So, I waited 2 months and the day of my appointment they called and tried to reschedule me two more months out. No explanation...nothing. Just a bunch of incompetent clowns working here. Wellness visit was laughable. I had to guide the conversation and in the end was charged for co-visit because of a request for a referral. I am amicable to pay for services rendered but in this case I was not made aware that a request for referral would result in an additional $119 charge and not fall under the wellness visit. The visit was a complete waste of time and I will be going outside of this clinic and provider. My previous Swedish provider was fantastic and the inconsistency is laughable. I have a soft spot for the difficulty in delivering good healthcare but this was bad all the way around. read more

As seen in the office as a new patient after moving from Florida. It was easy to make an appointment but I did have to wait a couple months due to lack of availability of appointments. Everyone from the front desk staff, medical assistants, and doctor were all kind and friendly and answered all of my questions. I was able to get a refill on my medication the day of my appointment. My only complaint is Dr Tweet told me she was sending the prescription refill request while we were in the exam room together but when I reached out to my pharmacy later that day they did it had not been received. I had to send two separate messages in MyChart before the refill was sent to the pharmacy. I work in healthcare and know how busy the work is and how long waits for appointments are not atypical and it is easy to get distracted from sending a refill request, so to me these are minor complaints. Maybe N. Bhumkar isn't aware, falsifying medical records is a felony crime with a potential fine of $250,000 or 5 years in prison. What happened to the case she was allegedly accused of "working at a Renton Nursing Home while infected with COVID-19, spreading virus"? She lied during my appt. She lied to her staff mgr. She falsified my medical record. She said, "the cornerstone of good medicine is a trustworthy doctor-patient relationship in her profile." Riiight. She states, "It's a great privilege to help people at their most vulnerable". She knew I suffered from anxiety depression because my spouse was killed in an auto accident. She treats patients as if they're an inanimate object. She talks at them not with them. She doesn't want you to be your own advocate. I updated my record at My Chart, 2 days prior to my appt. The nurse asked me the same questions, she also "updated" my record. Bhumkar noted in my record she was asking me questions because my chart wasn't updated. Lies. She said the only RA in Swedish was in Bellevue. Lies. I informed her they had several at Pac Med. She said that wasn't true. I said I'll research the Net and let her know which RA I've chosen. She said that I had to pick one in Swedish. Lies. Refer to the photo below, you can see there are other Swedish RAs in Renton. She likes to argue when she's wrong. I said several times I don't understand why you are arguing with me. I'm here for a DRs appointment not to argue. No reply. She stated Swedish in Renton has no other available primary drs except for her. If there were, I couldn't switch because I established a dr patient relationship with her. Lies. They had 2 male primary drs available. She was 1of 3. I had chosen her as a primary because her bio said internal medicine and because my prior primary retired. In my record she wrote I had chosen her because there weren't other available primary drs either. Lies. You can see in the photo below there are the 2 I mentioned to her. With my insurance I have choices. I choose my drs. I don't need referrals. Drs perform an exam, note symptoms, request labs to make a diagnosis. She tried to tell me that I had to pay for a specific labs because I didn't have a diagnosis. Clown. I asked for TSH, because of rapid weight gain, PTH for hypoparathyroidism and CBC to update my record. That's when she said I had to pay for it because I requested it and I wasn't diagnosed. Clown. Lies. I've never paid for labs with my insurance. I told her she is going to order my labs since I paid for this appointment. I rapidly gain 38# in 2 months. I've became overly tired, not SLE fatigue was the reason I had seen her and she just noted it it was chronic issues. Never asked me about my diet, any changes, nor suggest blood work. Just is there a record of your weight? Yes, MY word. I have internal tremors and she never addressed that. I needed to establish new prescriptions didn't even acknowledge that. She wrote in my medical record, she performed a medical exam. She never touched me nor shook my hand. She never saw me walk yet commented on my gait "Normal". My pulse was 113 bpm. I have diagnosed bradycardia but she noted that I wasn't in distress. She said my skin was "warm dry well perfused w/o cyanosis, clubbing or edema". She never looked, touched my feet or hands. Again trying to cover herself. If she had she would've known I have Raynaud's and scarring left from a recent bout of  SLE chilblains. She wrote there were no unusual lesions or rashes on my skin. How'd she know I was clothed head to toe. The nurse took my BP and I lifted my hat so she could take my temperature. I cover myself because I'm photosensitive from SLE. I have eczema on my shin, elbow and the SLE butterfly rash. If she examined me she would've noted too, I have new peripheral neuropathies and petechiae.  She noted my eyes were clear w/o discharge. She couldn't even tell you the color of my eyes. She wrote she referred me to an osteoporosis clinic. Why would I want a referral to an osteoporosis clinic when I told her I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2018 by DEXA. And I don't need a referral to see any specialist. She doesn't like you to participate in your health care, to advocate for yourself. She carried herself as if she's the dictator of my body. She wants a patient to be seen not heard. She kept pushing Swedish Drs on me, not that they're a bad thing, actually the ones I've seen were great except her. But how hard she pushed and lied one would swear she was making a commission on referrals. It felt like I was talking to a car salesman. Her lies were many. I list a few to let those who are considering her. Good DRs are a hard find. Keep looking it isn't her. When I ended my appt, I told her I turned on my recorder. Within minutes after leaving the clinic, her staff mgr called my mobile. He was more concerned if I recorded her than with the care I received in the clinic he managed. read more

