He performed a thorough inspection of all three garage doors and quickly identified the problem. The lag bolts securing the tracks had been installed incorrectly and were the wrong size. Not only did he correct the issue on the affected door, but he also inspected the remaining garage doors and found several other loose fasteners that needed attention. We decided it would be best to replace all the lag bolts to prevent any future issues. What I appreciated most was that Raymond took the time to explain everything he was doing and why the repairs were necessary. However, after I posted it(they apparently monitor their reviews) Martin called. Essentially they said you're pissed and understandably . Let us make it right. Helped me get the roof reinspected as well as gutter and siding. As near as I can tell it was quality work (I'm in no position to inspect a roof). The roof got replaced in a decent time frame. The other work took some time and calls from me to find out what the hold up was. Overall it was a good experience with the noted caveats.

I'm only posting in hopes that this reaches people so that they know when a storm hits not to buy into Benchmark's smooth talking, storm chasing, sales pitch (I'm sure somebody will read this and think I'm an idiot for having signed a contract with a storm chaser). I am in the Green County area in WI that was hit by a bad hail storm 12.5 months ago and my property damage is still not completed. Promised me everything would be done last fall right after the storm, completed my house roof then boom...never showed up, told me October...never showed up, and then tried to tell me they were going to be at my place right before Christmas to do my outer building steel roofs when it was between 2 and 20° outside with animals in the barn. They waited six months to tell me that the siding, that was supposed to be done last summer/fall, was unavailable...it was just completed this week. They are not contractors. They are "master" contractors that hire any company that they can to patchwork a project together in one of the worst fashions imaginable (I had no idea of this). If they respond to this with their excuses, I won't be surprised, as for the last 10 months, I've heard nothing but dishonest fabricated stories about why my repairs haven't been completed. Absolutely awful business model. I didn't even know that they had no employees that do the actual work until one week ago. While I was waiting for the first insurance check, I gave them a $10,000 deposit out of my own pocket so they would get started ASAP, they tried to keep that money after they received $40,000 of insurance money...claiming my contract was for $74,807.99, so really I still owed them $24,807.99 (for having only completed the house roof! And under an insurance contract!) It took me yelling and screaming that that was not the money to pay for the work that was my personal money so they would get a jumpstart on the project which they absolutely did not. It took me ~3.5 months to get my $10,000 back after they received $40,000 from insurance. They had that $40,000 and all they completed was a $22,000 roof on my house until April 2026...11 months after the storm. They'll see this and jump on and say I held $8600 that belonged to them. To the best of my knowledge getting a 40% down payment for an entire project that had nothing completed aside from a roof on a house would seem a feasible amount of money for them to actually get some work done and not just hold onto the insurance money and not work in the repairs for 11 months. I was told the window that needed to be fixed because of the hail storm was a custom window so it would take time to get, I asked last week where it was as the siding was put up so now the siding will have to be torn off to install the window and was told that Pella mistakenly gave that to another client. A custom window that just happened to fit another client perfectly. If I didn't know better, I would say I was lied to. I am going to sign off because I'm ranting right now...so many more facts of the incompetence. I cannot say enough bad things about this company. AVOID! Regardless of what BS rebuttal to this review they may post.

Im a stickler for custom service because I feel that it has declined drasticlly in people and establishments over years, but they were a great representation of how to great and speak to a customer.
