The staff was friendly and professional. They take COVID concerns seriously, cleaning the glasses after you try them on, cleaning the equipment in the exam rooms before you head in. They were running behind on my appointment, so they let me try on glasses and gave me honest feedback on whether or not they looked good on me (a lot of places won't do that). Once we narrowed it down to 2 frames, they tried to same time by figuring out how much my insurance would cover, what my preferences were about lens (transitions, blue light coating, whether I would want bifocals if the doctor recommended them, etc). I only had to actually "wait" 5 minutes doing nothing, they took care of all the stuff I would have otherwise had to deal with after my eye exam up front. The exam went well, the doctor very professional, gave me a few options as far as weather to try bifocals, separate glasses, or a new type of lens. By the time my exam was over, I just had to pay for the exam and glasses. They told me 7 to 10 days before my glasses would be ready, which is disappointing, but not surprising and said they had a 45 day guarantee that if I didn't like my choice of lens or frame, they would take them back and replace them with what I decided I'd like. If you need glasses there is NOWHERE to go in Midland or Saginaw except for SVS VISION!!! I've worn glasses for 46 years and I've NEVER been so well treated or taken care of!!! !!!THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! (something very hard to find anymore) THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH SVS!!! The gals that work there when I went in were so VERY HELPFUL & VERY PLEASANT!!! I had a prescription for my glasses that I took in to them to get a pair of safety glasses made. WOW!!! They are FAR better than the regular pair of glasses I bought from pearle vision. It only took a week for SVS. When it took pearle vision 3 weeks plus; as well as, all the time driving back & forth and the returns for the redoes. I had to return to pearle vision to have my glasses redone TWICE! The lines for my progressive lenses were off each time, finally, I just accepted what I had received. I NEVER should have!! It took the gal at SVS a mere handful of moments to get the measurements perfect! My husband and I have been customers of pearle vision for 20 + years and NEVER AGAIN will we go there! I live in Detroit, but my son is a student at Northwood University & and is a member of the baseball team.His glasses broke and he needed a replacement pair. I was planning on driving 2 hours to pick up his glasses and bring them back to detroit To Henry ford optimize. Then I remembered SVS. My wife and I had our first appointment (which was made through the online scheduling system). They had our insurance paperwork already filled out when we arrived, and as soon as we finished the normal medical questionnaire one of us was able to walk back for the eye exam. Both of us were done in about 45 minutes, which included choosing our new eyeglass frames. Everyone was nice and friendly. I'm not sure what else could be done to make things go smoother or to provide a better experience. For what it is worth, we would definitely go back again and recommend the SVS Vision location in Midland, Michigan. read more

Best service and experience for glasses I have ever had. With the help of staff, frame selection was right on point. Having a smaller framed face, Buey selected 3 frames that were amazing within minutes. Never had anyone know the frame selection so well choosing only frames fitting a smaller width and nothing else making the final decision quickly and so confident those were the ones. Typically look around for 1/2 to 1 hour still unsure if I had made the right decision. Handled insurance and offered all options and specials available. I got insurance through my work and was able to schedule an appointment online for the end of the week. They were very nice, and had a great selection of glasses, ranging from $80-$250 with great styles and a variety of sizes, which is great for my big head. The doctor found some health issues for me that I had no idea about, but explained my headaches when no other eye doctor has ever even addressed them. Very grateful for that. read more

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I recently had hip surgery, so positioning for the exam was a bit of a challenge. The doctor made me feel comfortable and safe and did a great job checking my eyes. Then the optician helped me choose frames. When I arrived to check in I was told I didn't have an appointment scheduled. I had used the online portal to schedule an appointment, it sent me a confirmation email and the Name of the Dr. I was with. It also sent me new my information to fill out, which they had. What a great place to get glasses! The doctor was very nice and the optician there was amazing. I was having a difficult time finding glasses with a mask on and she helped me with the shape and colors I liked. Finding glasses with a mask on is so hard! Good experience at the location in Midland, Mi, was able to get an appointment within a few days, and waited only a few minutes for my exam. All seemed to be doing their best to follow COVID safety guidelines. Everyone was helpful and patient while trying on and choosing frames.
