I pay a monthly fee for a service that guarantees a monthly spray and a 48-hour callback for issues that arise between sprays. I have been attempting to get a callback from this local office for 6 days. I've called the national customer service line and spoken to ten different people all who promised to resolve this for me. No one did. I sent three messages over the online portal begging for a phone call. No one called. I explained each time that I am immunocompromised and weak as a result of a medical condition and that a pest infestation is particularly dangerous for me. Still no one called. I ended up paying $140 for another company to spray--a service Terminix was obligated to provide me for me. Now, after speaking to a Terminix billing agent, I was told they will not pay me the $140 back. No one can direct me to a department that can help me. This is nothing short of insane.

From the start, we were reassured by John's professionalism and obvious expertise. At every stage of the process, he let us know what he was finding and what our options were for dealing with it. He made recommendations (which we took) but left all decisions about modifications to our house and the fate of the animals he trapped up to us. He performed a thorough assessment of our property: inside and out, roof to foundation. He identified evidence of chipmunks, mice, and flying squirrels, and found their points of entry. He developed a plan, in consultation with us, for trapping the animals who were making their nests within our walls while leaving the innocents in the yard alone. John set several live traps, and over the course of about a week, caught a few chipmunks and determined that the flying squirrels had long since left their nests. He gradually closed up all their points of entry, found the exit trails of the mice, and closed those up, too. I recently hired Ehrlich to handle a squirrel problem I am having in my eaves and crawl space…read more When I first contacted them they sent someone over for a free quote within a day or two. I thought they would be sending an actual tech to do the quote but in reality it was just a salesperson. While the salesperson was very nice, he was not as knowledgeable as I would have liked. A few days passed before i received the quote as the salesperson initially sent it to the incorrect email address. Once the quote was signed a tech did come over unannounced while I was not home to take a look at the issue. Shortly after the tech did give me a call to let me know he had been there to have a look and informed me that since the eaves where the squirrel was getting in were so high they would not do anything until spring when the snow was off the ground. I was a little annoyed the salesperson didn't mention that but I let it go. a few months later when they did finally come all they did was set three traps in the same area for 3-4 days and come and check them everyday. When they hadn't caught anything after that time I was not at all surprised because the traps were nowhere near the route the squirrels are taking. Had the tech truly paid attention they would have found evidence of how the squirrel was gaining access. Once they removed the traps they installed a one way door at one of the access points and left that for at least a week. Then they removed it and put a mesh patch over the hole the squirrels where using to get in. Literally a day or two after the work was done. I started hearing even more squirrel activity on my eaves and when I went outside to take a look I saw that because the squirrels were running back and forth along the soffit they had knocked an entire section of soffit out of place. I reached out to the tech to let him know I was still having an issue and sent pictures, including ones with the squirrel causing the damage. The tech did say he would stop by the next day to fix the soffit but said it looked like the mesh had held so they shouldn't be getting in my attic anymore. It seemed there was no concern that the squirrel was still causing problems. In fact, I think Ehrlich actually made the problem worse. So now I am out over $1,000 and have even more squirrel damage than when I hired them. DO NOT HIRE EHRLICH FOR WILDLIFE REMOVAL UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY!
