It was so nice that the photographer comes to your house rather than having to take your newborn out just after birth. The photographer was professional and so kind. I loved Sweet Me Photography. While searching for a photographer to take newborn pictures you are met with some outrageous prices. Now I do understand that taking pictures of newborns is difficult as they are uncooperative and you have to work on their schedule. However, some prices I found were just ridiculous. It was over 1,000 for like 10 pictures and an additional amount of money to take pictures with the family and you had to go to a studio. I could not justify spending 1,000 on 10 pictures and I couldn't even be in any of them. It was a daunting search, but luckily I had found Sweet Me Photography. The first thing that attracted me were their prices. It was $395 for 8 pictures, they come to your house, and they take family photos. I was basically sold right there. They had everything I wanted for a reasonable price (comparatively at least). However, I was blown away by the quality of the photos. They turned out better than I ever expected and I ended up purchasing more (this feature was another selling point). First, Cynthia, our photographer was amazing! She has a great eye for detail and did a great job putting my fall themed photos together with warm accents. She was amazing with my baby as well. I didn't feel nervous about her handling my baby at all. In fact, I was so impressed with how she was able to soothe my fussy baby, I picked up a few tricks that I started using. I couldn't believe she got my crying, screaming baby so calm that she was able to wrap up the baby in a swaddle and take pictures where she looks absolutely peaceful. She was able to give me exactly what I wanted too. I really wanted fall themed pictures with pumpkins and leaves. She took the fall decor I had in my home and just threw together this beautiful fall display. It was just gorgeous. From start to finish the customer service was better than expected though. They promptly respond to emails and questions making you feel like a valued customer. I would highly recommend this company for newborn pictures or any other pictures you may have. She did an outstanding job working with our baby through the various set backdrops and costume changes, while she brought quite a good deal of costumes, she was great at working our own items into the set and even shot an outstanding family portrait. A few days later, we received notice that the untouched profs were ready. Their online interface allowed us to select the desired pictures for retouching. I could not be happier with my experience with Sweet Me! Everything was such a seamless process from beginning to end. I love that their pricing is simple and upfront on the website. Once I submitted an inquiry to book, I had a response from the company within hours. In addition, I had to change my date booked due to the early arrival of my son, and Sweet Me did not miss a beat! The process with sweet me makes getting newborn photos as easy as possible. The booking process was so simple and they are extremely quick to respond to questions or inquiries. Our little one arrived 16 days early and they were able to accommodate and shift around our photo day to make sure we truly received 'newborn' photos. First of all, they come to your house. This is huge because as a first time parent, leaving home can be stressful for everyone. Our photographer was Candy and she was incredible. She called a few days before to connect and answer any questions and find out get a general idea of what we were hoping to achieve. The day of we realized how lucky we were! She was here all day shushing, calming and working with our slightly fussy newborn. She worked so hard and had the best attitude, even when he had a few accidents on her and the props. She was truly incredible and so patient. We were so thankful to work with such a kind and positive woman! The hardest part of this whole process is deciding which images to order. Our photographer was Cheryl. She was amazing! She photographed our little girl at 8 days old. When our little one got fussy towards the end of the shoot, Cheryl would soothe her by shushing, rocking, and swaddling her. Our shoot ended up being almost 3 hours because Cheryl was very patient, and took her time getting the perfect shots for us. Cheryl even incorporated some ideas that my husband and I had for shots-- including using my husband's bass drum, snare, and a Gibson guitar as props in a photo. Not even a week later, we have already received access to our gallery. We originally started with the basic package, but it is going to be hard to choose only 8 images, so we may upgrade to a larger package now. There are too many beautiful pictures to choose from!! We loved the photographer Cheryl and our newborn's photos. It was worth every penny. Our baby wasn't exactly cooperative. He just refused to go to sleep even when Cheryl did all the tricks in the books. But Cheryl was extremely patient and made sure she took great shots for us to select from.
