A huge concern of ours was signing with realtors who weren't as concerned with buyers in a lower price range and buyers who quite honestly needed a bit more hand holding as we knew next to nothing about the process of a home purchase. Even after our first consultation with Kirsten and Rick, we felt loads better. After our first in person meeting, we were more than sure they would treat us well and we couldn't have been more correct. They never once treated us with any judgement and always gave a superior level of customer service for us in spite of being on a more "starter" home budget. They took the time to explain things in plain terms, allow us to ask questions without judgement, and more often than not - anticipated the information we would need or want so we didn't even have to ask the question! After only looking at 4-5 houses with them, both Kirsten and Rick were able to so accurately understand and anticipates our needs and wants for our home that we felt entirely comfortable putting offers on homes that we had not seen but only they had seen in person - we felt 100% sure that if anything was even potentially an issue for our wants and needs, Kirsten and Rick would notice and bring it to our attention. They consistently went above and beyond for us as well. While we were watching for new listings that met our wants/needs constantly, Kirsten and Rick had hawk eyes on the new listings. There were a few listings we'd send them, that without any prompting from us, they had gone to look at on our behalf already. While they had other clients actively working with them at the same time as our home search, never once did Kirsten and Rick not respond nor were they completely unavailable for our inquiries. Response times were always quick and any last minute requests or changes were handled with respect, kindness, and understanding. Their level of organization and their vendor network (lender, title company, home inspector) made the experience incredibly smooth. Kirsten and Rick and their vendors worked so seamlessly together that other than looking at the potential houses, we didn't have to do any of the legwork. We continually kept saying to ourselves, "it cannot be this easy for everyone" and after sharing our experience with family and friends, it clearly is not. We cannot stress enough how incredible the Powell's made our first home buying experience.
