgery and was taken to North Bay where I got the best treatment I think I've ever had in any hospital and I was there two weeks. I don't want to change my primary care because I like him a lot, but I am getting more and more of my care at North Bay because I'm tired of the abuse from Sutter employees. There are plenty of good employees at Sutter Fairfield, but there's also a very large number of abusive people who work there. I know my disability can be a burden to others because I am very slowly,but I really have no control over that. I do the best I can. Shame on you Sutter Health for not doing something about this! It's hard enough being elderly and disabled, and trying to get around without people abusing you for it. I've also been abused at your Vacaville facility, but not as often. I am thankful for venues like this where I have an opportunity to warn people, and where we have an opportunity to share this instead of it being swept under the carpet by you. 70-75% of the time I get good kind care from people at your facilities. However, I think 25 to 30% of the time receiving abuse is unacceptable. And this is not just a small amount of abuse. It's PTSD abuse! read more

Excellent service after I took a fall. There was a bit of wait but I was a walk-in and there were a lot of people there. Staff, nurses and doctors were all great though the lady at front desk could probably use a bit more customer service training. I suspect she's actually quite nice but doesn't come across that way in interactions with myself and others in the waiting area. It's not an easy job that she does so I get that. A month ago I hurt my left shoulder lifting something heavy, I tried the RICE method that didn't work I tried Tiger Balm no luck,, I usually don't go to a hospital unless I'm really really sick or injured. This is what I'll say... There's something concerning about the lack of urgency in the urgent cares in this area. We attempted to call 2 other urgent cares due to my husband having an allergic reaction to something on the weekend. First off, it was impossible to get someone on the phone without waiting for 30 minutes, then the only appointments you could get were 8 hours later. I'm addition to that, if you "walk in" the have you make an appointment. Thankfully, this was not the case for this urgent care. They do accept walkins and you can patiently wait in their waiting area to be seen. They had a sign that said the wait time was about 1.5 hours and they were pretty spot on with that estimate. When we made it back, the nurse was sweet and friendly. Dr.Sotak was also really kind and patient. I would give them a 5 star but it doesn't feel right due to the 1.5 hour Wait time and the wait to see the doctor after the initial vitals check. I would choose this place over the carbon health urgent cares mainly because I prefer their way of accepting walk-ins. read more

I couldn't get into my primary care and went online for nearest urgent care. Sutter on Low court was listed and hours stated were 1 pm. opening. Arrived just after 3 and only one patient was in front of me. Dr Davis saw me within 10 minutes. intake nurse was kind and compassionate. Dr. Davis examined me and diagnosed me with an eye infection. Medication was called into my pharmacy immediately and I picked it up on my way home. I was taken care of quickly, the offices were clean, and the staff was was wonderful! read more

We originally went to NorthBay Urgent Care in Vacaville but after waiting for AN HOUR even though my husband had an appointment, we found out the doc just decided to go for lunch and ignore his patients. So we left and called Sutter Urgent Care and the receptionist was so professional and managed to get my husband in within 45 minutes. Definitely choosing Sutter over NorthBay here on out! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. We arrived 20 minutes after they opened and called prior. They said the wait would be 15-20 minutes. We have been waiting an hour with no service. We arrived as the third person here and 6 people have been called back prior to my 4 YO son who is having trouble breathing. This is awful customer service, patients should be seen in the position they arrived in or an actual nurse should be accessing the severity of each patient at arrival rather than just guessing who's in the worst condition. Next time I will just write on my check in form that he is an inch from dying so he can actually be seen in a proper order. The doctor was very nice once we saw him, which may the experience better and he seemed very knowledgeable. So if you have time to wait then Atleast the doctor is smart. read more

