We came by at 5:55 pm / 17:55 and they were closing in 5 minutes! We got a lemon cannoli and lemon sorbet. The cannoli has a really creamy center and a light lemon flavor - outstanding. The lemon sorbet had a much stronger and sweeter lemon flavor and was - outstanding. Add that to they gave me a free cup of coffee because it was end of the day and this place was clearly 5 stars. My wife said if we lived nearby this would be a place we would become regulars. read more

The cannoli were unrivalled. We couldn't decide, so sprung for the box of four. All were tasty, but my favourite just had to be the coconut! The pastry was perfect - light, flaky, firm, and a touch chewy. Delightfully messy to bite into! The filling was thick and rich, yet not overly sweet. Our baristas were pleasant as could be, greeting us and sharing characteristic details of the establishment when we disclosed it was our first visit. Not only were they able to build quite a fun rapport with us, they also held a camaraderie of their own that screamed "this place is a gas to work and play at!". Immediately I knew what I wanted to drink - an iced chai with oat milk... the staff playfully agreed with me when I asked for whip and stated "I order non-dairy milk precisely so I can enjoy whipped cream!". My +1 got one of the St. Patty's themed specials, based purely on the name and it turned out delicious as well. The decor was charming, the environment clean and warm. A cute looking place, but over priced due to the atmosphere, not the food. A friend had coffee she really enjoyed, but the desserts were mediocre. The key lime tart did not have any real lime juice or zest. The "cannoli" is not what I was expecting either. What they are calling a "cannoli" is a just puff pastry baked, and filled with cream. It's more commonly known as a cream horn. The best parts of a real cannoli are the crisp fried pastry, and creamy ricotta filling. Their recipe has neither of these things!! While the cream horn was alright, it was a disappointment due to false advertising. Judging by the other positive reviews, Lacombe must be too far away from anywhere that serves real cannoli for people to know what they are missing. read more

Such a great place. Came here for lunch and was really impressed. The sandwichs were so good made from quality ingredients. The Americano coffees were great, and all the pastries were great. I had a kirsch chocolate and cherry cake. So good. And the almond puff pastry thing Ken has looked great. And the decor is great and really fits in with the historic Downtown. read more

Red Deer's Sweet Capone' s is brand new and and there Cannolis are delicious! Tried Lemon, cookies and cream, vanilla and double chocolate..they are quite big and the taste is very authentic!! Specialty cooffes are a good price and look very yummy as well, will try next time. Very nice location, easy in easy out, on the main drag, great healthy store next to it! read more

They no longer sell actual cannolis, they're actually just filled cream horns that look and taste like they're industrially made, not baked on site. Very disappointed. They no longer sell Italian pastries as they did a year ago. Not coming back. read more

Pastries are great! But when there last, one of the staff bumped a lid that was covering desserts (I saw it) and it fell cutting a customers leg causing it to bleed. The staff then kind of ignore us when it happened and we picked up the lid trying to communicate they probably should immediately take it back to be washed. But the staff who did it just told us to leave out it up on counter abruptly. Then the next staff member coming from the kitchen went to reuse it because no was listening or communicating with us. Then we tell one of the owners why it needs to be washed and the staff who knocked it off says "the wind caught it.... ". I thought it could have been handled better. Maybe see if the person needs a band aid at least and is okay. Take some responsibility! read more

The Cannolis are one of the best tasting pastries I've ever had. The cafe itself is charming and feels authentic. The staff is very friendly. My only criticism is the pricing. It has become more of a treat I get once in a while where if it was a little cheaper I would be going in 2 - 3 times a week easily! Saying that though... Incredible sweets!! read more

Excellent little shop in Lacombe, a local gem. Amazing baking, really fresh with quality ingredients. It took quite a long time for the four specialty drinks we ordered(hot chocolate and lattes). That's my only complaint. The cannoli and pesche dolci was incredible. A tad on the pricey side, so we won't be frequenting as often as we like. Worth the splurge once in awhile though, really great. Awesome building and ambiance. read more
