The snowmobiles were all in great shape and our tour guides Brett and Kelsey were so patient and kind! They really made this trip memorable for all of us, including our kids. If I could give this place 100 stars I would, Our tour guide (pictured because I forgot his name I am so sorry!) was the sweetest and kindest man! I started getting wind burn on my face and he took off his buff and let me borrow it for the entire 3 hours. He took the time to take pictures of us, talk to us about food/bars, was seriously accommodating to us and let us have a lot of fun. He made sure we were comfortable the entire time and we had 0 hiccups or accidents while out there. My toes were super cold by the 2nd hour and when we were done I went and sat in the car to warm them up. He took the time to come and ask my husband if I was okay and if I needed emergency warmers for my feet Even on the trails we passed the slower people and the tour guide didn't mind taking a joy ride. Not only are the people amazing, but the views are to die for! I so recommend this company, also amazing service by the lovely ladies in the office too, and the super cute pups We're here on our honeymoon and they really made us feel welcomed and not like tourists. Chad was our guide and he did great me and my girlfriend never rode snowmobiles before and he was super patient with us and pushed us at the same time we did the 2 hour ride on canyon creek and truthfully didn't think we'd go far compared to the longer options but Chad made the price reflect the time perfectly and I felt like we got well use out of the snowmobiles I guess sometimes you can see a moose but we didn't see one but it was the first snow day on the trail in a couple weeks so it was super busy so understandable 10/10 one of the funnest things you can do in the area during winter definitely recommend and a good sole reason to come in the first place they also called me to informed me I overpayed which I thought was awesome and sent a full refund of the over payed amount (due to my own mistake reserving the sleds) customer service was great read more

I came out here with my best friend to celebrate my birthday and wanted to do something I've never done before so I found this company, reached out and the rest is history. First off, we got there WAYYY before we needed to be there. Luckily, Bryan had gone out to the office (where we were) to do some paperwork and let us go inside where it was warm and dry. We got lucky. If not we would've had to stay out in the cold until someone showed up to have us sign paperwork!!! He also took us out to the trailhead to start our excursion. Jacob was our guide in the ride and wow. This experience was incredible!!! I loved it, and would totally do it again. I totally recommend this company! They have so many other activities to offer throughout the yearr! Looking forward to coming back and seeing these guys again! Thank y'all so much for this fun experience! The staff at the office where you get your gear was professional and nice, they make sure your gear is a good fit. We had 2 awesome guides, one was Chad and the 2nd was a very nice guy too, I'm terribly bad with names. But both guides were professional, friendly and took us on one amazing ride through the mountains! I recommend having a 4x4 if it snows to get up to the parking lot where you start the tour. So worth the money, probably the prettiest place I have seen in my life!!! Please tip your awesome guides, they are there to show you a great time and keep you alive in the wilderness. We will definitely be back and hope to take a sunset tour to ride back in the dark. read more

He was new, did not say much, didn't have much information to offer about the area, and looked pretty hungover from the night before maybe...If we were to go again, I'd try a different company. read more

Our family of 4 had a fabulous time!!! Roger, Clarence and Max were great guides. They were helpful and friendly. We hitched a ride up the mountain with them and we're so glad we did. The office staff was very communicative via email through the whole booking process and even afterwards. The only complaint was from my teenage daughter who said she didn't get to go fast enough. We did the 2 hour quick tour and we were out for over 2 hours - not mad about that! Highly recommend! read more

Disappointed to say the least! 4 if us on 3 snowmobiles. $583 Got on the sled. Guide came over and said: " The handwarmers don't work on this snowmobile. I will give you some heat packets to put in your gloves. If you need some more let me know." There were no other sleds available. The ride became miserable as the packets barely got warm in the palm but did nothing for my fingers. I was wearing gloves worn hunting in winter in Alaska, my equipment was not the failing part!( Of note, the sled with the non functioning handwarmers also didn't have a working instrument cluster!) As a side note be aware that for passengers there are No handwarmers. Secondly, the face shields were so scratched that when facing the sun, we had to flip them up to see. Pretty chilly when going 10-20 mph! We paid for a guided ride, but were in a huge group of at least 15 snowmobiles. We are newbies and wanted to go at our own pace, yet felt pressured to keep up from those ahead. Of note, the guide at the rear had overheating problems and frequently had to stop and shove handfuls of snow into her machine to cool it down. When we returned the machines I briefly spoke to the owner about the handwarmers, he blew me off saying that they are "always going out" & need to replace them. I meantioned the instrument cluster didn't work. That caught him a bit by surprise. Still no apology or offer to make things right. I don't recommend these people. read more

Can I give this company 10 stars? The absolute best! Our guide (Eric) was so awesome, he was patient, personable, knowledgeable. I can think of 10 more adjectives, but I don't want to waste the review. The machines were in great working order. They really go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. We took the half a day tour to canyon creek (2/23/17) and went to the summit of big mountain absolutely breath taking. They are not expensive for the great service they provide, it was well worth the money. If you are looking for a company to take you snowmobiling, look no further. You will not be sorry you used these people, and ask for Eric as your guide he is fantastic. read more

We rented snowmobiles and a guide 2/18/17 and had the best experience. Fabulous guide and beautiful scenery. I highly recommend if you are interested in snowmobiling and even if you are not maybe give it a try. Swan mountain had great customer service from booking until the end of snowmobiling. We had the most amazing experience with SMS this morning! We are a family of five and had rented two doubles and a single for a three hour trip with Erik. It was really, really, really cold. I mean, even for Montana, it was freezing! The littles riding in the back got really chilly and Erik was incredibly patient and did everything he could to make them comfortable - switching out gloves and goggles, using handwarmers, and joking and making sure everyone was as happy as can be. We did end up shortening our outing, but Erik was so accommodating we will definitely be back. Great job SMS - there aren't a lot of companies out there who really want customers to have a truly great experience, but yours is definitely one of them! Merry Christmas! read more

They have terrible customer service and don't pick up their phones. After calling MANY times throughout the week and sent an inquiry and never heard back or had someone pick up the phone. So we finally just decided to drive to the location that came up for "Swan Mountain Snowmobiling" on maps, and it took us to a garage. They have very unclear addresses on their many locations, so you don't know which location is their main office. Then when we spoke with the admin lady, she was rude and didn't take any responsibility for not picking up the phone. It's unfortunate because I'm sure they lose business all the time because of this. She said "typically we book a day ahead of time, but now you're 15 minutes until our last ride of the day starts." Which has she answered the phone, responded to our inquiry, or had the correct address on their map location, we would have been fine. A very frustrating customer experience! read more
