I was a little frantic because I have never had any kind of legal issues before. In the grand scheme of things, my legal matter wasn't that big of a deal, but it felt big to me. I was unsure of who to contact, so I turned to Yelp to try and find someone who could help me. I e-mailed quite a few different law firms explaining my situation and most of them wouldn't even talk to me on the phone without an outrageous fee. One firm quoted me $300 for 30 minutes of their time and it wasn't even guaranteed that they could help me. Originally, I gave them a one star because I felt they did not help me or even get back to me to say they can or cannot help me. I did not even know if I was going to get a phone call back. All the initial rep told me what's if they had any additional questions, I would get a call back. Other than that, I was left clueless if I have a case or not. Then I get a phone call the next day (about 4 PM) from Cutter Law. The first thing that rep says is "why did you give us a poor Yelp review?" and only seemed concerned about their reputation. She did not even ask any additional questions about my case or seemed like she cared. She said it generally takes 5-7 business days to get back to me, but that was not what was originally told to me. So I felt like she only called me back quickly because of the 1-star Yelp review. Then she turns around and says she can't help me anyways. I gave an additional star for attempting to give me a recommendation. I was consulting if I have a case or not and just wanted to find out my rights as employee but I didn't get that answer here. Their initial intake staff should have had enough skills to know if a person has a case or not and if that person can't figure it out, then they should have a skilled person to know that much! read more

Every question I had was answered patiently and quickly. I was involved in an accident where I was injured and sent to many months of therapy. Told me over the phone they would take my case. Said it sounded good and an attorney would call me. Instead they waited a week while my filing deadlines melted away and refused to give me a yes or no on proceeding over the phone. Instead they sent me a letter denying they would take my case as a business descion. Wasted tons of my time only to send me a letter like a phone call saying the same wouldn't suffice or wasn't more appropriate. Grow some balls and call back your customers, because instead of having a future client you lost me and anyone i know as a client for all future dealings forever. I dont need you responding to this with your excuses or what i could have done. You made your choice to send a letter and waste my time. I recommend calling another law firm less you run into my issue and have no time or limited time to file trusting these business descion oriented people at cutter.
