Even then they wanted to debate not allowing me a full years' worth {I've had a slow thyroid for over twenty years now and I am pretty much at the max dosage, simply ludicrous} until I said I'll be going back to online with telehealth because this is BS. Having said that I went back to online "visitations" because frankly the risk [driving there, other communicable illnesses] verses the "reward" {getting a medicine refilled and the obvious lectures from health providers that frankly appear less healthy that myself} for attending such a provider doesn't make logical sense to me. With telehealth I sit in my home and virtually see a person capable of writing prescriptions I need, including any testing procedures. All the while I don't risk the drive nor that time spent among those more ill than I.

My issue, though, is I made an appt at 7:20 PM today and they close at 8:00 PM. My appointment was set up through the portal and I even got a message saying staff would stay a little late to see me. So, I thought, cool, very nice of them. However, I got here 15 minutes earlier than my appointment and the door was locked and no way to get in. All I got from them is them saying when I arrive to check in through the kiosk but I can't without being in the building to use the kiosk. I almost don't even recommend calling either because they only use robots. The nurse and staff themselves are good as far as care goes. But I think it's not great they'll let you schedule an appointment but not be there when you show up. If ya'll can't take new patients after 7 or something, then don't allow appointments to be scheduled is all. The online portal is decent as well but I also don't love it. Overall I give the quality of care a 4.5 rating, but the patient portal/phone service thing is about a 1.

Called back to inform them the pharmacy had no rapid tests in stock, but that I previously had Covid and was vaccinated, and was still pretty sure I had strep. Told me unfortunately it was "protocol" and said I'd have to be seen at the hospital. I guess that was just their own protocol because I was seen at Urgent Care in Lake City without a Covid test, where I received treatment for the strep I was diagnosed with. I had symptoms of Gaul bladder and he diagnosed as the stomach flu. When I looked at the discharge paper it says to go back to the ER if you had the exact same symptoms I already had.
