For an entree we had the pesto ravioli which was fresh and perfectly al dente. The Mac and cheese that we had as a side was very heavy and a bit greasy. We also ordered a filet mignon since we were sharing between three people. It was perfectly cooked to medium and the demi glacé was perfect. Sharing the price fixe for 2 and ordering an additional entree was plenty for us and we got to try a variety of things. There is no kids menu but Jonathan, our server was nice enough to let us know which dudes or entrees the kitchen could customize to make kid-friendly. My daughter ordered the mac and cheese side and it was plenty for a kids entree. Overall, I think Beauty & Essex is fun for a special occasion dinner, even for a family dining either tween/teenage children. We saw mostly couples dining but didn't feel out of place for dinner at 6pm on a Monday night.

What was most surprising was that both dishes arrived in less than seven minutes, making the meal feel more like fast food than a leisurely dining experience.

It was only Trump, not any other celebrity or politician, etc., and it was all brand new, so obviously not used or vintage. We're not talking like vintage items from prior political campaigns, etc., which I do sometimes see at other antique and consignment shops. It felt really off-putting, and it made me not want to support the business, so I did not buy anything.