This place just gets worse and worse . if you can't make my refills after I repeatedly call you guys and each time there's no record how could I feel like I trust this place! Swedish used to be the elite now dreadful to go to. The staff stinks from the front to the back. Not a single person is on the same page and you can feel it. Their excuse for everything is that they're short staff. Why do I need to know that just do your job so people don't have to call you back it will be less work for you later. I guess wouldn't wanna work there either if this is how it's ran. I wasn't gonna say anything but F**k ! this is gone too long and I know nothing probably gonna change but I have a glimpse of hope that this will be herd. I cannot give a lower rating or I would. 1. There is no parking except the shopping center garage two blocks away. This might be awkward if you have mobility problems. 2. The staff is rude. 3. The staff repeatedly failed to call me by my preferred name, in spite of my repeated requests that they do so. 4. Their primary care specialists will not prescribe psychiatric medication for a patient new to the clinic, even if you've been stable on it for more than a decade and it's documented in the Swedish system. You are required to have a psychiatric consult in order to get a diagnosis and medication plan; after you jump through that hoop, surprise! Your primary care specialist will be prescribing them. "Them" being the medications that have been documented in the Swedish medical records system, along with your perfectly adequate diagnosis, for years. 5. During my visit, a colon cancer screening was scheduled. Three days after the visit, I got a letter from the clinic informing me that I was overdue for this screening and should call to schedule it. One or two of these I could have coped with, but not all of them. Swedish has always kind of sucked over the years, but this was just too much. read more

Went for my annual physical exam and ARNP Julie Bartok was my attendee, and I was completely blown away by how nice, kind and professional she is. Such a nice doctor and answered all my questions. Usually doctors rush you but she is really patience and professional with such a great heart. She was really knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment! I would highly recommend Doctor Julie Bartok. I was beyond impressed with my experience at this new Swedish landing location. Staff is really friendly and process is fast. Just thought you should know that 3 of your staff members are not representing your clinic very well within the Renton Landing Shopping Center. This is not the first time that at least one of them have come in to our restaurant - using a passport dining card to get free food and then severely UNDER - tipping or not tipping at all after receiving excellent service. Employees in the restaurant industry are hurting right now during COVID - and it is extremely disrespectful and un-neighborly like for your staff to treat our employees in this way. A $2.50 tip on a total amount of $66 worth of food bought is basically a slap in the face to our staff. read more

The medical staff and front desk. is friendly and helpful. I have gone to my primary care physician as well as the nurse practitioners. They listen and work with you on deciding the best treatment. Although all the folks I've interfaced with here at Swedish at the Landing have been really nice, they don't run a very tight ship here. I've only been here 3 times so far. Once for primary care, once for specialty and once specifically for lab work at 8 am. 2 of those 3 times the doors were still closed and I had to wait outside about 10 mins after my appt start. And they have the nerve to tell me to come early for the check in process. Sometimes makes me hesitant to rely on these folks to draw my blood and diagnose me. However, their saving grace for me is the fact that they are close/convenient and I've been a patient with Swedish since I was a kid. That all being said, the doctors and administrative staff have been super nice. The two doctors I've seen have been very patient and knowledgeable. I've felt comfortable asking them questions and they've really taken the time to explain things to me. The facilities are brand new, so everything is clean and appear to be up to date. I like using the online Mychart system and the people who check me in and draw my blood have been great. Primary care is open on the weekends, which is a bonus. Darnit, can't you guys just be more organized? This far in, its not really considered a new place anymore, in my books. Should be no excuse for this disorganization. read more

