Franchesca would regularly visit and helped us with paint color selection, and ensured that everything stayed on track and within budget. The team went over and above to ensure we were happy, and were meticulous and detail oriented. Our new kitchen looks gorgeous, and we constantly receive compliments about the design, quality and workmanship. We signed a contract in March of 2021 and he did not finish the project until April of 2022, a single bathroom remodel. In the course of demo for remodel, his crew cut through pipes and live wires. His crew attempted to conceal the issues by wrapping painters tape around water pipes, which resulted in flooding my downstairs. His crew left expose live wires with painters tape on them as a their fix and left my house in a potentially dangerous situation. Upon me expressing my concerns, he threaten to walk away and drop the contract. I was forced to continue the project, due to the fact he had caused more damage, than he made improvements at that point. He would constantly attempt to cut ever corner he could in rectifying it. Other than some unqualified laborers, he has no one on his payroll, he is simply calling contractors you could call yourself, with little to no planning and scheduling. This resulted in large delays between each phase and most sub contractor were so frustrated with him, they did not want to work for him. If it wasn't for constant calling and emailing him and his sub contractors directly, managing the project on our own, it would have never got done. What work him and his actual crew, of unqualified laborers did, was sub par and leaves us questioning what I did not see. I have not even finished expressing how bad every aspect of this project was, do not believe a word he says. I wish I could give negative stars. While the quality of the work was quite good and the project was completed on time, the owner of this firm is very difficult to work with: 1) He gave a very vague quote, giving the impression that the total cost was much lower than expected ($5,100 versus $3,600.); and 2) upon realizing this mistake, the owner never apologized but instead threatened to sue us and file a mechanic's lien when we tried to compromise to reach a resolution. The owner lacks business acumen with little no understanding of business protocol (that in quoting a job, he needs to separate labor from material costs and that this should be done on one estimate, not broken into two separate invoices, or start a job before all the signatories have signed an contract.), and, worse, resorted to racist and inflammatory comments during our later interactions to resolve the matter. This firm may appear to provide better pricing than competitors, but the owner is a very immature young man and cannot be trusted to any serious project. Do not take the bait!

He listens to all the requests and has great solutions for every problem. When I started the project all I wanted was a clean nice bathroom, but as we proceeded many structural needs were addressed - my dryer didn't work properly for longest time and it was fixed; when the floor tiles were changed, more insulation was put in place to prevent odors and noise coming from apartment below; the exhaust fan was replaced to the one that nearly makes any noise, etc. I'm very happy with Steven's work and will definitely come back!
