Don't bring your watch here they tried to change the crystal. They were unable to do that and just told me they can't fix it. They gave me a slip that said "no longer water proof" The watch had to go back to Bulova anyway to replace the crystal (it was scratched) but I didn't notice the "no longer waterproof" note on the slip so I wore the watch and not knowing it was no longer waterproof I went in the water and now it took on water. It would have been nice for them to let me know that it was not waterproof, or to not have ruined it to begin with. Not cool at all. read more

I've only been to Nigrelli's one time, but I think I would recommend it to everyone I know. I went in needing a few links to be taken off a new watch and walked out with a wonderful experience. The jewelry store contains a seemingly great selection of jewels and a welcoming/helpful staff. The cost to get my links out was $3-$5 and they did it right in front of me within 5 minutes. There was no waiting. While I was standing in front of the register I realized that my sterling silver claddagh ring had been split (but still wearable) for a few years now. I had never gotten around to having it fixed anywhere and asked the jeweler if it were possible. He fixed it and took the links out of my watch for under $20 and less than 24 hours. My watch got botched! All I needed were 2 additional links added. Mr N., took my watch, fiddled with it for 15-20 minutes and brought it back to me. He told me he couldn't fix it because the watch maker sent the wrong links. I was bummed but grateful. It wasn't until I got home that I realized he messed up my watch band. I brought it to a proper watch repair shop in NYC and they fixed it. Mr N, if you can't fix a watch because you're not use to a certain brand then don't fiddle with it & mess it up. read more

I would give more than five stars if I could. I only use Nigrelli's for jewelry repair. I had a ring sized larger, I cannot see where the adjustment was made and the price was less than quoted. I had taken a ring to a well known chain jewelry store and the ring was lost in shipping. Nigrelli's does repair work on site. read more

DO NOT take your watches or jewelry to Nigrellis for sizing! They will break your jewelry and when you question them, they will tell you its too bad and they aren't replacing or repairing anything. Very unprofessional and the staff is very rude. I brought my expensive watch(which was a Christmas present) to Nigrellis to be fitted and they broke the links they removed so now I can never use them for replacements. When I questioned them about it, the salesman was extremely rude and told me too bad there's nothing they will do about it. So if you are thinking about going to Nigrellis with any jewelry that has meaning to you, please take my advice and take it somewhere else, Nigrellis will break and ruin it and they are very disrespectful. read more
