I am writing this review to share my experience as a first time "Cycle" rider. Earlier this year I began my physical transformation by starting cycle classes at Sweat Equity Cycle. My first class was horrifying...I felt nauseous, faint, and could not do most of the choreography the instructor was sharing. Rhythm riding (Sweat Equity style) is founded on riding to the beat of the music (either left or right lead). So much so my ride was done sitting in the seat (saddle) and the instructor was very encouraging and NOT judgmental about my capabilities! Thanks to that encouragement I continued attending classes and I am loving the way I feel during and after my rides! I feel stronger and I'm beginning to see my body respond to the work I'm putting in! If you want to have a party while working out you need to try a class at Sweat Equity Cycle Studio! Tips for success: Get there early to set up your bike (easy), bring water or energy drink if choice (classes make you real thirsty), and be ready to have a blast!, I have ridden with all of the cycle instructors and they are awesome! Big Fan of Alex Reynold's Sweat Equity. Just finished my second 8-week program of personal training. I'm a 62yo female and I started out with the goal of improving my bloodwork, especially inflammation marker APO-B. Alex prepared a custom menu for my goals, including weight loss. Not only did my bloodwork improve, I also lost weight and gained muscle in a sustainable way. Alex coached me through each routine and followed up on the metrics we were measuring: sleep, calories, protein, walking steps, weight and waist measurement. I highly recommend Alex. Love the energy at this studio and I'm glad I found an actual spinning class. The bikes at worx is not my cup of tea.