I have had problems with urgent care in the past. Yesterday was the most recent. I went to the web site to check the hours. It was Sunday so the closing hour was 5:30PM. I had plenty of time, it was now 4:PM. I arrived at 4:30PM only to be told they were not taking anymore patients. There were only 4 people in the waiting room. When I asked why I was told there was only one doctor. This should have been posted on their web site. I did not make an appointment. I drove 30 miles round trip only to be told no. The customer service/ receptionist personnel are extremely rude and dismissive. I called to schedule an FAA Medical exam and the woman on the phone was extremely rude and told me I was missing paperwork and shouldn't call back until I had it, which is understandable and I was unaware, it was simply her demeanor and attitude that was nasty. When I got there for my appointment the woman who helped me was kind but also dismissive, and at the end of my appointment when I paid the younger girl at the front sat on her phone and took quite a few sips of water before recognizing that i was there and helped me. I just called again looking for some assistance with questions I had, and the woman told me that I called the wrong number, and that they'd open tomorrow and then proceeded to hang up on me after I apologized for calling the wrong number. I work in the food industry so I'm not usually one to write a bad review but the continuous rude behavior has truly rubbed me the wrong way. This is in no way reflective of the actual care I got however, as the doctor and nurses I were with were very friendly and helpful. Thank you. read more

This is a review for the Walk-in Services. I had a virtual visit last week and they recommended to come in person if my cough does not get better so I can get my lungs listened to. I scheduled an appointment and got a call from the clinician telling me what I am dealing with would be something for urgent care and that I may be wasting my time. Walk-in services does specifically call out a cough and she kept insisting all she could do is give me a covid test or a doctors note. I felt like she did not want me to come in. When I told her that she did get defensive and kept repeating what she had already told me. She then kept saying you are welcome to come in for the visit. Then she mentioned that on the weekends they don't have all the services like imaging. That's M-F. I decided to cancel because of this interaction. I don't feel confident that she would provide the best care. This was a very disappointing conversation. I have to reassess having Sutter Health as my health care provider. read more

I have had the bad luck of having to take two of my kids here within three days of each other. Both visits were easy quick and thorough. Our last visit was was the trickiest. My daughter managed to get a piece of bark stuck in her foot. Dr Robert Stein took great care of her was able to numb her foot and quickly remove the bark. Went here to do my drug test, physical and ppd. Front desk MA is rude in occupational health! Also doesn't know how to do her job correct. Doesn't seem like she cares at all about patients that come through there. Told me to come back within 72 hours and before 11:40am. So I showed up around 11 and she told me I was too late and my ppd did not count so I'd need to have it redone. Then when I told her I showed up before the time she told me, she said "let me double check" and then stated that it was her mistake and that she would "fix" it. Two days later... I get a call from my new employer saying that my ppd did not go through because apparently I didn't show up to have my arm checked!!! So I call this place back and spoke with the same girl who did my ppd, she had a horrible attitude and was being very rude about HER MISTAKE! I asked her why she told my employer that I didn't show up and she said because I didn't show up! Even though I know I did! BAD customer service!! Lied to my employer and then tried to make me look stupid. Good job Gave this a 2star rating because the doctor who did my physical was super nice and professional. Thank you. read more

Over 45 minutes for a covid swab, no it does not take that long to get a q tip and swab my nose when there isn't anybody in front of me or behind me. I work in healthcare so I understand how these things work and I have had multiple covid swabs done at my work and different facilities, Just go elsewhere. read more

I totally agree with the other reviews that say about incompetent staff, especially the person at the Sutter Urgent Care front desk. She had a Vietnamese accent so at first we thought we misunderstood where she wanted us to go (after registration). She later confirmed we needed to wait outside. With the patient being dizzy and nauseous, she still sent us to wait outside a LOCKED side door of the building- in the cold with strong winds. NO seats. We couldn't believe it was where Urgent care patients that can barely stand needed to wait??? When I asked, she said it was because he has a headache and it was a symptom of Covid. Really? That's how inconsiderate this Facility is? A headache makes you a Covid suspect and gets you thrown out in the cold. We have been vaccinated (60+) but we also just got tested negative- but she didn't even bother to ask. Later a nurse came out of the locked door and told us to wait in the car and we'll be called once a room becomes available. We decided to leave after that. We ended up going to North Bay where we were treated with compassion and waited in the warmth of the waiting room. The North Bay attending physician actually later referred us to the ER. It was that bad and it has Nothing to do with Covid. Sutter: Please show some compassion to your Urgent Care patients and have the right protocols to properly triage patients before throwing them out of the building. read more