I was never able to see my primary care doctor. If you were lucky, you might get a live person on the phone. 9 out of 10 times no one ever picked up the phone or it went to voicemail. Every time I was sick, they never had an appt for me, I always ended up in urgent care at another institution. Whenever I did have an appointment, it was with different ARNP's, never my actual PCP! 2 years ago I had severe pain and the dr could not diagnose the cause, I was advised to mychart her a couple days later. That same year she kept canceling and rescheduling my annual physical. The staff there automatically rescheduled me with another random ARNP and when I called to reschedule it back with my Dr, they made me wait 2-3 months out because of her availability. So I basically didn't see my Dr for about 2 years. I ended up switching to a fantastic NEW doctor at another Swedish facility (I commute all the way to issaquah now, I live in Seattle). I was just diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and I think it could've been caught sooner had the Dr from renton actually cared about their patients. My specialist Dr questioned why it took me a couple years to finally get checked out! According to her my lab results from 3-4 years ago were already showing concerns! I've read several reviews here and am utterly baffled. No, there is no instant parking - nor is there in many, many offices. There is parking very nearby. You would have this issue at nearly all medical offices not found in the suburbs. This location is not unique. A review about doctors refusing to prescribe psychiatric medicines to new patients - that was not my experience. I've not been on any kind of medication in two decades, and after a lengthy conversation, I got a prescription for the medicine of choice. That's simply not accurate. In fact, my only complaint, after four visits now, is the lab. The lab is.. not.. good. I waited 20 minutes to speak to anyone at the lab, in which I was fourth in line. After 20 minutes, no one had spoken to the scheduler because the scheduler was missing, and I left. Thankfully the issue I was having vanished a couple days later. I've had nothing, other than the lab, but a highly positive experience. The check-in staff seem possibly under-staffed, but that's really it. I avoid doctors at all costs, I've spent too much time in hospitals, and had some poor treatment from other doctors. I was planning to move in 2020. Having actually developed an actual working relationship with a doctor, I'm not. I kind of enjoy SRPC, which is never something I thought I would admit to. read more

I LOVE this doctors office! The staff is always so nice and helpful but what really impresses me is their willingness to accommodate patients schedules. My work hours inhibit my ability to be seen, except for during my one hour lunch break. They must take excellent notes because right when I tell them who I am and what time my appointment is their pace quickens and I am seem within two minutes of checking in. They must also communicate this with the doctor because after my vitals are taken, the doctor comes in within three minutes! My wife and I have never had a worse experience at a medical facility than at this place. I'll just outline this in bullet points: 1. My wife comes in due to the fact that we are planning to have a child and is having issues The doctor gives her a pap smear and we await the results. The doctor is a creepy man (Dr. Moore) who was completely inappropriate the entire time. 2. Several months later, I go in again with her and of course, he is completely incompetent and the whole traumatic experience was lost for her from the creep. She had to get another pap smear. 3. We are told to enter a specific room and there is literally a woman spread eagled on the stirrups getting her own pap smear. The receptionist apologized but this is not a mistake we appreciate a medical place making. 4. We go to a woman that we somewhat like but unfortunately she informs informs us that a) they lost the results of the creepy guy that took the initial pap smear and that b) they have to do everything over again, c) she is leaving the company soon. 5. We didn't come back to receive further results. read more

While I really like the doctors, it is so incredibly difficult to get an appointment. I can never get in for a cold and am constantly referred to urgent care which my co-pay is double what my primary would be. We had hoped it would be the perfect place since they are right across the street from our residence. Sorry to say, I'm not too impressed with the office here. Recently moved from New York and needed some basic blood work to follow up on my cholesterol. The MA there didn't check which lab was preferred by my insurance and assumed that Labcorp was fine. The end result was that I got billed for $300 for labs that are usually covered by my insurance. I don't have a deductible. I work for a medical facility and we have 4 lab vendors that we use. We don't just send blood work out to only one vendor and assume that it's the preferred laboratory cause the patient will be stuck with the bills. We keep track of which laboratory to send labs based on which insurance so that our patients don't get stuck with a bill. So far I haven't heard back from Swedish at Renton as of yet. The only answer that I got was that they will send everything to Labcorp regardless and they don't check. Save yourself some trouble. Update 4/19/217: Swedish only uses Labcorp as they have a contract with them. If your labcorp is out of network then you would be stuck with a bill or another alternative is to get a script and get the labs done elsewhere. Seems like a hassle to be honest. Looks like I am going to need to find another provider. read more

Don't bother. Trying to get into this practice is like trying to get into Fort Knox...impossible. I was told by multiple staff different ways that they would accept new patients: (1) new providers are coming - call in a couple of months (2) if your children are there, you can get become a part of their doctor's panel. Turns out both of those ways are not available, even after confirming them with the clinic supervisor. Doctors have been great, but the front staff/trying to get in...ugh. Never had an issue with the doctors (other than that they rush you through and don't really let you get out all of your concerns) but my beef is with the office staff. I have decided to switch offices for this sole reason. they are rude and show 0% empathy. They could care less about the patients that come in and try to be smart asses in answering your questions. To put a sick person who needs help through messaging and telling them to call and calling and only getting voicemail and never getting a returned call to go back to messaging to say well we told you to call is absurd. Scheduled my appointment a week in advance. When I arrived for my appointment time and found out that Chandni's care team deleted my appointment and said that she was not my primary care physician. Well, that information was quite obvious because she is a Nurse Practitioner and not a Medical Doctor. But, she was the provider I has always been seeing whenever I make an appointment because apparently my PCP is always booked. I never got a call for this cancellation in advance. They suggested that I could be seen the next day but I only have one day off per week. This was such an inconvenience for me, they need to pay better attention in general. This should not have been complicated by any means. As a Swedish employee, I am very disappointed. They should be trained better at that facility. read more

