We were jetlagged and exhausted and hungry. It was late, so we went looking for someplace that was open and near our hotel. Swede Hollow fit the bill.
I've walked by here a bunch of times on previous trips, but never paid much attention to this restaurant. The interior was cute. We had a table by the window with a view of the Arlanda Express.
I had the beef stew with hasselback potatoes and beets. I primarily ordered this option for the hasselback potatoes, which I'd never had before, and which were invented in Stockholm (albeit not at Swede Hollow).
The stew was great - tender and flavorful. The beets were perfectly nice. Unfortunately, the potatoes were undercooked and disappointing.
The service was fine.
I wouldn't rush back here, but I could see eating here again. read more