Cut my thigh with a very sharp blade so it was a deep wound. They took me immediately and were wonderful. The doctor was a surgeon and very familiar with stitching. He did a great job and the nurses were great. I wouldn't hesitate in going there again. P.S.- my wound is healing nicely and it looks like my scaring will be minimal. Thank you Sutter! read more

Many doctors and nurses there are nice but one was really odd. She wanted to prescribe doxycycline and asked me if I had used that before. I asked her for another one because it can cause intercranial pressure and that is something that concerns me due to family history. She got mad at me and said "oh so you think I would give you something harmful." And gave that to me anyhow. It was awful. What a waste of time too. I needed amoxicillin so I called teladoc who didn't get offended or snippy with me just prescribed me the right antibiotic for me and my faMily history. The nurse practitioner at Sutter needs to chill. I am never going back there. I drove there today and remembered how that felt There are other options. I also usually like nurse pracitioners. Unprofessional staff (minus the MD I saw). Receptionist (Hispanic woman) was sitting at the front desk watching movies on her phone while eating a Reese's Pieces. The Asian medical assistant on the other hand told me to turn my phone off. The crazy part is I wasn't on my phone. She thought I wasn't listening to her, however I was, I just didn't understand what she was asking me because she didn't speak good English. Never again! I went in because I was, and still do, have an ache on the upper right side of my head. The PA, I didn't see a doctor, had the nurse give me a shot of ibuprofen or something like it. I almost passed out and they had to get me ice packs because I was burning up. The nurse and PA had looks of fear on their faces, and got my sister to take care of me! The dr. X-ray tech and nurses were excellent but the office staff made this experience horrible! I brought my son in and we forgot to put on masks since other places have not been requiring them and I have not been to the drs in over a year. This seems to have created a hostile environment where the front staff could no longer give us proper care. A woman came straight towards us from down the hall like she had received a call knowing we'd be there. She handed me and my children masks stating it's their by law and requirement. I just said thank you and put them on thinking that would be the end of it. It was not a problem to put them on! Then she starts turning around with her arms up shouting anyone else?! Does anyone else not have a mask?! No?! GOOD!! The front desk guy then says thank yooooou! I'm assuming he may have called her. she then stomps off under her voice saying " learn to read a freaking sign! Masks are required! ridiculous!!!!" I'm sitting there in disbelief but it doesn't stop there. After the services the dr had told me he would give me a drs note for school since my son sprained his ankle. We exited not getting the note so I turned around and I ask the front desk guy. I believe his name was Robert but his tag was clipped backwards. He berated me asking why I needed a drs note? I told him for school and PE he goes "what kind of school is this kung fu school?! Does he have kung fu PE?! " I said no just regular Pe.. He then tells me that my appointment summary should suffice. I told him the dr already told me he'd give me a drs note. He says okay fine what's the drs name?! Goes in the back hands me two papers and I drive home. I then get a phone call where he's telling me he gave me the wrong papers and created a HIPPA violation. He gave me papers for another child to be excused from PE. He told me he had my papers at the front desk. I asked if he could email them since we were almost home and he said no. I drive back down there and gave him the other papers in return for mine. I feel like there was hatred, bias and discrimination based off me coming in without a mask that inhibited some of the staff from doing their job properly. He was so in his head about not wanting to service me that he created a HIPPA violation. this is completely inappropriate and a service I'm paying for. We pay out of pocket almost 1000$ a month for insurance plus whatever fees for this visit and this is the service we get?! I do not find myself to be an unreasonable person as I believe most would've stuck up for themselves in the moment but I do not like confrontation. This made me feel so uncomfortable which seemed to be their intent. read more

Best Urgent Care experience. I took my 2 year old son in. Waited less than 10 minutes and out in under an hour. Dion, PA provided details about the issue, explained how he would fix it and answered all of my 1,000 questions. He did so great with my son. He held his Darth Vadar toy and by the end of it my son was asking him to drive him to get french fries (equivalent to asking him out for coffee). The staff was super friendly. The location is easy to find. Lots of parking and close spaces to the entrance. I have three boys and am sure I will be back. Happy if it's any urgent care that it's this one. read more