They scheduled me last minute for my appointment and then I called and said I was going to be 15-20 minutes late for an hour appointment and they said that this was okay because I live an hour away &I it was my first time there!! I get there and it took them around and extra 10 minutes to check me in to figure out who I was seeing by that time the doctor was not able too see me. I understand if I'm late that it is grounds to cancel, it was my fault that I was late but I was told to come in still. I work 4 jobs (no exaggeration) and go to school at UW! I'm a student and don't have a lot of money I spent all this gas to come there and the doctor wouldn't see me even though I was told to come in. This was okay I understood, I work in scheduling things happen. But what was not okay is how the front desk handled this. The front desk lady told me that it was not okay that I was this late and maybe next time she could fit me in if I worked on my time management. She has no right to tell me too work on my time management, when I was late because of extreme traffic !!! Little does she know I was there for my traumatic brain injury that causes me to forget things! VERY unprofessional, especially for an established medical institution. read more

I knew it was too good to be true having a good close primary care in Renton. First choice was Swedish Issaquah but all doctors are mostly always all booked up. Made appointment with a Dr. he ends up cancelling my appointment and of course I get no call. I show up they're and the receptionist is like uumm he cancelled. Little dude helping me says looks like we called and nobody answered. I said I got no missed calls whats the number on file? He says my phone number and of course they have the wrong # on file. When I made the appointment they never repeated my phone# when they asked for it. Your a receptionist get the information of patients down correctly! So, I book another appointment with a different Dr. cause I just didn't feel good with the whole situation of him cancelling on me. The Second time I come in little man again with little attitude asks a question and I miss it and he just starring at me with this disgust look. Haha boy o boy. I was about to snap my fingers in circles and say Oh no u diiiidn't! ahahah. Anyways so I FINALLY get to see a Dr. my physical consists of touching my balls (doesn't make me cough), touches throat, stomach, checks mouth and ears and wraps up all in like 2 minutes. I was like daaaam that was fast! Test results show up the girls says Dr. wants you take pills for cholestrol. Um can't I see if I can lower it by exercise and diet first? My level was around 350 normal is 150. It's high but not pill high I think. My buddy had 800 level and thats when he had to take pills. I was done with this place by then. Went to Issaquah Swedish omg, much more professional and organized. Got my blood drawn again, it comes out normal cholestrol with exercise and diet. Thanks Doc for trying to feed me pills when I don't need them. I told the nurse I ate like 8hrs before she said it doesn't matter and I don't know if that's true or what cause some places say to fast some places say doesn't mater... Anyways I'm not sure if that affected my blood tests regardless I'm not going there NO MORE! read more

Not impressed with this location. I loved the Issaquah branch but went here for a last minute appointment despite the negative reviews due to the convenience. The staff was friendly for the short time I was there but the entire day I couldn't get a hold of the clinic through their main phone number (which never goes to voicemail) to cancel my appointment. Also, they promised to call me with my results for an important test the next day and never did. When I called in myself a few days later, I got cut off and never got a call back (and of course faced again with not being able to get a hold of anyone at their phone number). If I was a patient for something serious or a regular, I'd definitely not commit to this location due to the lack of help. read more

The front desk person was inconsiderate. I cannot write and i was forced to fill out forms. Told the doctor i had a was having bad experience and needed her stop and listen to me. She said if i was going to speak that way i could leave. I felt kicked when i was down. I made a big effort to get out of bed , get dressed, travel, etc with my injury. I have been disappointed with Swedish and its care. Staff was very friendly in person, but I have been less than helpful over the phone. At my appointment the physician re-ordered my perscription medication and had it directly sent to the pharmacy. I got a call hours later from the pharmacy stating that they wouldnt be able to fill it that day due to the need for physician approval. A week later I stopped in to pick up the medication and was told that the physician still hasnt responded with the needed authorization. I attempted to sign into the MyChart to contact the doctor but was unable to sign up online. I called the Dr office to try and sign up over the phone and was told that MyChart would be taken care of at my appointment. I explained that I'd already been in for my appointment and nothing was ever mentioned about MyChart. The recpetionist explained that she couldnt help me. At that point I was transfered to my physicians receptionist (who must have been having a bad day), she was very short with me but said that she'd look into the paperwork.
