Best tasting honey that I have eaten. It has complete enzymes, not processed so it is straight from the bee hive.

Slow Food members (http://www.slowfoodphilly.org) and their families watched sheep shearing, fiber demonstrations, and enjoyed pastries provided by Talula's Table. The weather was brisk, but children still had fun feeding animals while the rest of us sampled Barbara's black bean lamb chili (topped with cilantro and chopped onions, perfect placed atop a slice of bread), and the farm's sheep cheeses. Meadowset Farm produces honey (my friend bought a jar for $5) and grass-fed lamb. I was tempted to take home some meat, but neglected to bring along an icebox. Next time! Many thanks to Slow Food and Meadowset Farm for a relaxing Saturday morning. [1] A few cats played host, too: a farm cat greeted us while we toured their beautiful grounds, following us to the rooster coop, meowing all the while.

We were welcomed very nicely by two lovely young women who then showed us a bit around the stables. My son loved looking at the animals, sampling cheese and petting the sheep and chickens. I got some wonderfully tasty fresh eggs, delicious pecorino style cheese, very nice honey, lamb ribs, lamb chops, ground lamb...i love lamb and it s nice to get it straight from the farm where one sees how it s cared for etc. I also bought some wool yarn...from their sheep. cant wait to make my little 1 1/2 year old something fun. I cant wait to go back!

There is so much to do for kids--feeding the baby farm animals and the games. I love the market with all of the fresh produce, baked goods and sauces/spices. They also have scheduled seasonal events. I believe they lost their apple crop this year due to weather but it looks like there will still be many fun activities and the market availability starting June 5. I highly recommend a trip to Milburn Orchards.

Customer Service-It was great!! All of the staff that we encountered were nice and helpful. Food *Apple Cider Donuts- THE BEST!!! Hands Down!!! I've been to a lot of pumpkin farms but baaaaaaby I have never tasted ACD like this. They had a nice crisp crunch on the outside and were soft on the inside. Oh, and they were HOT and FRESH!!!! *Caramel Apple Cider Donut Sundae-THE BEST!!! HANDS DOWN!!!! This is available at The Deck and you need to make sure you get one or maybe two because you won't want to share. Delicious vanilla ice cream at the bottom, apple cider donut. Then another layer of ice cream, topped with whipped cream and then a full donut and a caramel drizzle on top. You want one yet? *Freshly Squeezed Lemonade-It was loaded with bees around, but its delicious. Add Strawberry flavor and thank me later. *Kettle Korn-Popped Fresh on site, again hot and delicious Ambiance-Fall vibes Plenty of places for photo ops. Parking-Plenty of Free Parking on the lot
