He works with you closely, is always responsive (even gives you his cell phone number!), will meet you at your request and in a timely manner in his office or via telephone conference. He explains everything in detail, but in easy-to-understand terminology. I got his name as a personal referral from a friend for whom he negotiated a large settlement in a complicated case. For me, my bad choice in the first firm I chose negatively effected my settlement, in my opinion. But Mr. Miller was still able to quickly get me out of the horror of the work comp system and get me am acceptable monetary award that will allow me to move on with getting better treatment for a fairly severe back injury on my own. I sincerely believe if I had contacted him first I would have received better care or a larger award. If you want experienced, personal service from an attorney who still cares, don't choose one of those "big box" firms where, like me, you will never be remembered and they never know what is going on with your case, and where they keep you either uninformed or misinformed. Call Tom Miller first for your best chance for a winning outcome!

I was in a lot of physical pain and discouraged thinking I would never receive the surgery that I truly needed. Immediately once I retained Kevin I saw instantaneous results. My surgery was finally approved thanks to him and the entire process actually began progressing again. Kevin's communication was A+, he always responded to my emails or phone calls and answered any questions I had throughout the entire process. He made things extremely smooth, straightforward, and easy. He went to bat for me and fought for me when it was necessary. I cannot thank him enough for helping me with my case as I have no clue where I would be without him representing me. I am truly grateful for him helping me get my health back. If I had to start the process over tomorrow I wouldn't pick anyone else to be in my corner. Great attorney, I cannot recommend him enough!

They quickly scheduled me for a consultation with Michael, who made me feel heard and reassured. After I signed a retainer agreement, they moved promptly to gather information about my case and draft a demand letter. However, communication broke down after that. I never received confirmation that the letter had been sent. When the response deadline passed, I reached out for an update and waited about a week for a reply. I was told they had modified the response deadline (apparently because the letter hadn't gone out as planned) and to give it more time. When the new deadline passed, I again had to reach out for updates. I was told they hadn't heard back from my landlord and would try emailing the letter. Once again, I didn't hear anything further until I followed up myself. They suggested waiting another week and then possibly filing if there was still no response. When I asked, multiple times, to discuss what filing would involve, I didn't receive a response. After two weeks without communication, I decided to end my representation, as I was concerned they wouldn't be proactive or responsive enough to resolve the matter effectively. I do appreciate that they produced a well-written demand letter and that Mr. Arrasmith personally reviewed it. My final invoice also showed a recommendation to proceed with filing, though that was never actually communicated to me. The next lawyer I hired brought things to a conclusion very quickly, but I feel like the money I spent with Mr. Arrasmith was wasted because that lawyer had to repeat a lot of the same work and draft a new demand letter. Overall, I felt I had to do the follow-up work myself to keep the case moving, and their lack of communication ultimately made me lose trust in their services.

To the readers, this attorney is as dishonest as they come. Beware! ames, I am done entertaining your excuses, your fabricated narratives, and your blatant misuse of my trust funds. You withdrew $2,310 from your IOLTA account after I cancelled representation, without authorization, without a signed agreement, without itemized time entries, without scope approval, and without performing a single minute of legitimate work. That is not a "misunderstanding." That is a violation of multiple California Rules of Professional Conduct. Let me spell out exactly what you violated: Rule 1.15 - Safekeeping Funds You withdrew client trust funds that were not earned, not authorized, and not supported by any written agreement. You billed for "legal secretarial work," "principal attorney case work," and "trust document review" even though I never hired you for trust work, never provided any documents, and cancelled before any work began. Withdrawing unearned funds is conversion. You know that. Rule 1.5 - Fees You charged for work that was never performed, never authorized, and outside the agreed scope. You fabricated "final accounting" as billable work. Final accounting is administrative. It is not compensable. You billed for tasks that cannot legally be billed. You billed for tasks that did not occur. You billed for tasks that were outside the CalSTRS scope. This is dishonest billing. Rule 1.4 - Communication You never obtained informed consent for any of the work you claim to have done. You never disclosed any time entries. You never disclosed any scope change. You never disclosed any trust‑account withdrawal. You never disclosed any basis for the charges. You simply took the money. Rule 1.0.1(e) - Informed Consent You cannot claim a phone call "voided" my cancellation. A phone call cannot reinstate representation. A phone call cannot authorize billing. A phone call cannot authorize trust withdrawal. Only a signed written agreement can create or modify an attorney‑client relationship. You never sent one after cancellation because you knew I would not sign it. Business & Professions Code §6068 You failed in your duty to act honestly, competently, and ethically. You acted in a manner that undermines public trust in the profession. You took advantage of a vulnerable client who explicitly told you about financial hardship. You exploited that vulnerability for profit. Your conduct is not a "difference of opinion." It is not "final accounting." It is not "earned fees." It is conversion, dishonesty, fabrication, and post‑cancellation billing -- all of which are grounds for discipline. You will return the $2,310 you withdrew from trust after cancellation. You will also return the unused portion of my consultation. You have no legal basis to keep any of it. You have no contractual basis. You have no ethical basis. You have no factual basis. You have nothing but excuses. I expect confirmation of the full refund immediately. If you continue to stall, manipulate, or fabricate explanations, I will proceed with every available remedy, including formal complaints with the State Bar Trust Fund Program, the Office of Chief Trial Counsel, and any other oversight bodies necessary to addr ess your misconduct. Return my money. Eric Vernon
