Don't expect to be browbeaten about your part of your pet's…read morecare. if Dr. Renaud says your pet needs to lose weight he won't harp on it more than once in the same appointment. I think that's fair since you're either willing to try or not and the ball's in your court.

Renaud killed my 3 yo male Siamese, Poco Loco, through sheer negligence and bungling incompetence…read more Poco was fine that morning; he ate breakfast and went outside. Around noon he came in and I gave him some lunch, with the other cats. Later that afternoon he came in very distressed; his tongue was hanging out, he was drooling, vocalizing and his breathing was rapid. I rushed him to Suwannee Vets. Dr. Bowker was off that day, so Renaud saw him. He looked him over. I asked "What do you think, Doc?" His answer, quote was: "I have no idea." Turns out it was syphlactic shock, most likely from pawing or mouthing a wasp and getting stung. Renaud gave him a narcotic shot of Bupronex to calm him down, gave me some antibiotics, charged me $153 and sent us home. Less than 2 hours later, Poco was dead, from respiratory failure. Turns out Bupronex is exactly what SHOULD NOT BE GIVEN! It killed him. Protocol is a fluid IV, antibiotics and possibly adrenaline, with an overnight stay. Renaud certainly knows how to charge you, though! I demanded a refund and he totally blew me off. He knows he screwed up! I already was avoiding him for Dr. Bowker, as I'd previously had a couple of unsatisfactory results with Renaud with two other cats. So he killed my cat from negligence and charged me $153. I've consulted two other vets with Poco's symptoms and behavior, along with Renaud's treatment and both agreed it was syphlactic shock and giving him Bupronex was disastrous. One vet asked if Poco's mouth was examined. "NO, it wasn't" I answered. She left it at that. I didn't tell them which vet was responsible. Maybe Renaud is good with dogs, but cats? I miss Poco terribly. What happened to him makes me sick. Mark Silvera

We took our older boxer there when it was her time to cross the rainbow bridge. They were very kind and we had a a room to ourselves that was set up more like a living room rather than an exam room it was a peaceful transition. We have had good experiences at this vets office..

I gave it a try during my first visit a tech was looking directly at my dog's vaccination records all typed out and said my dog needed rabies vaccination. I said no he had it . She repeated two times and stared at the one sheet document that it says he does not have it. I asked if I could see the document and she showed me, i immediately pointed to next rabies due 2028. It was very concerning. I Reported back to same place for my for my other dogs surgery. They weighed him and the surg tech came out and said we need a reweigh, 10 pounds difference ( good surgery tech) Sure enough the same tech that could not read a chart 3 days prior wrote the weight down wrong -10 lbs. So two dogs two mistakes same day. One would have gotten another rabies vaccination and the other potential meds/anesthesia issues. Furthermore they take dogs back for vaccinations. Do them in front of parents, these are our kids. First of all I want the vet to give vaccination and not in back room. Should not have gone here. It did not get better, post surgery i had issues. Called in the am, front desk said send picture, i did. She said she would share it with vet. 5 hrs later i had to call. She said oh yeah he said, .... why didn't someone call. There was more, it got worse not better. Just disappointed. To me too many staff members. Too many errors.
