Levi absolutely loved this structured socializing hour and had a blast. On top of making a new doberman bestie, we also got a lot of training tips and advice from the trainer, Charisma. We even worked on a little loose leash training and a new trick called "place." I wasn't expecting so much for only $10! After our first social hour, Levi became the most loving puppy ever! What was once an energizer bunny is now a chill and cuddly K-9. I don't know what magic they did to my dog but I highly recommend bringing your puppy here!! I truly wish I didn't spend all my money on another training business because I would've loved for Levi to do their day training program. Have you ever had something happen with a pup and you are completely lost on what to do? Well…read morethat's what happened with us and we are sooooo thankful for Mike at Anytime Dog Training!! Our 5 month old male pittie mix bit our son requiring a trip to the pediatrician and 2 fur parents who have dogs all their lives with no clue what to do with the pup. We didn't want to give him away, we contacted the rescue we got him from who said they'd probably put him down, so I started reaching out to trainers for help. The email I sent Anytime Dog Training probably made me sound like a crazy person just overreacting, but I was anxious and overwhelmed, and Mike reached out on the day they received the email (the day they were closed btw) to find out what was going on and were able to come over the next day for a consult. We felt immediately better after meeting Mike and his wife and knew we had picked the right place. We dropped our pup Loki off for a 3 week board and train for behavioral modification and knew he'd be ok. The facility was clean and well-maintained, nice and cool on one of the hottest days of the year so far. It's always scary leaving your baby for their first overnight stay away from home but Mike eased our nerves by sharing videos of Loki making new friends, putting in the training work, and how absolutely happy he was being there. Mike brought him to our home several times throughout the weeks for us to train with Loki as a family for us to see how far he'd come in his training, along with getting our son comfortable with Loki again. I mean Loki loves Mike, and you've gotta be a pretty good guy to gain the love and respect from a big head bully pup! We could not be anymore impressed with Mike's skill and expertise with training our stubborn Loki, and answering all the questions and the fears from his mama lol. Teaching Loki to be a better version of his self was worth every penny we spent for the care and professionalism he received. Now that we know we've found the best, we will never board our Loki anywhere else. Plus definitely plan on sending him and his big sister Penny there for doggy daycare to play again soon!!

Dr. Lackey decided to give our $ 20k grand champion rottweiler a hysterectomy based on her diagnosis. My subsequent investigation into the matter found that uterine inertia is not cause for this drastic measure. Additionally when I brought my girl in for breeding and prenatal care Dr. Lackey once commented that this would be my girls second and last litter.....I thought she was just kidding. Have never been back and would suggest you take any reproduction work to NC state or anywhere but Scott's Hill and Dr. Lackey

Then a walk out of the room and a return. No eye contact while the forced, minimalistic conversation took place. Apparently they have a procedure where they have you weigh your own pet in the lobby and you tell them your dogs weight? If you don't understand this going in, prepare to get attitude. Then they start the procedure with your dog without a conversation (without you in the room) and then take you to a room with the dog. It's not exactly clean. I mean the floors are free from debris and the counters free from clutter but it isn't newly scrubbed and smells like what you would expect of a pet hospital. Dingy. Dingy. Dingy. Your office doesn't need to be brand new but this isn't what I think is acceptable. I'd like to speak for the care but I didn't witness any of it so I can't tell you? For all of these things; the attitude, the lack of explanation, the lack of friendly proactive interaction and non communicative behavior I take away all your stars. BUT the vet was nice and did her job. Took a second to explain a couple things and kind of answered a question. So 3 stars back. When we paid, "Thank you. Y'all have a nice day." Too little too late ladies. The woman who brought cookies was greeted with a smile and friendly banter. Maybe they are as food driven as their customers. Wilmington Animal Healthcare is a little further but it's SUPER CLEAN and they do a lot of the things with you in the room so you can be with your baby or ask questions. They are super accommodating to any needs you might have. They will talk to you until you are satisfied. They take time to love your pet and get to know them. They take time to get to know you. It's worth the drive.
